Re: Healers Awaken!

Lipstick/Mystic....knew some people did not respond to Reiki, but never thought of it in terms of allergy or sensitivity. Makes a lotta sense, and thank you for a provocative new thought trail...

Am a certified rebirther.  Rebirthing is a breathing technique; once you learn it you can work on your own...processing out old crap, making room for light-energy.  It is as close as I have found to something that's good for what ails ya no matter what...including junk from past lives.  Yet even ReB has its drawbacks...(e.g. difficult to commence if the client has breathing problems; does not pinpoint, therefore cannot work well w/ brain injuries (no pain receptors in brain) ).  Bob Frissell, author of Nothing in This Book Is True...etc... is a Rebirther...as is Bob Mandel, author of the best dang books on relationships you willl EVER read  : Open Heart Therapy

Will check out Hado.   Thanks again....

Re: Healers Awaken!

Freeme,Auendove,Voodoo(jimi-addict),manyeagles,solo & silverfox,

and anyone else who picked up on this thread.

I've been harbouring a secret for awhile.Deliberately I 'spose.

I've been a practicing 'healer' for approx 12 years  - reiki - usui system, taught it for about 6 of those 12 years.I thought I knew shit.In fact I thought I was the shit -  knew everything. It goes without saying,I knew nothing. The title 'master' really tends to throw one off the path, for a number of reasons. Not least of all,the rather massive male ego - but to be fair, I WAS good.I was really good at teaching Reiki,I can communicate quite effectively(mercury in capricorn apparently! or so they say) - but what I could never figure out was,why would the ACTUAL healings sometimes work and sometimes not work...and i'm talking about maladies and illnesses accross the board - from migraines to excema to lukeamia & cancer & hiv.My focus was more on the 'physical' side of things(I don't believe in 'balancing' chakras and all that jazz - only the individuals themselves can truly achieve that feat).Certainly many of the health problems i encountered in people had it's roots in emotional imbalances and trauma's usually aquired in their youth - pre-pubescent usually.Soooo, I added NLP and PNI to my arsenal, due to the reason that you can  do energy work until the cows come home, but if the the underlying pathology is not adequately dealt with, the illness or condition, naturally, tends to re-occur.
But still - sometimes it worked and somestimes it did'nt.
I tended more often than not to brush the failure's under the carpet.'Oh well, it must be karmic.Poor bastard' or 'my energies obviously are not in tune' ...or my favourite  'God,the universe, allah etc was just not on my side' ...and 'the healing angels have deserted me...I hope I did'nt piss them off somehow by having too much whisky last night...'
and so on,and so on - when it did'nt work, that is.
other times,it worked, and God smiled upon me and my whisky-swoggling ways and did'nt forget to send the angels...........God bless em.

now it works virtually everytime.(approx 90-95% success rate)
I specialise in cancer - all the different varieties that you get, not to bore you nice people, but the likes of prostate & bowel, melanoma, breast cancer,bone-marrow and my personal favourite,brain-tumours.Old people and kids are the best to work on (no idea why - perhaps their body/mind filters are thinner-easier to access)
The shortest time it has taken me to eradicate a cancer is 2 months(with the active participation of the person in dis-ease of course).
Please do not take my tone as mis-placed arrogance.

The alchemy is as follows (specially to you reiki folk out there) :

