Topic: Sea salt for self-clearing

I thought I'd make a quick post about sea salt in a separate thread (discussion on this was raised in the other thread about my recent radio broadcast on What A World Radio.)

In the broadcast I talked about the importance of using sea salt as a potent cleanser of etheric goop.  I wanted to explain this for the benefit of the broader board members who might have missed some of the info that was shared.

In short, our bodies are largely saline - for instance, when someone is dehydrated at the hospital they will often be given a saline solution intravenously to restore balance to the system.  We NEED salt.

As a side note, there has been a lot of recent research surfacing that has started to disprove the old "salt is bad for you" theory.......you can find quotes about this in recent medical research -- I don't have the links here in front of me at this moment.

Anyhoo, the long and the short of it is that sea salt works both to relax tired muscles and promote muscular well-being in the physical body, plus it also has a handy side effect of clearing out etheric goop that we pick up throughout the week - psychic pollution like lower level elementals, negative thoughtforms, and to some extent cords of energy that plug into other people.  Sea salt also clears out electromagnetic pollution picked up from this excessively electric environment that we move around in daily.

You can use regular table salt, epsom salts, sea salt, and/or sea salt with essential oils in it. All work very well to clear out your etheric bodies and cleanse the auric field, which in turn also promote psychic/spiritual immunity (helping you maintain resistance against parasitic critters and goop.)

Also, a bit of baking soda added to the sea salt is good.

Soak in a hot tub for 20 minutes or longer with a few tablespoons of sea salt and a bit of baking soda and see how much clearer you feel - emotionally, mentally, psychically.  It's great!

You can also get the same effect from swimming out in the ocean. Or add some water with sea salt in it to a spray bottle and spray your auric field with it.  You can also use this same spray to clear out some of the electromagnetic pollution in a room or in your entire home.  You'll notice an immediate "calming" of the energy and find it easier to meditate in the room.

Another thing you can do to clear out a room is to use a humidifier....only instead of just adding water to the humidifier, add some sea salt and/or essential oils.  This gentle spray of saline water will promote a nice environment for sleeping, thinking, meditating, you name it.

Someone asked in the other thread if you can get the same benefits from eating sea salt as bathing in it.......sea salt is very good for the body because it has the trace minerals that have been removed from regular table salt, so it is better absorbed by the body in a harmonious way. And yes, eating it will give you SOME of the same clearing effects that I mention above. But to do an all over auric cleanse, you need to have it touch the edges of your physical body, as can happen with swimming in the ocean or taking a bath.

Okay, these are my sea salt priestess recommendations for the day!

Best,

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

Sea salt is great stuff, most people may suffer health problems from salt because they do not drink enough water and are chronically dehydrated.
the body may even bloat as a last ditch attempt to conserve water and what to the quacks do? put them on water tablets as they are diagnosed with water retention and so dehydrate them even more making the blood even thicker, higher blood pressure which is medicated with more drugs  and stress on the heart/lungs then comes the heart attacks and chronic health problems.

Enough sea salt and and water and our bodies will find the right balance and eliminate what it does not need.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

My wife and I just threw away all of our bath and body care products that contained harmful ingredients, i.e. methyl or propyl parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, and so on. It dawned on me to just make our own bath salts and oils and shampoos and soaps in response to this move. Not only is it cheaper to make these healthier products and not pay someone to poison you, but the energy of using our own h.m. products is very appealing to me in alot of ways. I've entertained the idea before knowing that there is junk most body products (even health/natural products), but only briefly and not as seriously as now. It's actually now a necessary choice due particular personal situations. Anyway, to get to the point. This is great to know that making my own bath salts will do my for my "health" than I realized. This transition will be even more fun now!

I would like to add a small personal experience to the benefits of salt bathing being mentioned here. I had built a flotation tank some years ago and experimented with it for a bit until termites got into the nice, warm, damp, wood enivroment and destroyed the framing.  For those who may not know, a float tank is filled with 10"-12" of water and epsom salts at a specific solution of gravity.  One float I did stands out in my mind as I was writing the above paragragh. I got so relaxed after about an hour float that I got out literally glowing. It was quite noticeable to me and my wife. It was effecting the ambiance of the whole room. I thought that was cool, not to mention how happy and relaxed I felt. Anyway, I am making a correlation now between soaking in salts and my profound mood after that float. My aura had apparently been quite cleansed. Gee! I may have to get my tank up and running again.....

Yea, water is awesome.  How much water does our body contain again?

And I really enjoyed your sig Barefoot Doc. smile

Has anyone ever heard of the watercure? There is a website dedicated to the subject of our bodies' need for water and salt. I do not endorse 100% of the material in this site, but it is pretty interesting! I have seen, personally, testimant to this "protocol".

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

What a coincidence! My friend was feeling very stressed today, so I got her some epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda, and lavendar oil. The recipe I found online was 2 cups of epsom salt, 1 cup of sea salt, half a cup of baking soda, and a few drops of oil added to a full tub of warm water. Does that sound about right?

