Maybe the fields of these Source events are gravity fields. Gravity in physics is just a curvature of spacetime and a force of attraction, but as the Ra material and C's commented, there is more to gravity than this. There appears to be a "spiritual" gravity as well.

The physics version of gravity pulls along the direction of a linear timeline, pulling an object here/now toward there/then -- all this happens in our space, in our perception of linear time

But timelines are not singular - they branch with every possible choice.  So what about a force that biases these choices, causing attraction or repulsion between timelines rather than along them? Perhaps that's another type of gravity, and since it works upon choice (freewill) rather than consequence (determinism, same as physics processes)  it is a type of gravity more associated with consciousness. Maybe this is what the Ra material called "spiritual gravity".

This greater type of gravity, since it works beyond our linear timeline, would also probably work beyond our limitations of linear time -- meaning it attracts both forward and backwards in time as we perceive it. Thus an event in the future will emit a gravity field that we would encounter before the event happens. Maybe this is how synchronicities work - the archetypal nature of the event attracts to it resonant elements from reality which thereby manifest as a precursor synchronicity. Heavy stuff smile

Yeah, just recently I flipped back in my sketchbook and looked at the dates of when I was pondering certain ideas. What I estimated as having happened two months ago turned out to be only two weeks. So it seems that for me at least (and I'm thinking many many others) - more lessons are being crammed into lesser amount of linear time. I guess if you keep going with this, then you reach a limit where in a single moment of linear time (zero span of time) you receive the biggest lessons of all (illumination). That's along the lines of the C's quote you posted.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: The speeding up of time...

I'm also noticing the acceleration. I seem to have learnt more in the past 3 weeks than in the previous 3 months, and more in these 3 months than in the previous 3 years. And so on. It's a very subjective feeling so of course difficult to explain.

My theory is that, as we are transitionning into 4D, we get a better and better picture of probable futures (and probable pasts, after some brain twisting) and thus we have the ability to make better choices and accelerate our evolution. Lately I've found myself in situations which could easily have lasted months but I was able to understanding the lessons faster, make a choice and increase my vibration, which led to even more lessons.

Also, in Bringers of the Dawn, they talk about the multidimensional merge of our self. I don't know if this is related but I've noticed that I meet more and more people who seem to be "like me" (in a bizarre way) but who took different paths (neither good or bad, just different). Actually I don't think they are like me but they reflect a part of me. By understanding their point of view, I can better understand my past choices and thus my current situation. Maybe this is related with the idea of probable pasts mentionned above?

Re: The speeding up of time...

I'm feeling the same, everything seems fast foward.
came across http://educate-yourself.org/mw/message18jun04.shtml about time acceleration and dna changing from the double strand helix into three.

Re: The speeding up of time...

ahh! just worked up the strand to aaronfirebrand, there is always somebody one step ahead, which is fortunate for me because I wouldn't have a clue where to go otherwise smile

The whole change of your dna into a triple helix allows psychic abilities like telepathy which in a way ermolai unifies your 4D theory, not only will you learn lessons faster, there will be less disease, less money grabbing, and with any luck we should as bill hicks once said, 'learn, evolve and get the f*%$ off this planet'

Re: The speeding up of time...

some very creative perspectives from all of you...
Major brain firing today as I assimilate all your thoughts /energy.

I would like to interject more info specifically relating to what exactly is occuring during our particular source event...

ELIAS: ‘‘As to your action within this shift in consciousness, you draw yourselves to this forum to acquire information. In this I shall be offering of information as we continue, and I shall be allowing of your questioning. Your intent within this focus includes an aspect of lending energy to the action of this shift and the accomplishment of the insertion of probabilities into this particular reality outside of the probabilities of trauma. Therefore, your lending action is to be offering energy to be lessening the trauma in the action of this shift. Many individuals shall be experiencing trauma in relation to this shift in consciousness. They shall experience much less trauma as they are holding information to be explaining to them what they are experiencing.’’ [session 270, March 19, 1998]

ELIAS: ‘‘You seek now, within the action of this shift, a new consciousness; to widen your awareness and to hold an objective understanding of HOW you create your reality. You DO create your reality, but much of that doing is veiled from you. You do not allow yourselves, within your singularity of attention, the viewing of how you are creating your reality within the creation of your line of probabilities in every action that you choose. This is the action of this shift, to be objectively aware of your creation of your reality, and therefore allowing you a fuller expression of your creativity and more of free movement through consciousness.’’ [ session 275, April 23, 1998]

