Topic: Dreams of Clear Clarity

I wasn't sure where to post this....

Not too long ago I had this strange dream. In it I fell in love with someone, which in itsel isn't very common in my dreams but not a shocker or anything. The image of this person is unusually vivid though, I can remember things about said person I never do after waking up from a dream. Anyway, getting to the strange part, in the dream the words "clear" and "clarity" (redundant, I know) kept coming to my mind, over and over, like I was being given a message. I mean, the way it hit my mind, it's obvious I was being told something.

The dream's rather fuzzy now but I was somehow made to know that these two words had something to do with a blog that this person I fell in love with ran. It was as if these words would lead me to the person I'm meant to be in love with, the person in the dream. I've never had a dream with a message that clear and direct before. I'm pretty skeptical by nature, but the dream was so obviously telling me something that I actually went on line and did a search looking for blogs with these two words as keywords. I found several but don't know what, if anything, I'm supposed to read into them.

I've never put much credence in my dreams but this was different. Anyone ever had an experience like this? I wish I could decipher the message.

Good luck in your quest. Maybe the name "Claire?"

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

Here are some definitions of clear and clarity which may provide more insight into your dream, Ahurani.
When I was going through an intense awakening process, I noticed that some people's faces appeared "fuzzy" or unfocused (to me) and some people's appeared remarkably "clear" and sharply focused. I Believe that this was my true self's way of showing me who would be beneficial for me to interact with at the time. Sometimes what appears as some type of hallucination is the mind's way of bypassing psychological defence systems to give someone a "clear" message or insight.

clar ·i ·ty (klăr'Ä-tÄ“) pronunciation
n.

   1. Clearness of appearance: the clarity of the mountain air.
   2. Clearness of thought or style; lucidity: writes with clarity and perception.

clear (klîr) pronunciation
adj., clear ·er, clear ·est.

   1. Free from clouds, mist, or haze: a clear day.
   2. Not obscured or darkened; bright: clear daylight; a clear yellow.
   3. Easily seen through; transparent: clear water.
   4. Free from flaw, blemish, or impurity: a clear, perfect diamond; a clear record with the police.
   5. Free from impediment, obstruction, or hindrance; open: a clear view; a clear path to victory.
   6. Plain or evident to the mind; unmistakable: a clear case of cheating.
   7. Easily perceptible to the eye or ear; distinct.
   8. Discerning or perceiving easily; keen: a clear mind.
   9. Free from doubt or confusion; certain.
  10. Free from qualification or limitation; absolute: a clear winner.
  11. Free from guilt; untroubled: a clear conscience.
  12. Having been freed from contact, proximity, or connection: At last we were clear of the danger. The ship was clear of the reef.
  13. Free from charges or deductions; net: a clear profit.
  14. Containing nothing.

I am NOT a scientologist. This definition is interesting however.

Scientologists believe a person's conciousness is influenced by the involuntary responses of the reactive mind. Achieving the state of Clear signifies a person has overcome the reactive mind and is in complete command of their mind. The Church of Scientology defines it thus:

A Clear is a being who no longer has his own reactive mind, and therefore suffers none of the ill effects the reactive mind can cause. The Clear has no engrams which, when restimulated, throw out the correctness of his computations by entering hidden and false data.

Perhaps your dream lover is not an actual person, but a specific type of person. Just something to consider.
Peace, seemefly

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

The name "Crystal" also comes to mind.

Sometimes I think we make dreams for complex than they really need to be.  Perhaps you simply met your future partner in another realm.

It is not for us to understand love, but simply to make space for it.

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

Thanks for the suggestions, alushe and tenetnosce. I don't think it's a girl name though for one vital reason. Are there any guy names that denote the word clarity I wonder?

You made some very interesting points, seemefly. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post. I like your suggestion that it might represent a type of person, not an actual person. The person in my dream, though not what I think of as my physical type, was in many aspects my dream lover, no pun intended. Of course, I don't really subscribe to limiting myself to only people with a certain color of hair or eyes, etc. and overall view this as being quite insignificant, so by saying that my dream lover wasn't my physical type, I guess what I mean is that in 'real' life I've never been attracted to someone that bears resemblance to said person, not that my dream lover was in any way icky though.

The whole possibility that I may have met my future partner as you suggest tenetnosce is terribly romantic, like something one would read about in a Daphne DuMaurier novel smile

So, the morning I woke up from the dream, I did a search for blogs containing the words "clear" and "clarity", as I mentioned, and I found a blog for this person who drives a motorcycle all over Latin America, kind of like Gael Garcia Bernal in The Motorcycle Diaries. I was intrigued, because I love travel and people who are culturally aware. I even thought about dropping this person a line, just so I'd know I followed through on the dream message, even if in vain, but didn't because I didn't want to come across as insane which is likely how most would take such a letter: "Hi, I had a dream wherein the words "clear" and "clarity" featured prominently and I felt an urge to locate web blogs with said words in them, looking for my soul mate. Are you the one?" wink

It's a possibility that I am overanalyzing this, but like I said, I've never had a dream that contained such a clear (there's that word again!), insistent message.

