Re: Complete health.

Imhotep7,
Its great to hear that you are sticking with this. I took the oil daily for 2 years and the benifits to my over-all health have been marvellous. Don't expect over-night type results, the effect is subtle and lasting. I don't need to take the oil anymore, well maybe just occasionally I buy a bottle but I find that after just a couple of  days the oil no longer turns white meaning there is nothing being excreted. My body is now able to take care of itself which is a real blessing. I can honestly say that I have never been so healthy (I am 55) or active. I would suggest you persevere as I did until the oil no longer turns white after 15 - 20 minutes of 'swishing'.
Good luck, Red.

Does anyone know why there's so many embryos in your body? You do it everyday and there's still so many.

Re: Complete health.

I have been doing this for about three months now.  I started with sunflower oil, and went through a whole bottle.

I have a history of persistent periodontal problems, and I have had periodontal surgery.  Every time I go to have my teeth cleaned the hygenist lectures me that I need to do more of this or that.

Well, that was until my last visit.  She was simply speechless.  She said to keep doing whatever it is I'm doing, and that it is hard for her to believe I had periodontal disease.  She asked what I was doing, and I told her.  She told the dentist!

Then I started on a bottle of cold-pressed peanut oil -- I know it was not the recommended kind, but it was delicious!  Anyway, don't try this because I ended up with gum infections.  So I mistakenly got Safflower, not sunflower oil, thinking that was the right kind, and my condition has improved but is not what it was before.

So tomorrow I'm off to the health food store for sunflower oil!

Thank you so much everyone for this thread -- it's helped immensely!

Re: Complete health.

Hello all,
Quick update on the oil swishing. Even after two weeks, I seem to not be nearly as much bothered by fibromyalgia...although it will take much longer to truly determine if its the oil -- or just one of those times I have no problem with it...because I am not nearly as troubled my this malady as some people I know who are much younger.
Here is something kinda amusing, and thought I would share it. I have a calico cat named Rowan who is definately the pickiest eater of a cat I have EVER known...raw beef, chopped up fine, (don't even THINK hamburger!) cooked chicken, occasional raw liver, and a little bit of Pet Promise dry(a health food type cat food).
I had a little left over sunflower oil I had poured in a bowl after I applied some to my skin...and thought...hmmm...wonder if Rowan would like this.
I just put it beside her water bowl and by morning it was GONE... smile So, she can help me with this WAY too big bottle of sunflower oil I purchased! Rowan has had dry skin (we live in Colorado) so I'm expecting this will take care of the sometimes-itchy-skin. Just thought I'd share. Hope everyone is about to have a great weekend.

Re: Complete health.

hmm my mum has cancer - do you think this will help her?

Re: Complete health.

Hi Azriel,
How I wish I could give you a definate YES answer. My own mother died of cancer. She relied on 'regular medicine' and believing all of it was 'god's will.' I am not judging or criticizing her...its just 'all she knew to do.'
I believe it would help your mother if she were open to any kind of alternative healing. I completely believe that we Create Our Own Reality ... gone through many religions and some weird 'stuff' but finally become acquainted with metaphysics. smile I don't mean 'my way is the right way' for anyone else but me, so I don't want anyone to take offense...please.
It's my own personal belief each person innately has the inner power to heal themselves, and that Nature supports us and offers us a lot of 'help' along the way if we WANT Her to do so. I think the AMA is good for emergency medicine. But it always comes down to our BELIEFS...meaning our inner ideas about reality (not religion!) and how we view what we are all about. I think it would make your mum feel good that you care enough to offer her alternative ideas.
I wish you love and all good wishes... both you and your mum.

Re: Complete health.

Hi Imhotep7, thanks very much for your thoughtful and compassionate response - I think i might get ger to give the oil swishing a go, certainly cant hurt xx

Re: Complete health.

Hi,
Thanks to everyone for all of this wonderful information.  Just started the oil swishing this week.  Teeth seem whiter, will post any other changes that occur.
Am wondering if the oil swishing will cause any changes or problems to existing crowns, root canals, etc.  Please post if you have info. on this.

Re: Complete health.

Good! Glad to see this thread is alive and well! I have been doing the swishing now for over a month...the 'definate' thing I can report is this: A couple of years ago I had to have badly broken tooth 'built up' ...not a crown...and that tooth would really ache so often...like a nueralgia. Since I've been using the oil I have not had one single episode of this happening.
For a day or so last week I entertained the notion that I would quit doing this business because I came down with TWO colds in less than a month...and hadn't had a cold for over 25 years. (no joke! smile ) But then decided this COULD be a 'cleansing action' (although I still glare at the chemtrails from time to time roll  )
I think I am also finding out more about myself: how willing am I to become dedicated to a project, etc... what does this say about my beliefs about health, etc..
I 'believe' that I have less fibromyalgia since doing this... I am just keeping an open mind, BELIEVING it will do me some good. And, that's about that!  smile

Re: Complete health.

I just wanted to post an update -- My results deteriorated on peanut oil and then safflower oil.  I went on sesame oil, one of the recommended types, and now I'm back to clean as a whistle!  It does matter what type of oil is used.

Re: Complete health.

I've been taking the oil for about a month.  I see benefits already so I'm going to keep it up.

Re: Complete health.

The Dr. recommends unrefined solely because he believes refined contains the pesticides used on the crops.  However cold-pressed ORGANIC sunflower oil does not contain any of these.  So I believe it to be ideal as its in its most natural state smile

I've just started.  After I finish swishing and spit out the oil, it absolutely STINKS, its so foul smelling it makes me sick.eww.  I must have a lot of toxins :S

Re: Complete health.

Hi fourplay,
My daughter switched to organic sunflower oil...its all that was available at the time when her husband just bought it! smile Anyway, she believes it feels like it has a stronger action. It's what I'll use next after I'm finished with this bottle. Right now I'm using Hains. My cat likes the Hains...wonder if she'll go for the organic! smile LOL.

Re: Complete health.

Just want to say how much I've appreciated this thread and everybody that contributed to it. No arguing. No trying to 'top' someone else. Just a nice helpful thread that I've really liked.
For the most part, however, forums are just not for me, so hopefully I can unsubscribe. I want to wish everyone on this thread the very best of everything. Take care, nice people.