ELIAS: ‘‘This shift in consciousness began at the turn of this present century and has been building throughout this century. You approach your new century and the beginning of your new millennium, and within this coming century, approximately within its three-quarter mark, this shift in consciousness shall be accomplished in its fullness, and your reality shall be very different than what you view presently. ALL of your reality shall be different.’’ [ session 284, May 30, 1998]

‘‘But this is the point. This is the reason that you are experiencing all of these elements and opening your awareness, in like manner to all of these other individuals. You are all experiencing this action of this shift, and this is the point that you are speaking to me, for all of you have asked. You are requesting explanations for the experiences that you are creating, for the belief systems that you have created are so very strong that they blind you to your experiences and to the explanations of why you are creating certain experiences. This is what you are creating in this shift in consciousness – an opening of your awareness, a dropping of all of these veils within consciousness, a remembrance that there is no separation. All is interconnected. You are not individually separated. You are all interconnected. You are not separated by time or space or dimensions. These are perceptions. You are interconnected with all of consciousness.

‘‘You are also bored in the experiences that you have created to this point. You have experienced. You have created in the manner that you have designed previously. Now you choose to be creating in an expanded experience, allowing more of your awareness, more of an opening to consciousness, more of your own creativity and your own abilities, and you are discovering that your abilities are within physical focus limitless. You have merely limited yourselves as an element of your beliefs, but as you are also moving into acceptance of your beliefs, you are widening your awareness and you are allowing yourselves to view how many more abilities you hold and how very creative you are, and not creating your limitations with such severity. Those elements in your reality that have been thought to be impossible are not impossible!’’ [session 385, April 18, 1999]

ELIAS: ‘‘Holding the remembrance and acceptance of belief systems are two of the base elements of this shift in consciousness, which allows you to open and widen your awareness, which subsequently allows you to be accomplishing your creativity more fully and realizing your abilities more fully.’’ [session 390, May 01, 1999]

ELIAS: ‘‘Now; within the action of this shift, I express to you that your experiences that you create presently hold a different type of purposefulness, for you move within a particular, specific direction within the action of this shift in consciousness, and that is to be addressing to self and belief systems, and to be neutralizing the affectingness of belief systems by the acceptance of these belief systems, and to be accepting and trusting of self, moving your attention out of the expression of looking to all other individuals or essences or gods or any other expression of guiding forces, so to speak, and turning your attention to the trust and acceptance of self that shall provide you with all and more of what you have provided yourselves with previously in looking to outside of yourselves.’’ [session 410, June 04, 1999]

Re: The speeding up of time...

WO HOO!!!!

OK - cant even contain it for a few moments to finish reading the thread:

"Picture if you can all the probable timelines of our reality, in two dimenions, as an infinte number of lines running parallel. A Primary or Source event is then represented by a perpendilur line that intersects every probability, so that every reality experiences it in some way.

Now, these Source events also have something like a gravity field. As one gets closer to the event, one reaches an event horizon where the event is unavoidable. So just as gravity bends light, it also bends TIME. Thus time gets DENSER as it gets closer to the event. Yes it is sort of like "collapsing", but not really folding, just getting denser. Have you all noticed that the past two years have actually seemed like ten? I'm betting A LOT has changed in all your lives in the past couple years. This is because, while time gets denser, more changes and events occur more quickly within consciousness.

This is EXACTLY what it is! but on more levels that we at first glimpse. I ahve had this image in my head for about 20 years - but on a different "genre".

As I have stated in the past - I study martial arts, and have for some time. I have done a lot of energy work - and this is how I have described and imagined the actual internetwork of soul energy and spirit-conscious in general on so many occasions.

The intersections are more than events, they are nexuses of conscious. The positive or negative position of the intersection on the grid is based on the level of awareness of the consciousness - this has a warping affect on the other intersections (consciousnesses) around them. The higher a being - the more positive affect they have on the grid in the Z axis... the darker, the more negative in the Z.