investigate brainwave frequencies(i.e alpha, beta, theta etc) - this is crucial.Search high and low for absolutely everything that you can find on the subject.Stan Grof,Ken Wilber,G.Frank Lawlis, even Mckenna(ol' mushroom head) and just let it soak in.Bask in  the wierdness of the altered state,by all means, alter your own state or brainwave frq thru whatever means you deem responsible - there are many ways - some good, some not so savoury, but all LEGITIMATE.bend them brainwaves good an proper!
right...then soak up abit of geophysics - planetary electromagnetics specifically.(but you guys knew that, right?)
...what's the frequency,kenneth?
thats the humdinger - the ace in the hole.
next...purchase 1x light & sound machine(or brainwave entrainment device) - you know the type - preferably with preset programs(for simplicity's sake) google it if you are not sure.I don't want to mention brand-names....however there is a particularly sorted bunch of neuro-boffs that produce their alchemical devices in Canada - find 'em.Good products, these.
next...get 1x cancer sufferer ( the worse condition the better!)- it should be noted,if the person is on chemo or radiation therepy, your job is that much more difficult. All they achieve (the wankers that go by the name 'oncologists'  - god bless them, but they all probably OP's) is to completly obliterate the immune/endocrine/nervous system further - like trying to play a game of darts with an RPG.Idiots.

Set your light & sound machine to exactly 7.8 hz.

I repeat 7.8 hz - The Schumann Resonance.
For those who do not know - this is the Earth's base electromaganetic frequency.
Put the patient on the machine for 1 1/2 hours (almost forgot..epilepsy sufferer's should not use this device - the lights!)
DURING the Light & Sound session - about a half hour into it,AFTER the patient is firmly in an altered state, hovering betwixt Alpha and Theta (takes 10-15 min to induce altered state, maybe 25 minutes in a stubborn somebody),
Ask for protection(in whatever manner suits you),then place your hands over the affected area, let the energy of your meridians flow, and visualise like a sonofabitch. But be relaxed.Chilled.Your body must be relaxed - as should your subject's.No muscular tension or resistance. This inhibits flow of energy.
Match your breathing rythym with that of the patient...in and out, in and out,in and out.
Completly synchronised. In & out.Pushing the light out of your hands - do the cho-ku-rei,dai-ko-mio,whatever (this is not necessary though, for me,it's the LIVING Christ)- melt into them. The heart center plays an important role here - feel affection for the person you're working on.If thats difficult (for whatever reason) then feel what their kids/spouse/lover/parents must feel for them.Activate the Heart - here again, imagery plays an important role.
IMAGERY. NB NB NB! See that stuff coming out of your hands.Feel that stuff coming out of your hands.light an bright.Keep it 'there' as long as your as your body will hold you up.

The patients body/mind,when vibrating at 7.8 hz, is completly open to your imagery and suggestion,so,please keep thoughts/emotions pure and clean and on the task at hand.

Repeat this procedure(with belief and knowing) until the cancer is gone.(ensure patient is following decent health and nutrition routines as well - depended on type of cancer)
Have a whisky afterwards, cause you have earned it.

...AND THE LAST (but most important) GOLDEN RULE : Do not charge for this service.Expect no fiscal renumeration.Do it because you can.You will be rewarded.
Christ did not ask for any shekels after he healed the sick.
what i have relayed to you nice people at NR is the tip of the ice-berg.
EXPERIMENT!!!!!!!! TRY DIFFERENT SEQUENCES OUT!

Re: Healers Awaken!

I've been working on this post off and on since noon today. In between washing laundry, running errands, grocery shopping, and phone calls, I've been peck-pecking away on my keyboard, and my thoughts. I have been straddling two worlds between an old healing method and a new healing method, and this day of thought has been quite productive. I do believe I may now have two feet on one solid ground. wink

Auendove,

Thank you, thank you thank you, for mentioning how traditional Reiki uses the Sanskrit letters and how this may energetically feel like "the old way" for some.

Thank you, thank you!

Well, my goodness, you're welcome! I have to say, when I was first intuitively picking up on this idea of Reiki being an old energy way it was difficult to hear, I wanted to reject the notion. Yet, I can't just pick and choose what I'll find to be true through that intuitive source, to suit my own needs, and just because it'll mean I have to let go of something that's been a part of my identity for many years. Doing so would lack honoring The One who readily shares with me. Gotta always go with the flow, eh? wink  To always be ready to be supple, least I become shriveled up and dry.

