Law of Free Will vs Knowledge
Before starting this one, I want to say that the last post (New Age and MCS) on Sunday was not all there. I had trouble getting into the forum and then what I posted was missing some segments – it would have been more interesting, more balanced, it wasn’t all negative… and they never made it. I reviewed the post and didn’t ‘see’ the missing parts -- till today. No, it’s not the PunBB software – this happens from time to time, and this time it wasn’t the negs; I received some ‘corrective’ insights Monday morning upon waking. (Don’t you hate it when They do that?) What I posted was true, but a couple of parts infringed on others’ freewill and spiritual development in ways I wasn’t aware. I was politely reprimanded and enlightened. Hence this general acknowledgement and apology for those parts… I walked right into the trap. My Guide knows what I mean.

Having said that, it is important to share a few things…
If I tell you what to do, what to think or what to believe, I am guilty of breaking the Law of Freewill. I apologize. I did that in a couple of posts. I did not know that giving esoteric answers interferes with peoples’ spiritual growth to the extent that they may believe what I say and stop seeking to know truth for themselves. Thus, if I tell you the Truth, it is not as valuable to you as when you have to dig it out for yourself. It will become part of you if you have to dig for it yourself. If I just give it you, it will have less meaning.
If I give a third grader the answers to his math test, and he doesn’t have to work them out himself, and understand how math works and how to work it, then he and I both have failed to learn. If I guide him in the process to the solution and he sees how to do it, and can replicate the process by himself, then the knowledge and skill both mean much more to him and become ‘part’ of him.
Being a Bringer of Enlightenment is a trap. An ego trap. 'Here – I have the answers, let me tell you – and save you some time!' I really believed until two days ago that if we knew the Truth, higher metaphysical truth, that we had an obligation to share it, teach it -- put it out there. What good is sitting on one’s Light? People are suffering and if we have answers, shouldn’t we be coming to the rescue?
How does it violate Freewill (for which the negs are famous, by the way)? We all have choices… we are to seek, make choices, work with those choices and discover if they are worthy of our turning them into a belief and keeping it as such. The reason organized religion is anathema is that they tell you what to believe/think, to not question, or what to do. Organized religion violates your freewill (and thus the Law of Freewill).
On top of it all, I am not of the Teacher or Priest archetype (which is empowered to teach); I am of the Warrior archetype and my ‘job’ is not to teach Light but promote it – which I am learning is not so much to DO as to BE and let IT flow thru me. The Warrior anchors the Light by being in places where darkness seeks to rule and the Light with the warrior does the work. (I found this ‘not doing’ boring and chose instead to teach – and I became a bird trying to be a gopher.)
Knowing what I am is part of my search to actualize who/what I am.
And some of you may have been ‘dissing’ my posts asking yourself ‘Who the heck does he think he is, anyway!?’ The truth is, I do know, but have been inappropriate. Sorry.
Reminds me of a Chinese saying:
Those who tell, don’t know;
Those who know, don’t tell.
… implies one thing superficially. It might also mean:
Those who tell, don’t know the Law;
Those who know the Law, don’t tell.
I’m making the shift to the 2nd category… partly to save my neck, karmically.
My fault was telling others what I know to be ultimate truth; kinda like a college math major going to the 5th graders and trying to explain calculus when they haven’t even got arithmetic mastered, let alone Algebra.
Consider this:
Let's say we are all on a journey from Los Angeles to New York City. We all pick different routes and set off. Some on foot, some by bus, some in a car, and some by train (i.e., the journey of life and our personal growth). What I realize now is that a lot of the people with whom I have tried to share are in ARIZONA, maybe east of Flagstaff heading for Albuquerque. All they have seen is sand, rock, cactus and yucca. On the other hand, I have been thru AZ and am now in OHIO and am excited: I see green grass, rolling hills and trees whose leaves change color in the Fall. The people in AZ think I'm nuts. All they can hear is Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer or Neal Donald Walsh (who are all three in New Mexico – close to those in AZ) and these 3 men tell the people in AZ that the sand and rock change color from beige to red... the people can accept that -- whereas I and my information get rejected. At the same time, people in NYC are trying to tell me about skyscrapers and subways -- which I can't imagine.
So the question du jour is: What good does it do to tell AZ about Ohio or tell Ohio about NYC? Is it an ego trip? Telling people what’s ahead, and what’s really happening, tends to prejudice their actions in the now, and may suppress or suspend their freewill choice. Yes?
Innocently or deliberately messing others up appears to be what the Law of Freewill is cautioning against. Giving people info they are not yet ready for, or worse yet, giving them false information upon which they base important life decisions… generates karmic penalty. So what is the point? Proselytizing, prescribing, or predicting – which can all 3 affect others’ beliefs – tends to mess with others’ beliefs and can affect their spiritual growth negatively -- it can cause confusion, and delay their true growth. (And yes there is a Law of Confusion, too.)
There is nothing so tempting as to ‘wake people up’ and/or solve their problems for them! Rescue them! (Especially if you really can.) It is also tempting to tell them what’s really going on, about the PTB, the negs, the secret bases, who’s doing it and how. These are aspects of the same trap I spoke of earlier. It makes us Bringers of Enlightenment…. an ego trap.
Consider what the Q’uo had to say on freewill and their refusal to answer deep soul questions:
‘Whenever entities are attempting to serve and lend their aid, there is always the possibility of infringement upon free will…. we would rather leave to the freewill thinking of those who are interested in such riddles, for there is a line beyond which we may not move in giving information without infringing upon the free will of those to whom we speak, and in some cases, the free will of those about which we speak. For this we apologize, my brother.’
and again…
‘We cannot risk the infringement upon the free will of those who seek the mystery of their own being…’ [www.llresearch.org/transcripts, 12.19.05, 4.9.89]
Lastly, I believe it isn’t even about the data, or facts – on the other side we can know anything we want. What if it’s all about the quest for personal growth?
So if another seeker asks questions to which you know the answer(s), and you know that you know, what do you do? Each of us is perfectly capable of knowing the Truth; we are all equipped with a Higher Self, a subconscious, guides and inner ability to know the Truth when we see it. And we can choose to honor ourselves and others’ processes.
In Love, we help them focus, we facilitate THEM solving THEIR issue, their guides are there and are qualified and have the dominion (we don’t) to assist, so you support your friend’s process and watch the guides give insights and breakthroughs to your friend. Your friend may even have an emotional release which ‘instructing’ them would not have accomplished. This way, we honor their process and respect their ability to get in touch with what is really going on. The ‘teacher’ is a facilitator (as LipstickMystic said). Many times the person with the ‘problem’ just hasn’t gone deeply enough into the issue to reach their answer.
Send them Light, love them, facilitate their being whole and complete, pray for them, and be with them.
Let the good times roll. Namaste.
PS: Does anyone know what the C’s have to say on this issue?