But, as above so below - the image directly corresponds to time, gravity, magnetism, knowledge - because all forces are one in that they all are based on PRINCIPAL. They principal being that all that is, is a direct result and function on all else that is. Infinite possibility in one single expression.

now here is where it gets really fun, when seeker related the vertical vision of the affect on the grid, lets apply some more subtle and powerful variables to the model. Freewill, and intention and love.

if we imagine that each mind - or awareness of self, regardless of it being contained within a body - human or otherwise, is an intersection on the grid - and that the lines that make the grid are threads of light - the color, flexibility and solidity and distance from one another can each be assigned a value based on the control factors.

The color of the intersection could be said to be of an emotional tint, love being white and the highest - this affects all other values, and is affected by all other values - or maybe we should call them virtues....

The flexibility of the intersection (how easily it can change its vertical z axis orientation) can be a function of experience - or more directly the number of other intersections it is connected to, as all the other intersections can be connectied to any and or all others. This can also transport, or allow the intersection to appear in more than one location.

The solidity of the intersections make-up threads - can be based on personality... how heavily the mind latches onto the concepts, or other intersecting ideas and experiences around it... this obviously reduces the flexibility - or how easily it can be influenced (which is a paradoxical irony in that it is a direct result of the influence of the quality of info that the intersection obtained) - which is why we can equate this to personality... as it is subjective - and easily fear based... but this is not a rule.

Distance can be an indication of the commonality of consciouss that the intersection may have with its neighbors... so even though the threads that intersect share certain things in common - aside from just being expressions of conscioussness, there are certain "filters" or dimensions that can be applied to see the qualities of commonality that intersections share.

The model of the grid is one of the easiest to envision and communicate when talking about the complexities of mind existence.

I also hope to actually provide visual depictions of what I describe here sometime soon.... anyway - now let me go read the rest of the thread now that I have that off my lobes....

Montalk, that Spiritual gravity as you call would be intention from my perspective. Intention is the Thrust behind the thoughts... it has so many affects on the grid that is the interconnected mind... it is a virtue of freewill in that it is freewill which allows us to choose what our direction to move our conscious intersection is....

I repost my Haiku on Intention as it seems appropo:

Its like a funnel,
Pouring energy down, through
to experience.

Formlessness to form
through ones mindfull willingness.
Intent creates all.

Giving thanks allows,
for one to keep on flowing -
a natural state.

Looking deep within,
for only movement exists.
Still - is illusion.

Re: The speeding up of time...

The 'spiritual-gravity' that is driven by 'intent' is what I meant by the spiraling tunnel; existing within the body of time. The stream is pulling towards intersections, source-events, and so even though we cannot travel backwards through the tunnel, we have the ability to discern in the direction of our choosing. You don't just travel straight to. You spin around the walls of the tunnel like an ant being flushed down the toilet.

That is the effect that spirals us through time. You have to try to picture it, visualize it, to understand it.

Re: The speeding up of time...

I'll tell you what... not even for a second did I imagine this thread would have blossomed the way it has, and I couldn't be happier.  There is some awesome information expressed here in ways I personally don't feel qualified... hmmm, it's not that I don't understand what has been written "through and through", but my voice is one that any longer only speaks comfortably from an experiential place.  And, in the past, not so comfortably have spoken from.  I thank the powers that be that we have a place to discuss the concept of time openly and honestly.....

Once in a large auditorium Geology class at USF the classroom discussion had turned into a heated debate between a few Fundamental Christians and most of the rest of the scientifically minded students, the debate about time and the age of the planet. The instructor was obviously reveling in the many against the few and I was incited, like a wrecking ball, by his "taking sides" when he was the one that asked the question, "Just how old is the planet do you think?"  He, supposedly one in a position to allow for the free flow of debate without judgment, wasn't appearing to have the best of intentions, or he appeared to have had the best of ego intentions would be a more correct analysis. To be fair, I have seen a number of teachers allow for such debate without laughing out loud at students the way he was laughing at the Fundamentalists. Now I myself am not fundamentally a religious person in any way, shape, or form, yet I still have an acute awareness of what is fair.

Being the warrior of truth to the extent that I was at the time I shot my hand up in the air, and then five minutes later stood up with my hand raised to make sure I was seen and called on, there was such a hullabaloo going on in the classroom it was near chaos, this you can imagine knowing how science and religion don't fair well together.  Finally, I was called on, still standing, apx.180 pairs of eyes on me, and I said, "Time is but a man made measurement used to calculate mankind's progress, it's a method of substantiation, time is not a natural force (my voice raised with frustration), the earth doesn't know of minutes, hours, days...". That's as far as I got. Reenter chaos. The whole debate/classroom setting was a highly volatile situation from the start.

