Re: Channels with good reception

Hi,

Thanks for the posts - I would be interested to know what basis you have you used to qualify the information from these channeling sources as worthy of reading?

It is not just the quality of reception that is important. I mean we can all tune a top of the range Bang & Olufsen stereo into a poor quality radio station!

I note that the Bashar material is 15-30 dollars per channeling - so I see they are adopting a kind of licensing model for the information ie. produce it once and sell many times over.

Re: Channels with good reception

It's as if there are two main roads to channelings, and hence metaphysical paths to 'enlightenment'. The third road being rubbish.

The first road seems to be filled with the same -new-age- mentality, which Tom has told me over and over again. From Sananda, to Arch Angels, to Commanders of Spaceships, to the Nibiru Council, to some guy on the 27th Density...

Then the other road seems to be paved by way fewer sources that complement each other:

Cassiopaeans, Ra, Pleidians...etc.

The second road is the only path that actually makes full sense to me. They present a structure that follows the objectivity - subjectivity routine.

However, with reading the first road channelings, you can always take out some good information that they slip in with their half-truths, which you can add to your knowledge. I did this for the Thiaoouban Prophecy.

Re: Channels with good reception

Hi, and thanks for commenting.

The basis I use is simple.  I read the material, it feels right to me.  I resonate with it.  It offers me profound insight into reality in a simple to understand fluff-free format.  heh

Excellent analogy via Bang & Olufsen stereo  JT. Bad reception being incurred the further from the source you get.  Think about how a channelers fellings, emotions,
ego, beliefs can have an impact on the information being channeled. Or heres another analogy, in school we used to play a game where we would stand in a line, the teacher whispers a message to the first in line, who then whispers the message to the second, and so on until it gets to the last student, who then says the message outloud, then the teacher, then we all laugh because they are not even the same message.  Basically from what I know of information is that it is energy, and the shortest distance between to points is a straight line.  The idea being that a correct channel will be a conduit of least resistence from the source, a direct flow of energy that doesnt pick up the channelers perspective, beliefs, feelings(other forms of energy) along the way.

And remember, Im not saying you have to buy it, and I cant fault somebody for making a living. The Bashar site is inactive and his material seems hard to find , but compared to other channels it seems like a reasonable price.

As for metaphysical paths of enlightenment, my good " spook" friend Elias says it best:

Elias:
"Now; let me also express to you my friend, many, many, many individuals within your physical dimension align with a very strongly expressed belief that you manifest within this physical dimension to be learning, and therefore attaining to higher spiritual levels.

... And I may express to you quite definitely that there are NO LEVELS within consciousness, and this is not the point. You manifest within this particular physical dimension for it offers an extremely diverse expression of physical ability of exploration of consciousness. This is an extremely intricate and complex physical dimension.

As I have stated previously, this particular physical dimension is one of the most complex and diverse physical dimensions that is expressed within consciousness. Therefore, you incorporate manifestation within this physical dimension to offer yourself a tremendous variety of exploration in the physical aspect of consciousness, but you are not aspiring to or attaining levels of consciousness. This belief, in actuality, is inconsistent with consciousness itself, for you ARE consciousness. You are essence; therefore, you occupy all areas of consciousness. Therefore, what shall you attain to that you already do not incorporate?’’ [session 821, April 21, 2001"

Re: Channels with good reception

Hey rlha

I've been reading the Elias channelings in particular over the past few days and found them to be very insightful, so thanks for sharing the links. For some reason the Elias channel reminds me of the old Ra channelings. As for other channels with good reception, these are the ones that I've read and resonated with strongly. And I recommend to read them in the order listed:

Ra - the Law of One:
http://www.llresearch.org/main.htm and http://ascension2000.com/Ra-studyguide.htm

Barbara Marciniak's Pleiadians, especially "Bringers of the Dawn":
http://www.universe-people.com/bringers.htm

These first two are very basic, and depending on your knowledge you may just want to skim over them.

Cassiopaean transcripts:
The sessions are no longer on the Cass site except in excerpt form within articles. However someone has been kind enough to host the downloadable .exe at http://www.geocities.com/trixy3992/
You also might want to check out the Wave Series, which is linked on Montalk's main page.

Re: Channels with good reception

Thanks for sharing some cool channels to explore yourself. smile

Ive taken your advice and started reading the Ra transcripts first.
Very interesting...

Ra: "The identity of the vibration Ra is our identity. We as a group, or what you would call a social memory complex, made contact with a race of your planetary kind which you call Egyptians. Others from our density made contact at the same time in South America, and the so-called “lost cities“? were their attempts to contribute to the Law of One."

"When we were no longer able to have appropriate channels through which to enunciate the Law of One, we removed ourselves from the now hypocritical position which we had allowed ourselves to be placed in. Other myths, shall we say, having more to do with polarity and the things of your vibration that are complex, again took over in that particular society/complex."

Me: I've heard of this. .. in "earlier" societies there was more of a connection among individuals and objective reality.  Then there was shift in the direction of beliefs, and the concept of the unity of one was fragmented into many different parts and became the ideas as symbolized in gods and other mythic concepts.  In fact think of the Myth of Osiris here. A seperation from the source where you identify with the parts rather than the whole.  This was the beginning of what I term the dark ages.  Where masses of people identify with the source as being something other than themselves..

Ra: "That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define the infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity."

Me: The concept of the all The All That Is" includes all things. That is The Unity... that all things are part of the infinite.

Elias: "Non existence is full of all things that will never exist."

Bashar:   "  You exist.   If you exist now, your existence is eternal:
You have always existed and you always will exist.  You may change form,
but you are existing always .   So.....relax.....you'll be around forever.

Bashar: "The All is one, and the One is all.
Just as each tiny section of a hologram contains the information for the entire hologram, likewise we are all inter-connected.
Everything is truly just one totally-interconnected "thing".

again thank you, Im finding the perspective of what Ra is to be fascinating. Sure theres more to come smile

Re: Channels with good reception

I still think the Ra books are unequalled in terms of quality (or purity).
I bought Darryl Anka's "Bashar: Blueprint for a Change" and didn't think much of it at all. Not to mention that all the predictions in there fell through.

Being an occasional automatic writer myself I would be warning all the channelers to look into possible risks of this practice. From energy imbalance (identifying with the source's vibration and therefore altering your own dramatically), to dependency, glamour (in the A.A. Bailey's sense of the word), to forgetting to further you OWN development (which may well be different from the entity's after all), this could be called over-identification. I won't use the old P. word to avoid sounding like the local preacher.

I will repeat Buddha's words once again which I think we should all get tattooed somewhere:

PUT NO HEAD ABOVE YOUR OWN!

Re: Channels with good reception

...by glamour I meant: "Yes, I am the channel for the Brotherhood of Light and 9th density Sirius. Djwhal Khul's a really cool guy, you know!" etc. Yep...cosmic name dropping! (Hey, I have some great autographs to sell on a side note!)

Re: Channels with good reception

heh, how much?
I havent read any of Bashars books, only his site.  But at his sight there is audio, ... in the one about stock market crashes, he acknowledges that there are no predictions of the future, that there are only probable realities, but he still gave a stock market crash as being Jan. 5 2005.
He was telling the crowd a possibility.  It was taped in 98, I think.

mind posting any other predictions he offered that didnt happen?