Now, this doesn't mean that I've totally rejected Reiki, but I do heartedly and gleefully accept that we're moving from an old way of energy work procurement, into a new way of energy work procurement. I am very interested in exploring the Hado you've mentioned, and have definitely loved and respected Dr. Emoto's research. Thank you, yourself, for opening this new vista for consideration for all reading. As well, I'd like endorse Dr. Bruce Lipton's research and information with his "The Biology of Belief." Although I haven't yet read his book, I have listened to his interview and watched his video. It's very exciting information he shares. I will be getting his book ASAP.

LipstickMystic wrote:

The reason why I'm being so effusive is this......many ancient symbols, when inscribed over someone in a healing session as happens in a Reiki healing (I believe this is what happens in Reiki - correct me if I'm wrong on that) can actually feel like psychic intrusion to someone's energy field.

I, for instance, am "allergic" to Reiki.  If someone comes at me with those symbols, my system perceives it as psychic attack.  I know many others who have the same reaction.

You are correct, the symbols are inscribed over a healee in a session. Whether or not many symbols are used though may vary from healer to healer. I myself don't use very many of the symbols. I'm not only Usui method trained, I'm Karuna trained, too. There is only one Karuna symbol I use, and don't choose to use the rest because they don't feel right to me. The one I do use I use with crystals, and do find it very affective, and very much like the way it feels. It is a gentle symbol. I use the three symbols given at the second attunement in the Usui method, and sometimes the one I just wrote about. As well, I was shown a symbol during a meditation, and I use this one, too. It works just like a conductor, just like revving an engine. It is very powerful.

Let me say these few things about my role as a Reiki practitioner, or a more appropriate designation would be "energy worker":

--Foremost, I have thought of Reiki as a tool, like a skillet is a tool for a chef. I do not find Reiki as the be all of healing. I also use color, crystals, and shamanistic "seeing," although these later modes were learned along the way, after beginning my attunement process.

--I'm not card carrying, there's no Reiki Master business cards for me.

--I don't have a website to advertise my services (although it's been suggested a few times, which I've considered, but have not been able to force myself to do as much...and in the end, it would require force).

--I have NEVER made my service contingent on receiving payment, although I have been paid (this also has only been a few times, three times exactly, in over ten years now. I get seriously squeamish about being paid for healing when, like silverfox pointed out, it's the energy that heals, not "me." If there's anything remarkable about me, it is my Faith in the energy that flows through me).

--I don't approach others in a pushy way, although I have offered to a few NR members privately, but only because I intuitively felt it was warranted...but never have I been pushy about it.

--It has been an awesome learning experience to be a Reiki practitoner/energy worker. I have learned much about energy and intuitive counseling, and the human condition, through doing Reiki healing work, and then furthermore as an energy worker. I've actually helped a few out along the way.

While I have never had anyone tell of an experience about having an "allergic" reaction to Reiki energy, I don't question what you're relating. Indeed, Jennifer, if a Reiki person is putting the symbols into your energy field without asking, or being requested to do so, then this is most assuredly a violation of your being, and yes, can be interpreted as a psychic attack, even if the act was done out of their self-perceived sense of love, and not from the viewpoint of "attacking" you.

It is a major no-no in my book to lay symbols on another that hasn't asked or agreed. I have not, and will not do this. If it's a case like Soloflecks, and her reference to her friend Jose, I will say a prayer, but I'll not be found firing up an ether tube connection and dumping symbols into that person's energy field. This would be unacceptable behavior on my part, or any other practitioners part.

LipstickMystic wrote:

I realize that many people have good experiences with Reiki, both as practitioners and as clients. So I don't mean to say that this technique can't be a good one for anybody. And I don't in any way mean to belittle your own healing work, Auendove, or the wonderful thoughts you have shared.  So please don't take offense! None is intended.

