Topic: Being, Doing, and Having

I picked up a pretty simple book last summer called "Creative Visualization."  Most of the concepts were re-runs for me and I found the book oversimplified and incomplete.

But one section stood out for me: a section about being, doing, and having.

The authoress pointed out that most people live by working to have what they want so that they can do what they want to do and then can be who they want to be.

She suggests the reverse process of reality-creation: being what you want to be, then doing what you have to do, and then--if you still feel lacking--working to have what you want to have.

What makes the second method special is that it focuses upon quality rather than quantity.  Lower consciousnesses cannot see the utility of this approach because its focus is ethereal.

*Feritciva's article on "The Quality of Positive Side & The Quantity of Darkside" is apropos here.  (It's on the homepage for those of you who haven't seen it).

It occured to me that negative consciousness subsists through having, doing, and then being.  (And that truly positive-oriented consciousness places its emphasis upon being).

Another connection.

Another path to positive-oriented consciousness: think being instead having.

Instead of getting/having spiritual power so that we can do the work of resisting or escaping the MCS so that we can be happy, let's be happy so that we can survive the MCS more easily and find power-within.
