I too have been referring to it as a Miracle; my family thinks I'm bonkers, they say that I read too much into too many "signs". What can I say, they're wrong! 
Funny thing, IF this was a sabotage (against AirFrance/AirBus), then it seems to me that it may have backfired in a sense; after the way the crew evacuated everyone in less than 2 minutes [that must be some kind of record], and immediately before the plane went up in flames; talk about Wow!
Me, if I ever have to take a trans-Atlantic flight, it's gonna' be on Air France.
Joe V. Yup, may he RIP. I know that means "rest in peace", but once when I was very young my grandma told me that it had another meaning, "rise if possible". She was attempting to make a joke; and while I dutifully laughed, I did not get it then. I appreciate it now in several ways.
Jove would have mucho to say on this event, the London bombings, and more... He sure shed a lot of different light on a lot of different subjects.
As for the numerology on that flight # 358. 3+5+8 = 16. Goro Adachi (Etemenanki) as well as Dutch (another forum poster) have been talking a lot about the significance of the number 16 lately.
Yeah, the weather here is unbelievable, isn't it. Record heat waves which have lasted pretty much all summer since June. It just aint natural, imo.
I'll end this little post with this thought: We're gonna' need a bigger boat!