And Jennifer, no offense is taken, and I don't feel belittled. I'm happy I've taken the day to access an eleven year ride as a Reiki person. I think we here, now, have a wonderful opportunity to further discuss the appropriateness of healing services, whether or not that comes in the Reiki method, Hado method, etc.. Subjectively, I could write here, "To each their own," but objectively, that's not what I'm talking about right at this time. It's now about change, and new and exciting opportunities.

As I wrote before, I think that we are in a shift of consciousness wherein the old ways, like Reiki, may soon be considered truly ancient ways, and the new ways will come to light and fruition for the greatest good of All. Although the Reiki symbols will always be in my energy field, or at least until there's a full mind, body, and spirit complete transition of form, if that's to be, I am prepared to move forward with the new ways, garnering no regrets or druthers. Actually, I today can observe how I've moved forward, in a natural way, through the years, from being just a Reiki Master to being an energy worker.

The most important thing for me, whether I'm working with another's energy, or my own, is that I consistently remain supple, mobile, and congruously conductive in accordance with God-source and Universal Intelligence. No floating in stagnant waters for this bird wink . And not that I'm pulling my hair out for working with so many, because I'm not, and this has never been the case, but I'd really like to see others become responsible for their own healing efforts. There is a precious personal satisfaction in doing one's own energy work...and I even think, too, that personal growth becomes exponential when one hones the ability to procure healing and energy work for themselves, rather than relying on another.

With that said--

LipstickMystic wrote:

Sanskrit is an ancient language, and the individual letters of languages are potent esoteric symbols for energy through their associated use with different thoughforms through the centuries.

So what if someone's energy system is incompatible with the energy a healer is invoking by using a specific symbol?

It would be like me inscribing a Christian cross over your aura when you're Jewish and would be more comfortable with a Star of David or Tree of Life.  There can be an incompatibility when we get into inscribing and invoking symbolic energies for someone that are not resonant with that particular soul and/or auric field.

Sensitives like me feel this truly as psychic invasion or as psychic attack and so steer clear of Reiki sessions.  But I know the reasons why, and I still honor Reiki practitioners for what they do. I just think they are not, by and large, educated about these issues during their training and so may be unprepared for what some people experience when they have an aversion to Reiki energy.

Let us consider here your words, and especially the bolded words.

Given there is a Universe, even Multiverses, of consciousness experiences to be had, with many realms to be explored, the possibility that one would have an incarnation in the Sanskrit age, when the Reiki method was initially developed, is a variable.

I certainly will consider that I've had an incarnation/s in that age/realm of living, and given yours and others' allergic reactions, I would be apt to think that you and the others have not...if it's not too awkward to make a generalization like this, it may be not quite that tidy. Yet, going with this line of thinking, if you do not have an energetic "tie" to that consciousness experience, it would make sense that you and the others you mention would indeed have an allergic reaction to the "medicine" of that time. It would indeed be like covering the Jewish one with the Christian one's cross, and would be inappropriate. Given this understanding, I can see why you and others might have an adverse reaction.

In all reality, what are the chances of the six billion people on the planet today, that every single one of them had a life experience during the age and ways of the ancient Sanskrit?

As well, I should say that not all are indeed privy to an awareness of who've they been, or what consciousness experiences have influenced their living energy, and may innocently enter a Reiki session, and then feel like they've gotten a whammy. I would like to add, though--by virtue of my not pursuing others for sessions--those that I've worked with have basically shown up at "my door," so to speak, and I've therefore considered that when they arrive in front of me, that there is an element of appropriate guidance involved. This could be the reason why I've not heard of complaints about adverse affects due to a session, because it was an appropriate course of action.

