Voodoo, and others, what is your opinion on temporary tattoos? No pain, no committment, which is either desirable or not depending on your reasons for wanting a tattoo. I see tattoos as a form of personal expression fitting to specific sub-cultures. In Singapore, tattoos are illegal and therefore only found among gang members as a form of initiation, while here in the US it's more casual. I don't see the controversy either way, because tattoos are just ink under the skin which is not much different from metal through the ear lobes, leather on your feet, pigment on your face, sweater over your shoulder, or the numerous other ways in which the basic naked human acquires external extensions of personality.

One of the reasons I spent 12 years exploring the process was because I have personal meaning attached not only to the actual tattoo, but also to the placement.  My intent was to increase a level of resonance and positive activity.  As with any side of one polarity, it necessitates a belief that I do believe a symbol chosen without intent, would have negative ramifications.

To me, it seems the majority of people looking to get tatooed give only a passing consideration to their personal evolution.

I am a different person every day I wake up, a symbol or notion that has striking significance to me one day could be irrelevant and cliche later the same day!

And all this talk about methods of removal.

Do most people in the market for a new car immediately think about the day they're gonna sell it?

This makes zero sense to me.

Maybe just have 'whatever' inked on a shirt, cuz well, you can change a shirt.

If I'd gotten a tat when I was, say 18, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt I would be ASHAMED of it!

Temp tattoos are cool ... i totally dig henna art.  Also good for if your thinking about it and want to be sure test drive. Permanent art is pretty amazing though.
I definatly think that the tattoos can infact you as a whole. For instance for me i have my chakra tattoos(in progress) and the brotherhood tattoo and they bring positive vibes to me and remind me of how i feel and resonate with me. As for changeing and evolving you can have a tattoo completly covered by another tattoo in many circumstances, basically a new tattoo, if you were so inclined.

If I will be allowed continued access here, I'd sure like to (in the spirit of saturnalian forgiveness (the currency of humans in effervescent everyday), Apologize (in caps) for my disservice here. It was never what I intended, to divide. as the xyzmas nears, we benefit by mutual design: mea culpa re: divisionary action (though unintended). Quality Quanza Quo Plus!

I think it's great that you are on this path.  Dancing is something we should all be doing more of.  There's a reason why dance is so important in aboriginal cultures, it's a primal need for humans.  Well, we may not all be able to study dance formally, or join in a tribal dance, but we can always turn on the music and dance around the room

Well, looked at from one perspective, graffiti/tattoos are also God's handiwork--certainly in the hands of accomplished artists, as
are many who do tattoos.
