Topic: dream that felt so real with a mirror portal

My dream happened in the daytime while I took a nap.  In the dream I look into my mirror where I look older...like 10 years older and the mirror starts to ripple.  I put my arm through and in amazement and I am able to do it all the time so I decide to go through the mirror and into a black vortex but I do not go all the way through because I am afraid I would not be able to get out.  But I am able to do this at will and I finally wake up with my dog barking at me and I feel as if I surge of sort of energy just going through my body for like 10seconds and the feeling goes away.....Just wanted to share because it felt so real and have been looking at my mirror all day!:)

Cool!  Do you think if it happens again you'll take the chance?

Re: dream that felt so real with a mirror portal

Several of my friends have reported seeing themselves rapidly age when looking in mirrors under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms.
I've seen this myself, but not whilst tripping. My appearance in the mirror distorts, starts twitching it's head left and right and takes on a sinister guise. I've also had an experience where spirals, like wisps of smoke, were coming off my reflection's head.

Alushe. I took have seen spirals coming off my reflectin's head. It looked to me look entities moving in and out of my body. I also see tons of strange green symbols kind of like the ones in the matrix as well as people's auras. Also, when I stare straight I start seeing people in the corner of my eyes. Its almost like looking into a whole new world.

If I have this dream again I would go all the way through but it just felt so freaken real that I was scared I would not get back...The age process I saw in the mirror was very ackward almost as if my older self was sending a message

The dog barking at you is of particular interest to me.  This makes me think it may not have been just a dream, afterall.  Perhaps something was really happening with you...

I once had a weird dream where I woke up and my dog was barking madly.  I was young, about 7-8?  And I was very sick from an infection, I should really have been in the hospital at the time.  Anyway the dream was one of levitation, and I could actually *feel* the ceiling as if it were real.  And when I woke up, my dog was right outside my door throwing quite a fit.  So I also feel that perhaps this was also "real" and not just a dream.

It is quite interesting how animals pick up on our energy waves and things of that nature.

Yes. The dog. Like Risen, an important point I also think. They are very sentient, sensitve, emotional beings. Protective of those they love as well.

Stuart Wilde in his steps to Infinite Self, says a good experiment is to light a candle, and look in the mirror - just stare at your throat or chin (can't remember which).  Anyways, he says you'll see all sorts of distortions and shadow-type things come out if you do this for a while.  Haven't tried it yet, would be interesting to give it a go by the sounds of it.

Stuart Wilde...I have visited his site but not yet really explored it well. There is so much out there to learn (and/or remember!). But a good reminder to visit there again. Last time I checked it the pages looked VERY interesting.