And, for the most part, since becoming aware of the info about Reiki becoming an old way, I have steered others along a path wherein they work their own energy, and have shared with them tools and ideas about how to do so. Even those that have taken a session or two, and we've cleared out some neg thought forms or such (through shamanistic methods of "seeing" and pulling out, no symbols for removal employed), I have encouraged them to be the captain of their own ship, suggesting that they pray and intend for themselves, and that they are capable of energy work under their own steam, in fact better than could I. In the past year and more I've only worked with Reiki on a handful of people, including myself. In all the work I did with myself in Nov. and Dec. only once did I do a Reiki session with myself, and, no doubt, that session was not responsible for the condition of myself today.

LipstickMystic wrote:

But as a healer, wouldn't it be helpful for a student to know some of the reasons why a Reiki session may worsen a patient's symptoms if their system rejects the Sanskrit symbols and associated energies?  Why isn't anybody talking about this?  It bothers me!

There is something very important about the Reiki energy that I learned early on, and that's that it is basically a non-discriminating energy. I didn't learn this piece of information from any of my Reiki attuners, though. I haven't done Reiki work with a cancer patient, or an AIDS patient, or even with someone with a cold, including myself having a cold, for years now, just because of its non-discriminating nature. The energy is going to go to all the living forms in the host body/healee, including the living bacterial and viral ones. People may want to claim that Reiki is a "wise" energy, and will only go where it's needed, but I'm not on that page. I do know different, I've been non-traditionally educated to this difference.

EDIT--

Just before posting this I read holotropic's post about his method in working with cancer patients, and the way he's modified his practice from the traditional method of Reiki healing. I wonder, holotropic, if you would agree with the info about Reiki being a non-discriminate energy. That you use the other methods, as well, or in lieu of Reiki symbols (?), seems to point to the necessity to modify an approach when dealing with bacterial and viral forms of disease. I enjoyed reading your post, and fully agree with you about one touting the "Master" card being less then attractive. I didn't find you to be arrogant, rather I found your post to be informative, and your method fascinating. More power to ya!  cool

--Returning to my post as was originally written:

It is a tricky thing to work with someone who is ill, with the Reiki energy in particular, and the story you related about the man with CFS, Lyme, and RA is a classic example of inappropriate use of the Reiki energy. I've recently been approached by a friend who knows a gal who has Lupus. He asked if I'd be willing to work with her, him asking me because he wants her to seek more help than just mainstream medicine. He very much cares about the welfare of this young woman. I said yes, but I was more interested in working with her in an intuitive counseling fashion, shaman-like if you will, and only using the distant healing symbol to make a connection, to view her energy field.

I realize there are many levels to why a person may be ill with such a desisting disease as Lupus, and Reiki is not a cure all, and may even "feed" the disease. To intuitive counsel, and seek out the foundational reasons for her health condition would be much more productive than slapping symbols into her energy field, especially given what I've written in the paragraph above about Reiki energy not being discriminate. I agreed with my friend that she shouldn't put all her eggs into the mainstream medicine basket, but also not to put them all in a Reiki basket, by far, and that a medley of alternative healing methods should be employed, including an alternative dietician, and acupuncture treatments, too. These were his ideas, and good ones. The gal has been made aware of my friend asking me, and my agreeance to work with her, but I've not yet heard anything. And that is so perfectly fine. This is likely one of those cases where guidance is interceding, and for that I'm grateful. I'd never want to be party to enhancing one's illness, instead of desisting the illness. Relying solely on mainstream medicine may not be the best choice, but not pursuing a Reiki Master very well could be.

Before I wind down this long winded post  smile , I'd like to share a story about hearing, and then learning about how Reiki was becoming an old modality. I still get a big ole Snicker! Snort! whenever I think about this, and how guidance works its wisdom with me. Not long after I had gotten that intuitive message I was doing a distant session with another Reiki Master. I did my opening prayers, and began the session, and the energy flowed as it had every other time...but that time, about one minute into the session, I suddenly realized I had forgotten to use the distant healing symbol. For years I had used that symbol, and it's not one easy to forget to use as it's long and intricate. I felt stunned for having forgotten it, and then amazed that the energy flowed just as if I had implemented it.

