This is why you have failed. You will not think out of the box (the Matrix) you will endeavour to continue your personal quest in nothing but matter and the 5/6th senses and the occasional 'breakthrough' in quantum physics.

The answers lay beyond the above.

Maybe you will never be free, who knows maybe you have not got a clue.

An open letter to David Icke & Neomatrix (reposted once lyra pointed out a thread already existed for this even tho its turned into a discussion on finances)

Dear Neomatrix

I understand your point of view and the way in which you percieve David Icke as been doom & gloom as u put it.  But I certainly dont agree with you.
I did however go through a simalar thought process for a time and was thinking hey perhaps Icke is really not acheiving anything.  But I honestly think youve gotten it all wrong here.  For starters I dont see how everything is still the same like you suggest.  I see a lot of positive changes taking place in the world, i see strong resistance to neo-con agendas, i see public demonstrations getting stronger and politicians getting more vocal and I see media becomming more outspoken and critical of rightwing policy and less sanitized or edited.
I see how Icke has helped me in the last 5 years to see things in a far more positive light!  I have made friends with all of the crazy info that he helped to bring to the surface, the kind of info thats on the Noble Realms forums for starters!  I look at the forums here and i see all kinds of theories and paranoias and every kind of conspiracy theory that exists, even more so than what I see on Icke's site.  Ickes headlines page simply offers a translation of mainstream headlines so that events in the world are more clearly understood.  Whats wrong with that?  I do see him offering hope, i dont see him offering a way out for as you yourself put it neomatrix its up to us to make a difference in the world!  From your letter it seems your expecting David to offer a solution to all this.  He is just one man, hes not perfect just like you!  He has asked us to stand up and walk the walk and get the message of truth out, ie: show others the manipulations and there is freedom in that!
Personally I found your letter to be full of the kind of stuff you are accusing Icke of.  The tone of your letter, the way it is written and the harsh language you used (not a big deal bnut its the way you used it) suggest to me a persojn who is using this letter to expand your own ego in a subtle way.  I sense a strong desire in your letter for others to see your point and go.. "Ahh, yes David really is full of shit, this guy is right".

Well i dont see it at all, like i said Ive made friends with all this info. I dont need to sit around in groups with others debating endlessley about conspiracy theories as you suggest Icke supporters do. I suggest that it is you yourself who does this fairly often on this site.
I am making a difference in this world, I point out things to people in a carefull way and gently open peoples eyes up to things.  This is a planet of immense variation in spiritual evolution.  There are a lot of people who dont seem to be ready for certain info or truths.  Also there are many who are and an increasingly larger amount who are every day.  You seem to think that if a person isnt offering a particular course of instructions to enlightenment then they are not helping.  Well I think youve just missed the point.  Each persons path is different, we each have to find our own way and its up to you and me and all of us, not one person.  So yes im a David Icke supporter and I almost wasnt for a time but I realised that now I am as much as ever, Im also a supporter of yourself, as you clearly feel strongly about helping people so therefore I support you too! and Montalk and all the wonderfull people here in this zany and loving forum.  BUT, i dont see Icke in the same light as you by any means.  I am now a person who is prepared to get up in front of a group of people and talk about how we can make a difference in this world.  One person can make a difference and thanks to icke I found the strength to do just that.  I petition local council, I write to good people in govt to support them, I show cancer sufferers that they dont have to die, (eat apricot kernals and apple seeds, no cancer anymore!).  I encourage friends and family to question the news, to not by from corporations, suppoort local businesses, by local produce, goto markets, grow your own food, make your own electricity, become self sufficient etc etc.  I went ot an Icke talk in wellington NZ where he said dont follow me, look for the truth within yourself.  Follow your gut feelings, dont be a sheep!

neomatrix wrote "“this reality that I live within is an illusion,…  but it’s a different thing entirely to demonstrate your understanding of this in your daily words and actions and interactions with other human beings."

? But Icke does demonstrate this in his daily words and actions, he really does walk the walk, do you neomatrix?

neomatrix wrote "They haven’t truly learned the value of allowance, of acceptance, of freedom, of uniqueness, and of experience."
neomatrix also wrote "And whilst some would say that knowledge is power, I’m here to tell you that this is absolute bullshit. I’m almost sorry to say this, Mr. Icke, but knowledge – of and by itself – means absolutely f*ck all: it is nothing more than an intellectual wankfest."