If the Fundamentalists were being "crucified" by their peers for their view that the earth was only 6,000 years old, I was lucky there wasn't a stake, rope, hay, and fire in the auditorium because they ALL proceeded to come after me... it's rarely easy to be a warrior of truth in public, or at the least, a 'lil eco-feminist terrorist whose monkey wrench is her voice and spirit (I've NEVER considered myself to be witch-like, but if I was I'd be a Green Witch wink)  I never really got to say that the realm we live in is a naturally occurring fluidity, a fluxing of consciousness, though I was trying to yell out as much over all the guffawing at my expense.  Trust me, it wasn't pretty.  I might as well have been burned at the stake because my face was sooo red and I was sooo hot for the way I was chastised.  It's a good thing there wasn't a crate of tomatoes in the room because I would've been red for another reason as well.  But, bless my green heart and soul, I stood my ground.

A week later the class discussion surrounded earthquake phenomenon, he was talking about how he had been on a local radio talk show, I think he was promoting a book he had written or something like that, he is well respected by his own peers for his life's work.  He stood up there postulating about how the public sector wasn't calling in to talk about earthquakes (well duh! FL's not known for it's earthquakes) and how frustrating that was for him, a lot of dead air happening.  Then a caller called commenting on Edgar Cayce's prophecies concerning earthquakes... he said from that point on the phone lines were jammed.

He then launched into a diatribe, in the classroom, about telephone psychics, pointing out the sham that was Ms. Cleo, that supposed Jamaican woman with all those commercials a few years ago.  He was equating/comparing  Ms. Cleo to Edgar Cayce!  He was the only one talking this time as this was, I guess, a part of his lecture, though other classmates were snickering with him about psychics being "incredibly insane", his words. Up shot my hand, I wasn't laughing.  I then proceeded to tell him he was way off base that there's a BIG difference between the value of a Ms. Cleo psychic and the value that is Edgar Cayce, that he was.... oh yeah, I said it, I told him he was wrong.  There was not a sound in the auditorium when he asked me to, "Please come to my office after class." !!!!!  Again tomato red was I, and fire hot.  In his office he asked if I would keep my ridiculous views to myself for the remainder of the course.  I had scored better that 100% on my exams, the man had no right to count me as "ridiculous", this translating to a lack of my intelligence from his point of view, him telling me as much. Oh ouchie!  Burn, little dove burn.

This was not the only time I was called into an instructor's office.  A Biology teacher once called me out telling me that the way I incited the class scared the hell of  him... all I did was ask an honest question about the truth of DNA, the complete truth, not just the textual view, my question being about "junk" DNA.  Luckily, this instructor liked me, he didn't question my intelligence in his office, he just wanted me to "tone it down", he said he actually felt fear due to the reaction of my peers, he thought he was going to have to leave the classroom, he had let the class out almost 30 mins. early because of this.  The man was indeed visibly shaking.  Of course, this was not my intention, my intention was to learn about it all, not just what the societal infrastructure wants for us to learn.

I may have had a knack for regurgitating educational/textual information and scoring well on exams and papers, but I've never had a knack for sublimating the truth.  I'd rather burn in the fire than blow out the match.

Noble Realms is my/our "new" University, and fortunately for us, ALL are teachers and ALL are students... all are Warriors of the Truth.  Nothing short of this is expected/accepted/desired from anyone of us, as well as of ourselves... if I may speak so broadly.

I sincerely hope you feel my heart as I write--

Namaste... I bow deeply to the Warriors of Truth in all of you.

Re: The speeding up of time...

Time does seem to be so much quicker these days.  I look back to my days at school and each day would seem to never end.  The summer holidays 6-weeks (uk) would just seem to go on and on and on... fantastic!   but nowadays 6 weeks go by in a flash!   My daughter is 4 years old now and that just seems absoultly crazy - she just CAN'T be 4 can she?? agghh!!   It's defo going by super quick!

This is just an observation I have noticed over the past couple of years...

Mondays go really quick
Tuesdays go really slowly
The rest of the week is average and "stable".

Seems like a weekend breaks the pattern of the working-week somehow, monday is still affected by this "weekend consciousness" which is faster,   and then things try to rebalance on tuesday as if the breaks are on,  then things are smooth for the rest of the week.