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

I drink mag water (magnesium bicarbonate) daily, it seems to help keep my ph basic (I test urine with ph paper). A guy named Beckett in Australia found that animals in a certain area which had a lot of magnesium bicarbonate in the water supply had extended longevity. He produces and bottles the water and supposedly they are flying off the shelves.  You can make it yourself by adding 2 oz. milk of magnesia to a liter of cold seltzer water (not club soda). Shake well, let it settle, repeat twice. You should end up with a clear solution finally, maybe a little white sediment you can discard. Take 4oz of this water and add it to each liter of your drinking water. The bicarbonate acts like a buffer in the body for the acidity produced by metabolism, and scavengers free radicals which cause aging. I work in a hospital as a pharmacist and we use bicarb intravenously to protect patient's kidneys prior to infusions of IV dye during heart catheterizations.

A few drops of lavendar oil is fine, but you don't need so much salt and baking soda per bath.

Here's what Lipstick Mystic recommended above and I think that it works fine:

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

I've been concocting a shower salt scrub for years now.  I mix fine ground seasalt, almond oil, grapeseed oil and  a few drops of whatever essential oil I prefer at the time.  I put all this in screwtop plastic jar and when I've finished cleansing I give myself a good rub down with a scoop of this then shower off the residue and pat myself dry.  I don't know if this is effective as per above but it sure makes me tingle and feel great.

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

These are all really great suggestions and recipes that you've shared.

I had forgotten about salt scrubs, Momento - thanks for reminding me!  One of the simplest ways of getting yourself covered with salt is to, well, cover yourself with salt.

As for the amount of salt and baking soda used, there really isn't any wrong or right.  My honey likes to use closer to a cup of salt vs. my, more conservative, few tablespoons.  I find that three tablespoons are about the smallest amount that does the job. So maybe use that as a start point and increase as you see fit .

Some of it for me is just about making the salt last longer so I don't have to go to this one health food store that carries it in bulk.....lots of zombied out folks wandering around there, and I don't like to go there very much.  Weird how the "health-conscious" community is sometimes the most whacked out energetically!  What is that about?????

Happy salt adventures to everybody.

Yeah I've noticed that. I've been to two Holistic Trade Expos this year in the UK where the majority of the (thousands of) attendees were alternative/holistic therapists. I won't say the majority of them looked whacked out, but certainly a far higher number than you would ever expect. Some of those therapists looked pretty scary actually. God knows how they manage to stay in business and attract clients when they look as whacked out as they do.

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

From the Insider thread on GLP:

Q:
What are the foods etc that are used to control us? Is there anything we should and shouldn ´t concume that would help us to see the reality more clearly? What constitutes "temperance"? - is it moderation in all things or more than that?

A:
See above for the food part.
It is 1 part of the manipulation, it is used in combination with 6 other methods of control in your daily life.
If you can "delete" a few from your life or have less exposure to them, the effect will reduce dramatically, but this is not what will make you more self-conscious.
These methods are used to wear you out, lower your quality of life.
They are interlinked.

The methods are:
1. Food and drinks
2. Medication, "Health care" (include vitamins)
3. Electrical waves (including your PC and cellphone, house electr. network, everything chipped)
4. Media, be it TV-radio-newspapers-magazines-internet (the most obvious method, yet the most enslaving)
5. Music, Sounds (different method than media, used in a different way although most times through the media)
6. Air pollution
7. Education system (including known literature which is mostly corrupt, be it history, psychology, metapsychology, "philosophy", art, science, poetry, religion, even fairy tales told to infants).

Politics takes these methods and bombard you with this every day and make sure they are maintained.

The rule is:
If promoted/praised/applauded/critically acclaimed/free, be very wary.
Be it food, medicines, latest technological product, "artist", politician, musician, book, show, beverage, etc.
Some of these allegedly "stand the test of time", that is orchestrated for a reason.
Problem is if too wary, you could miss a few gems that are deliberately passed on in between the manipulation tools by some.

There are a few other methods (societies/cults/sects, people policing each other, etc) but the above 6 are the core which has been promoted since the French "Revolution".

Temperance: conscious form of restraint based on self-knowing to achieve inner order of the Soul (which is the unseen you as a whole, the Soul is not a part of you, you are one).
Restraining the emotions/desires/passions/energies does not mean cutting it off (that will harm you, beware), but channeling them to work for higher causes after taming them gently.
This all does lead to a sober life, yet simpler, filled with gifts because you fully become your own master, instead of your emotions/desires/passions dictating you how to be.
Simultaneously with this process you will be cleansing yourself and will be ready to be enlightened by the Universal Mind.

Be like that which you want to connect with as much as possible.

Again, I do not know if this 'Insider' was who he said he was, but he did have access to what seems like credible information.  Whether it's mixed in with disinfo, I don't know.

But, I do feel like there is something weird about much of the 'healing' and health-based community.  (Example: Why when you go to the good 'organic & healthy' store, is everything non-produce so full of SUGAR?)

So, my advice is to trust your intuition and seek how something feels, deep down.

And don't let all the crap get you down.  It just is - for now at least.  Be part of the solution, for youself!

Re: Sea salt for self-clearing

Himilayan salt due to its ultra purity, age and finer cystal structure is probably even better than sea salt. Himalayan salt lamps make great natural ionisers too.
