Topic: The American Dream, The Worlds Nightmare
This thought has been creeping up on my this week, I can't shake it loose, I will try to make it a formal as possible.
This omnipresent goal in America and other rich countries, is for it's hard working residents to have the most comfortable lives.
And these hard working people, some loving and wise, others mean and clever who achieve this goal live in sick luxuries.
For every wealthy household how much suffer, in the places that don't "exist" in the nightly news?
I'm talking about the sweatshops and Third World countries who suffer for every brand name store.
It's not guilt that I write this out of, but these past weeks I have been trying to be fully aware and meditate alot.
So this droped it's claws into me and now I ponder. This is sick. Ofcourse I lack statistics and facts.
But I wonder if on T.V. people could watch Third World Countries - Would they care?
Is the modern age just filled with industrial countries, that fosters an "assembly line" lifestyle?
O but what a beautiful Dream.
