Topic: Types of Auras

I'm hoping this forum (N.R.) is the place to share this and ask questions regarding auras. I've had no luck in What the Bleep meetings and general discussions in metaphysical churches, and so I have wondered -- Am I the only one seeing these things?

I see several types of auras, or maybe they are aspects of the same aura... I'm looking for clarification. 

(1) I have a roommate who I think is an O.P. -- lies like a rug, steals, room is a mess as is his life,  destroys things around the house then denies it, creates accidents on the road to dump his cars that he is tired of-- he's looking for "chick magnet" vehicles, so he creates accidents to the left front of his car(s) so that it bends the frame and then he collects insurance and gets a 'better' vehicle... when I have tried to speak with him about any subject, he is good for about 2 sentences then goes blank, never asks questions, and most of all, he likes to start arguments so that I and/or the landlady get angry, thus 'feeding' him, and even if we 'win' the argument, we are drained and he goes on about his business as though nothing had happened.  I say all that to say that his aura seems to cycle on and off -- it is not there 100% of the time. He also has a bland kind of energy about him -- even if he's standing in fron to of me, it is like he isn't there.

What I see most of the time, by the way, is the 2-3" energy envelope around the head, shoulders and generally outlining most of the body. (I do not ususally see the larger, more colorful, bigger part of the aura.) Sometimes the 2-3" part has a slight color to it as well as differing shades of intensity.

In my roommate's case, it turns on and off... like it was AC current. I interpret this to be what the OPs have... because they are 'fed' from the Matrix 'grid'...?

(2) Then, sitting in the bookstore, I have seen another type -- usually with the 'energy envelope' mentioned above which is steadily on -- but there are like heat waves above their head -- kinda like you see on a hot Summer day on the road (without the 'water' illusion). Not everyone has these.
In addition, I sometimes see these 'heat waves' in some empty (stuffed) chairs in the cafe/bookstore -- which disappear just before someone comes over and and sits in the chair.

(3) Then, there is my "favorite" (not really) -- those who have no aura, and generally they have empty, 'flat' eyes -- I used to think (because of earlier reading of the Edgar Cayce stuff) that these people were about to die -- like the soul or spirit left 3 days before they actually depart (according to Cayce). Not so... I have seen these 'people' for weeks -- recurrent visitors at the bookstore. I'm tentatively calling them 'synthetics' ... anybody know what they really are? They are not friendly.

(4) And lastly, this person was leading our What the Bleep discussion group and from the front door (in another bookstore), I could see her and her aura from probably 30' away (very unusual for me to see that) -- big, white and kinda bright. I naturally saw this as a good thing, but she is very controlling, 'disses' mention of things that she doesn't like or understand (such as the Wave when we were talking about Quantum Physics and timelines)... so her aura does not jibe with what I would have expected:
I would have thought she was 'enlightened' but she seems to be working with the Powers That Be just to tickle people's ears with new concepts, but she does not really support people learning. (Maybe she is empowered from the lower 4th by an STS entity who is more developed -- but negatively?)

So there it is. I appreciate any/all feedback, suggestions or experiences that might help develop a context where a lot of this can be understood.

By the way, I did not see auras as a kid; I felt (and still do) sense energy -- am very sensitive to "atmospheres", etc... and the gal in #4 above has no particular energy or vibration about her. Unlike the OP in #1, her aura is constantly on.

Hey Zarg.  I think my experience with auric sight is similar to yours.  I generally, too, see a greyish-bluish envelope around people whenever I see auras.  And, less often, I see a swath of color over their head and around their shoulders.  Very seldom I see colorful, layered auras.  I know what you are talking about with heat waves over heads.  As a kid, I used to see whitish heatwaves above people in church all the time.  I think I saw them in church because I was sitting still for a long time (with nothing to do or think about smile ).

It isn't on constantly with me, but I can see it if I calm down and center and ground.  I notice I usually will see auras if I am talking deeply with a person who I like and resonate with and who might think of as a "spiritual" person. 