I have a male friend named "Clare (sp?) Starr" (meaning "Clear Star") and a male cousin named "Clarence" (meaning "Clearance"). Just ideas......
However, something to consider, as a representation to your individual consciousness, maybe you were only being encouraged to integrate the male energy bringing everything to balance or "clarity". Unifying, or falling in love with, the male and thereby balancing the female. I don't know, but sometimes we have a tendency to relate messages from 4d into 3d and losing the pure symbolic meaning. But, only you know for sure what was being referred to. When I think of computers in dreamtime terms, I think of human consciouness, and blogs being a collective exchange of knowledge and information in the realm of consciouness.
To add or "clarify";) :
Maybe you are to go online (tap into the collective higher mind), search the blog (share knowledge with others), using the keyword "clear" or "clarity" (with the intention of clarity), bringing you to the other half of your self, your male self (the one running the blog, where you will find what you are looking for) and fall in love (unity being love). Does this make sense?

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

Hi Thook (love your name--reminds me of a creature in a Dr. Seuss book)

Thanks for your comments. Yes, your idea does make sense. I think in some ways I really do need to get in touch with my male side. Jeez, is it that obvious I'm female? I was trying not to be obvious about it hmm

Anyway, I think your idea is valid and as sensible as all the other responses people have been kind enough to post. Funny that I had totally forgotten about the name Clarence smile

What challenges me the most concerning your comment is how to come into contact with this proposed blog writer who will bring balance to my male side. Do you think that maybe the dream was just a dream afterall? I'd kind of like to think that as it's the lazy way out but once again, the intensity of the message won't let me. Something interesting, in the dream the guy was blond, which I find to be interesting as blond hair being 'light' kinda ties in with the theme of clarity and clearness. One of the strangest things about the dream was how I met him: I was supposed to go to some prom sort of event (shudder) and didn't have a date so someone who was supposed to be a friend in the dream introduced me to this guy (we'll call him Clarence, shall we?) and at first I was upset with my friend for hooking me up on a pity date. I noticed he was about 6-9 years older than me (in no way old) and came to discover he was extremely intelligent and a very eloquent writer. Not sure how I knew this last part but I have a fuzzy memory of reading a letter he wrote me in the dream and being impressed.

Anyway, I recall we fell in love, not a Gone With the Wind type falling in love full of sultry looks and dramatic scenes wherein I swooned in his arms, but a beautiful, lovely love nonetheless. IMy dream self was somewhat surprised because it was like I had found the one capable of brining me rue happines in a form I never would have guessed at (being blond and all, plus not having been actively seeking him). Actually, now that I think of it, the gist I got when first waking up from the dream was that HE was the blogger and his blog name was Clear Clarity and that I would find him in 'real' life by using those words. I don't think the dream was some sappy episode about finding prince charming, but I'm not ruling out the love and finding the 'one' spin either. I think I need to find a dream therapist or something. tongue

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

Thanks! I take it from a Bashar channeling (channeler Daryl Anka) that I listened to years ago. "The Thook", as is described, is a race of beings in which when one is in their presence knows everything about them. Their appearance, qualities, etc., but when out of their presence one cannot remember anything about them other than having been in their presence. I also gave the name to our African Grey parrot who is quite forthcoming in her telepathic nature.
That is the paradoxic nature of love. It can come when you aren't looking and in a way you don't expect. Love lives outside the box. It can't be contained.
But, anyway, sounds like you have some possible web searching to do! wink Just keep in mind, there truly is nothing you need that you don't already contain. Someone can only mirror that, not "be it" for you. But, maybe you already know that! smile

Clear Clarity
Clarity Clear
Clarity is a rarity
Clear is dear
When I have Clarity, I'm full of Charity
When I am Clear, I've nothing to fear

Ahurani, You've started something in me with your post, I can't get it off my mind!

So true, Thook! That's such a profound yet simple concept. I think that so often where romantic relationships are involved people think that they cannot be whole or complete without another. Piffle, I say! It reminds me of Heathcliff and Cathy from Wuthering Heights. Heathcliff embodies the one who cannot be complete without another and Cathy the opposite. Yeah, she dies supposedly because she could not be united with him, but I don't buy this theory. She was too selfish, too consumed with herself to feel incomplete without him. Love is such a mad thing. I know of nothing else that can throw one into a sea of despair and agony and then lift one up into an etheral attar of rose scented paradise.

Re: Dreams of Clear Clarity

Ahurani..........Iam only new to NR forum so I hope you don't mind if I comment but  I think that your your really lucid  dream is something like your higher  self trying to connect with  you. I might be totally wrong  but I feel that your Soul Mate te is something like  your higher self in 3D reality. Someone that, as thook says,  can only mirror  not be for you. Your higher self may be, in 3 d reality, male or female, look nothing like  you, maybe completely unlike you, even from another culture.........

sorry about the spelling, not Soul Mate te, I meant Soul Mate.

Quite possible. Often when I have a question in my mind, someone in this forum will post something which is extremely helpful to my finding the answer. We really are more connected than we realize sometimes.

Hi whitewater,

Of course I don't mind your posting, your comments are most welcome!

I think what you wrote is entirely sensible and just as possible as anyone else's idea. I like the thought of one's soul mate being like one's higher self. Thanks for pointing that out!