I then heard my guidance gently chiding me, "Seeeeeee...?"

Yes, now then, how could I not see?  big_smile

Re: Healers Awaken!

Auendove,
I would totally agree with Reiki being non-discriminate.

my experience has been that the important factor is the state of the person you are working on.How deep go their walls or defences?.Who caused it ,and how? was it emotional, mental, physical or sexual? How old was the individual in question? the age of the person has a direct bearing on the center(chakra) that was most dramatically affected. These are crucial for  'true' diagnostics and application.
Brainwave frequency in the alpha/theta range cause the patient's total bodymind relaxation - this is critical for a successful Healing.Energetic and cellular defences come down. Then just about anything can be achieved.Even conditions which are of a genetic nature: genetic disorders - these are merely deeper erroneous bodymind programs/illnesses - and therefore a deeper state must then be induced - to access cellular/genetic memory.
The Reiki, i suspect,is intelligent.I do use the symbols as well.

Accoss the divide.

holotropic,

IM = Instant Message. Instant Messanger services are a way to communicate with another in the moment. It's just like talking to someone on the phone, but you don't talk, you use your key board and write back and forth. I use Yahoo Instant Messanger, it's free. There are other IM servers that are free as well.

Re: Healers Awaken!

In an above post I wrote about part of my prayer request for healing and energy refinement being honored "in all directions and at all levels of my being." While I do believe this is important to include in one's intentions and prayer requests--because we are not all necessarily privy to an all inclusive knowledge of our living energy, and how it may be desisted--I would like to add these distinctions that any of you may want to add to your requests in your own energy work. I add these distinctions, as if they are indeed different from "in all directions and at all levels of my being," because they are ways we do consciously distinguish our persons within our human experiences.

If it feels right for you, include these four distinctions, as well as the request of "in all directions and all levels of my being" in your healing/energy work--

~physical body

~consciousness

~spirit-etheric body

~genetic body

While many of us are aware of ourselves as being mind, body, and spirit entities, sometimes we're not always so conscious in the forefront of our minds, like the other three, about our genetic body (though I'm sure many are, too).

It only takes one little note like this, as it did with me when I was first made aware of the added distinction, to remind us of the important role our genetics play in our living conditions. Again, here, I'll mention Dr. Bruce Lipton's "The Biology of Belief."

If anything at all can be done to spark up and assist the growth of genetic wherewithal, then it's to a better end. Given the concept that at one juncture in time native DNA was de-evolved by hyperdimensional intervention, from many strands to a mere few, then indeed, the healthier, and even the addition of rebundled DNA, is more than worthy of attention. The healthier and more genetic strands we have to interact from, the more innate power we have to access.

Here's to everyone having a snip-snap happy day! Cheers, to all!  big_smile

Re: Healers Awaken!

Thanks so much, everybody, for all the amazing contributions to this thread!

Holotropic, thanks too for the amazing info on attuning a healing session to the 7.8 hz Schumann Resonance frequency.

I did some experimental healing work on someone yesterday setting the intention that I would align myself to this frequency and be a channel for healing from this frequency (I don't have any machinery at home to create this, so I wanted to experiment with simply setting the intention and seeing how this frequency was experienced both in my own body and in the energy field of the patient.)

I went into my usual deep state of meditation and felt my brainwaves shift as they always do in a healing session. The interesting thing was that as soon as I set the clear intention that I would align myself with that frequency, Pachelbel's Canon immediately started playing in a full orchestral loop inside my head. I was given guidance that something about that particular piece of music correlates with the Schuman Resonance frequency.  All I can say is that the  song seemed to perfectly flow with the healing work and helped me center that frequency as I did the work. It was almost like I "played this music into the patient" using my own system as the tuning fork.

The recipient went into an immediate, deep state of relaxation and reported a very harmonious, gentle, sensation as this frequency cleared them out.

So...I must discover more!  Thanks so much for the pointers.