That's just what i have noticed anyway.

Cheers

Hi BlackBox!

My experience has not been one of "spinning around the walls of the tunnel like an ant being flushed down the toilet." smile

I'm also using this post to address a question someone asked me in a PM, that question being, 'How does one perpetuate energy/consciousness shifts, how does one "activate" their core-being?'  After all, this is what many of us are living for isn't it? Because energetic activation is such a personal event what follows does get rather personal.  I've only shared as much to illustrate my view to you and to answer this other person "outloud", as it should be.

When I had first "awokened" I found myself to be a tornado, consciousness flying everywhere, myself the destruction.  As I grew and learned I found myself to be in the eye of the tornado looking at all the consciousness, all the unsettled parts of myself "spiraling" around me.  With another step of growth, brought forth from my dire INTENTION to be whole, I began to transmute the unsettled parts of myself and reintegrate, or align with my extended life form, the life form not wholly affected by gravity.

Given that all of that had taken place over an apx. 10 year journey, and that there was a ton of work I did as an STO candidate, working really hard to be better than myself, to be more humane than human--

Three months ago I had a stark realization that an email buddy in France (not affiliated with the QFS) was my "twin flame", he told me this he already knew.  This man had been such a catalyst in my alignment process for a year, and he was like a brother to me, but everything changed, momentarily, for discovering this twin flame notion. I wanted to "be" with him, but he is married and I'm not the type of woman to wreck a home.  I may be playful, but I'm not a home wrecker.  I have more respect for my fellow Sisters than I have a desire to have it my own way.

I sat here thinking that if I will, in this life, only enjoy in a "friendly" relationship with him that I was so thankful that he was married to a kind woman that didn't trash his heart, that took care of him, that respected him and his spiritual journey, even if she wasn't of a like mind.  They support one another rather than fight one another.

I sat here feeling so GRATFUL for her, that type of woman, being in his life. I was sitting here feeling unconditional love (STO) for her, instead of being jealous (STS). This just felt so right.

Within a moment I rose above my body to find myself floating as pure energy... have you ever seen an Opal?  From the inside looking out, it looked as if I was in an Opal, and I was the Opal, but there was no end, I wasn't set in a ring or necklace... the "grid". I, my consciousness, was free.

After a short few moments of taking in the pure sparkling beauty of what I was seeing and feeling, and loving it, I suddenly felt my bag of bones body start to collapse and fall off my chair... nothing like a little fall to snap one back into reality, eh?  But ya know what?  The tornado is gone, and I am still free.

The gravity of intent is what I think perpetuates alignment, and one's intent (STO/STS?) defines the momentum/"time" of the alignment.

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.

Re: The speeding up of time...

Wow,  Auendove, you've got the fire!

I've had similar experiences in my spiritual suic.. umm.. Educational developement. ^_^

A biology professor speaking of the wonders of man made medicine who couldn't understand that allmost all pharms are derived from natural sources, usually traditional plants and animals, for the purposes of copywriting the natural world in order to sell it...

What's worse than the proffessors sometimes are the text books. My first full-on DNA textbook spent the majority of the book takikng pot shots at alternative theories instead of actually backing up the reductionist methidologies they were using to teach with fact. And the proffessor would get nervous when I'd ask difficult questions, or skip them right along.

Time for me is a process of focused localized attention based on learned sequencing, from a consciousness perspective divorced from body processes.

Body clocks are important to consider when thinking of these details, until you've got the right kind of mind/body/spirit synch. (I refuse to accept any construct which views the body as irrelevant or as totally illusion, based on the Map is not the Territory princible, and my own experimets with martial arts, freeform dance, and yogic influenced stretch and movement excersizes.. and breathing of course)

The speeding up of time traditionally co-incides with a lack of necessity for the persiever to pay attention to every little detail in order to accomplish the goals of the 'now'. Thus, when you're driving a car, while you CAN very well pay atention to every single detail of everything you pass (and if you can do that while traffic swerving, speeding, props and we should race sometime!), it's much more streamlined to consider only objects related to the driving of the car if in a 'focused on goals' situation. A good intuitive driver only needs pay attention to the potential obstacles really.

