So You Want To Win the Lottery?

If we all got everything we wanted, most of us would have won the lottery by now. So what happens when we notice that we aren't getting what we want, even when we've been using Law of Attraction to manifest a particular desire for an extended period of time?

Wanting to win the lottery is a clear desire, therefore, you need to use Law of Attraction deliberately. If you're not getting evidence that your desire to win the lottery is manifesting, then you need to review the Law of Attraction formula and check to see if all three conditions for Deliberate Attraction are being met. All desires you may have, for example, attracting an ideal mate, an ideal client base, ideal health or an ideal abundance of money require these same three conditions.

Step 1: Clearly identify your desire
Step 2: Raise your vibration (Give Your Desire Attention)
Step 3: Allow it

So let's examine these three conditions with respect to manifesting a winning lottery ticket.

Step 1: Clearly identify your desire (You bought a ticket and you WANT to win.) Step 1 is done.

Step 2: Raise your vibration (You talk about and daydream about all the things you'll do with the money you win.) Step 2 is done.

If the only thing we needed to do is Step 1 and Step 2, most people would have everything they've ever become excited about. So as you observe that you've NOT attracted what you've been desiring (in this case, a winning lottery ticket), you'll need to check the three step process to find out what step needs your attention more often. In most cases it's Step 3 - Allowing.

Allowing is the absence of doubt. Doubt is a negative vibration that cancels out the positive vibration of your desire, so removing doubt will allow your desire to come to you. Removing doubt will speed up the manifestation of your desire.

One of the best tools for removing doubt is to start keeping a log or journal of all the ways in which you are attracting more abundance into your life, thus, you are finding proof! Abundance is simply energy and the more often you discover that you are aligned with the energy of abundance, the more often you will be removing doubt that you are Allowing your desire to win the lottery. For example, if you find money or someone buys you lunch or you find a great sale on an item you want to buy-this is all evidence that you are in alignment with abundance. Logging this evidence or tracking it in a journal will help you prove to yourself that you are aligning yourself more and more with abundance.

In short, how soon you'll win the lottery is determined by how much doubt you have about winning, and winning is all about removing that doubt thereby aligning yourself with the energy of abundance.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

I dunno, one hears so many negative things about winning the lottery, like it's some sort of curse. It seems like the majority of the winners waste all their money and then live lives of regret and misery. As my landlord who happens to be a savings enthusiast said to me, he would not wish winning the lottery on anyone, like it's a terrible thing. I'm a spendthrift though and would gleefully use it to go on a world tour. Cambodia and Dagestan, here I com!

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

Ahurani,
Got to watch that old program rearing it's ugly head in your mind.   The program that says "I'm just this little nobody, who's better off just keeping my head down and not doing much".

I'm not trying to insult you but help you to see limited thinking at it's best.   Especially when fear comes up around the lotto, money and fear go hand-in-hand in the old programs.   It's time we let all this go and embraced who we really are.

Reminds me a line from the movie The Matrix, when Trinity said to Neo...."The Matrix cannot tell you who you are"   I doubt Neo had any idea what that meant at the time, and that's probably where many are still taking their "cues" from in our reality too.

I wish I could tell you the magic words to break out of prison, but I guess realization of this might be the first step.

As for me, I only see lotto winners that are doing wonderful things, living incredible lives and glad they left their old selves behind.

I wish the lotto on everyone!    Everyone that can let all the fear, doubt and disbelief go.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

I'm not insulted, merely baffled. I fail to see how noting the fact that the majority of people who have won the lottery grossly mismanaged their money and then were more unhappier than previous to winning the money is adhering to the program. I think if anything, having no real desire to win the lotto is really becoming emancipated because materialism becomes less and less important to one. I used to fantasize occasionaly about winning the lottery like anyone but not anymore. Not because I'm enslaved to the program but because I honestly don't care and have no interest in putting any real time or energy into it. I see so many people who instead of living, pool lots of energy into the lottery, energy which in my humble opinion could be used on a worthier endeavor. I've tried to liberate myself from this desire to attain 'things' which yes, includes money and winning the lottery, at least to me. Pessimism is a negative thing but being pragmatic isn't, and practicality, although not always full of beauty, isn't itself necessarily a bad thing. I know people who have used the method quoted above in regards to winning the lottery, amongst other things and if it brings them fulfillment, more power to them, but I for one have chosen other things to commit myself to.

I know you didn't mean to offend me, so I hope you don't take offense at this for it's in no way my intent but I think that people (and by that I incude myself) need to be wary of assuming one is being controlled by the program or that one hasn't broken free when all they have to go on is a mere comment, for as we all know, comments can say very little and are often misinterpreted or even miscommunicated. I've read some comments off and on that I've had serious issues with but refrained from saying anything because I realized I didn't have enough to understand their real outlook and besides, it's all so subjective. What's one person's trash is another's treasure and all that jazz.

Having said all this, if you do every win the lottery, I will happily eat my words with a fork and cocktail sauce. wink

Pax.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

Ahurani,
Truthfully, I have intended to win the lotto, only using a quick phrase outloud, something like "I now intend to win the lotto" and have had small wins.   I have not hit the big one, but it was interesting to get results from just a simple act of intending.   So this can be accomplished alot easier than a person would think.

My point is, we have more power to control our reality than we can imagine.   It does not take alot of work to win something like this, just getting out of your own way to get it done.

But all this is just "talk" if you don't actually try it.  Montalk's article on intending is a good primer for this discussion.

If you've given up your desire for things like this, than I wish you all the happiness in the world.   It's all good.   We each choose our paths in life, may your's be filled with Joy!

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

What if 2 people, possessing 2 different numbered lottery tickets, have an equal amount of non-doubt about winning ?

Who would win the lottery ?

I do not think doubt can be measured, like on a scale.  And then again, when two people do win, they just split the lotto pot.   So there's never a problem.

Actually, I'm just messing with you.

I think the idea of having a positive attitude is a good idea.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

One question: How many times have you won ?

Please keep your shameless self promotion to yourself.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

How about instead of sitting back and waiting for fate to give you lots of money, you go out and do something productive?
We do have the power to create our own reality, it's called cause and effect.

Could not have said it better myself smile

Go out and get a real job instead of living off the naivety and hope of others.

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

This is not shameless self promotion...it's intending life the way we wish it to be!!   It's amazing me how you all miss this!!

Read Montalk's article on intending...... maybe everyone here disbelieves it??

This is had nothing to do with the lotto, I picked that since it was something that most think is impossible (limited thinking at it's best!).

It's also interesting to see how many here have such limited ideas about life such as:

"you have to work hard for your money"

"only through a job can the Universe get you some money"

Come on people... wake up!

I thought this group was better prepared for this.... geeze... you're letting me down!!

Re: So you want to win the Lottery?

Well I've not mastered this yet, the Intending and Requesting.  Though I fully believe it to be valid and can be very effective.

Even if I had mastered it now, there are probably other things I would Intend + Request rather than lottery or money.  But you make valid points, and they are well-received.

Thanks for posting this, its got me thinking about some things again, things I had put aside...

[edit:]
Wow, I skipped a couple posts above... after going back and reading them, I'm quite surprised as well to see people thinking in Matrix terms.  If you want to go get a job and work hard for the money, thats fine.  But theres also nothing wrong with intending + requesting it, even if you don't have a job.  So yes I'm shocked to see the "jailed" attitudes.  I suppose not everyone *wants* to escape the matrix limitations.