I haven't had the experience of the envelopes shutting on and off like an electric current, but I do lose focus of them and then regain focus of them.  Maybe they are actually wavering or flicking on and off.

I definitely HAVE had the experience of the "flat" aura and flat eyes.  What I usually see is a dim cloud over a person's forehead.  For some reason, I see this with 50+ people the most.  I don't recall ever seeing it in a young person.  (And I frequently notice a lightness in some people's eyes that isn't the norm.  Though, honestly, sometimes the lightness freaks me out--like it's alien).   

I do have a person in my life right now that I suspect is an OP.  I've been thinking it over for a long time.  I will be resigned to dealing with him as an OP and then he'll do or say something that will suggest a heart. 

He follows, I think, the same pattern as your roommate.  He will intentionally rile people, go out of his way and enjoy it, and then will walk away from arguments seemingly in a better mood and not a worse one. 

As I ponder whether he is or not, I've decided to treat him like he is.  Whether he's a genuine OP or not, he certainly does feast on others' energy.

Once, when he was approaching me, from around the corner, I felt him plug into my solar plexus.  I felt an energy cord stick me like somebody puffed right in front of my stomach. 

His aura feels "stormy" to me more than anything else; sometimes it literally feels like a tornado in slow-motion.  My crown, and third eye, starts to painfully prickle sometimes when he's around.

My number one coping stragegy--at least with him--is limiting my association with him and/or answering his silences (to my spiritual talk) with silences to his provocations.

I'm going to watch for the on/off phenomenon.

Exactly, yes -- I have had the 'attack' on my solar plexus, too... not from the OP in my life, but at awkward times when I am with difficult people... I have found that white lighting myself, or putting my hand/palm over my solar plexus does protect from 'energy vampires'. In one case, I found that imagining a highly reflective mirror between me and a nasty boss resulted in her becoming sick and never harassing me again (she took other avenues until I quit).

Thanks for the input on the heat waves -- what I wonder is if they signify thinking, emotional states, or could it be the chakra supposedly 2' above the top of the head?  And what about them in an empty chair? Maybe these are presences or beings who are lower 4th D...?

And the other nite, surfing the satellite network on TV, looking for something redeeming, I surfed up into the 360's and found a woman preacher who is fairly well-known, blonde, about 30-40  and what gave me the creeps were her eyes -- solid black, no life to them. I felt like I was was looking into the eyes of a snake... And she's talking about serving people... what? For dinner?  Anyway, I wish I could detect the aura thing over the TV, but that doesn't transmit.

Have you, or others, ever seen auras around objects? (I feel energy from things but I don't see it around objects...)  Has anyone seen auras around animals?

Related, when I was studying QiGong and chi in general, in Spring I'd go out into the park and defocus my eyes into the sky area between major parts of a tree and watch the chi fly back and forth -- and for the first 2 weeks of trees budding and springing back to life, the trees actually had a kind of aura around them -- very white, clean energy. Not there in Fall, but I love trees and in QiGong we were taught how to approach a tree and sense its energy and get energized from the tree (after asking it).

Sounds weird, I know, but maybe that's what the Druids were doing spending all that time in the woods... using that enegy to heal people?

Yeah, I've seen auras around the two cats in my care in the last year.  It was greenish with the first, and more whitish with the second. 

And I have seen an aura around my plants, too.  And I see many different colors around trees, although a bright green or rust-brown/rust-red is the most common.  I haven't noticed a difference with the seasons.  But, to be honest, I haven't gotten outside much this winter since I'm working two jobs.

I have specifically asked trees to help me ground or help me in healing, and have palpably felt a difference in my aura.

I remember the first time I felt energy in a tree: I had to have been about sixteen.  I was walking home from school with a friend, and there were these huge, ancient elder trees along my route home.  I put my hand on it to climb it and I felt a rushing underneath my hand.  It was as if I was feeling a swift stream moving upwards under my palm.  I played around the tree for a few minutes and could feel it the whole time, though my friend could not feel it.  The next day I returned and couldn't feel it as strongly, but could still feel it faintly.

Some trees are awesome, powerful beings in their own right.  I've asked them for help many times.