The other thing I've mentioned is that in a city/office environment.. you have to remember that you're working in a system which is really REALLY far outside of 'natural time'. Which is far more fluid.. so that if you're becoming an enlightened/more fluid being, than the kinds of things which will disrupt your flow/etc are that sort of environment. As I'm going through this process right now, I find that schools, airports, shopping complexes, etc, become heavy stressors as far as my natural flow is concerned, with some exceptions.. the local farmer's market although it has some of the same annoyances of a shopping complex, tends not to push the stress buttons up too far.

So basically if your consciousness is rejecting standardized timing and synching, then places which are 'heavy' with those can cause some issues until you've stabalizied your personal energy field (and one of the most important things for that is to let go of the 'triggers' which your mind has developed for following those sorts of environments.. bell triggers from schools, phone triggers for offices, etc. Remind yourself that nothing that's important for you to experience will you be able to miss without an effort on your part).

Also, it's really helpfull if you can meet face to face with like minded people. While the internet is good for intellectual processes, all the other ones which can and do need to happen need more direct experiences. For intance, some people having serious physical pains/problems associated with hightened/quickened changes might be able to clear a good percentage of the crap up with a 10 minute massage. That's a really simple example, as the more energetic things will be much more interesting and not necessarily as directly sensual as that, for those who are nervous about close contact with other 'human seeming enntities, or HSEs) *grins*

I've had plenty of "face to face" with those of like mind, don't think I'd be where I'm at if I hadn't. This is only the second Forum I've participated in, and only for a year have I done so, altogether for 6 mos., I had a break between the two forum groups.

I may have had some difficult, "suic..." moments in college (you made me laugh hard with that one), but I wouldn't take it back for nothing. I learned a great deal about a lot of things, including myself, for going to college. Let's just say, from my point of view, I took the good with the bad.

Re: The speeding up of time...

I too have noticed the aspect of "time" to be noticably different the past 6 mo's or so.

What seems like a year ago, was in actuality only this spring.  I was seeking info. on time and time travel which eventually led to me to the wave series, then the NR site.  Sure gave meaning to "ask and you shall receive"!  Now there's so many bucketfuls of information to assimilate it's like an endless potluck, only the dishes get better and better.  New foods, more flavors, and wonderful innovations with the presentation.

Like Montalk mentioned,  a seemingly profound amount of lessons are getting crammed into our current linear time model.  The acceleration of experiences, insights, synchronicities and intuitive moments seem to be astounding at times- but something tells me this is just the beginning.  We are only experiencing the appetizer part of the dinner.

Remember those glass encased wave makers?  The ones where you rock it back and forth to view mini lifelike sea waves?  Well, it feels as if that's sort of what's going on with the time thing.

Last Sat. nite the power had gone out which is very unusual for here.  The clocks indicated so.  I had an unsettling feeling that night, but wasn't at home, my routine had changed.  Was feeling as if unwelcome "grey" visitors were gonna try and come over no matter where I was.  Lots more ear stuff too-sister at the same time experienced same. Then early evening (yesterday) just before dark, this helicopter kept going around and around really low for about  a half hour.  Just around my backyard! I just waved at them and continued to garden while there was still a bit of daylight left.  Hmm...

Many appreciative thanks for all who have posted regarding this time acceleration thing.  The communication seems to have a catalyst effect which wakes up "asleep" parts?  Perhaps more of us who "don't decide to cut class" can offer this phenomena to all on the forum.  Maybe something which seems insignificant to you might greatly help another.  You never know...

If there is no time
Then you have time for everything.
   You're never in a hurry.
That's true freedom.

Re: The speeding up of time...

Auendove,

My comments on boards are not usually targeted, but I made an exception at the start of the post because your words inspired me. ^_^

What's been learned from college is also much appreaciated in my book, I've simply had a lot of resistance to my perspectives in college, thus it's been an uphill battle for some of my proffessors. ^_-

I really do have no problem with  the constructs mentioned in general, just speaking of my own experience with education. Which I suspect will not continue much longer. It bugs me that there are people who still believe that what children and students lack is respect. Some do, but not all, so targeting those who choose to see things differently, without forming an open dialogue with said perspective or making an effort to explain that it's outside of the scope of the class, but instead reacting with intimidation tactics and childish avoidance, does not correlate into 'teaching respect' in my opinion. It reminds me more of the blind leading the blind.

Bingo!

PS- If you can't find humor in these (UT) posts, then maybe that humor isn't looking for you. ^_-