Neomatrix, when was the last time you... "go find a nice quiet place to sit down, then close your eyes and have a good hard think about yourself, about your opinions and beliefs, and about your place within the world."
Because you swear a lot, seem to posses quite a bit of anger and resentment and ego for that matter with regards to Icke.  Im quite astounded at the content of your letter.  I would suggest a person who uses the word f*** in the way you do isnt quite sure how to deal with anger or frustration at the world and you just dont get Icke in the way I think (its just my opinion) most of his supporters do.  Perhaps you have done a dis-service by not considering this infinite love concept a little bit more yourself?!
Personally Ive made use of this concept in so many ways its transformed my life.  I no longer feel the need to get upset or angry at anyone, Ive learned how to create my future simply by thinking about it in the right way, I can now manifest what i need simply by been strong in myself and knowledge IS power.

Neomatrix wrote "And so, for a good many years I enjoyed filling my brain with all manner of conspiracy facts and theories. It felt good to dismiss the responsibility for my species’ rapid deconstruction of every natural ecosystem on planet Earth by passing it off onto a race of evil reptilian/alien overlords. It is their fault that we are all acting this way, you said; it is their fault that we are all endlessly fighting against one another, because that is how they maintain their control over us."

Well I do belive that we were genetically tampered with, that we were tweaked to become more aggressive, have a shorter life span and fed lies by religeon to keep us in slavery and to ultimately fear death.  So yes I do feel aliens are to blame for making things a lot harder for us than they needed to be, but of course it is up to us to change that, after all its been proven that genetics and hormones can be overcome by will power and a change in thinking.

Neomatrix wrote "And whilst some would say that knowledge is power, I’m here to tell you that this is absolute bullshit. I’m almost sorry to say this, Mr. Icke, but knowledge – of and by itself – means absolutely f*ck all: it is nothing more than an intellectual wankfest. So whilst you continue to pump out one oversized book after another, each one endlessly repeating numerous facts and figures about who engaged in what conspiracy and when, and whilst your growing and fanatically loyal readership enjoys soaking this up in the misguided belief that they are becoming more and more ‘enlightened’ with every turn of the page, you might just fail to notice that things down here aren’t actually getting any better."

What do you expect, everything to just turn around and fix itself in the space of a few years?
Things are a lot better for me, Im a happier and more enlightened knowlegable person.  I was never a sheep, but I was sad and angry and frustrated with it all before I "got" Ickes message.  Now I am me, I am free, Ive learned how to become selfsuffient and be happy despite all the chaos.  Enjoy the ride, dont shoot the messenger. Thats all from me...

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

and lastly...  (reposted)

Just a last point...  as a teenager and in my early twenties growning up in this world i was a hurtfull, angry, jelous, bitter and often sad person, caring and easily upset, i was frustrated and fed up with all the hipocracy (excuse my spelling) and manipulation in this world.  I am a completely different person now as far as my feelings and general understanding of things.  Im happy, joyfull, caring, knowledgable and patient, generous and love all even those I once percived as enemies.  Like Icke, I love all creation, even Bush, for if he is a being with a soul, a spiritual connection then there is much pain and learning to come for him.  My life was very painfull, it can no longer be anymore. Im not afraid of death, of pain, of anything, as I do get it, the whole infinte love deal, what icke means by it all been illusion is that its not something to get upset about, you can do something about it but you dont have to get angry while you do it!  you dont have to be angry or mad at anyone for any reason.  Infinate love is the secret for me to been happy regardless.  And its not some airy fairy hippie day dream.  Its simply a way of not worrying or fearing anything, for worry or fear will not help.  Anyway those of you who know what im getting at ...Know what im getting at!  Its a little hard to explain in words for me..once u get it, u get it...

I know exactly what you are talking about. Simple awareness of your true being and surrendering to it in everything that you do. When you know that you are made out of infinite love, then you may also realize that your entire experience is also made up of different variations/pieces of that same infinite potential.

I am as is Void.

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Martin is right Sowelu, your position is not defendable, it is belief centered and not proveable. Concsciousness is a function of physical reality. Not the otherway around. If 3d is imprionsoning consciousness then it's supposed to. The problem is the definition of 3d. To defy definition is the most difficult thing. What is a fast car? Not believing in a diety is not an unheard of way of dealing with 3d, believing that Jesus came  back from the dead flies in the face of physics, and is not supported by the reality of 3d. Even if you hate it, 3d will continue after you leave this earthly plane. Money is like gravity, it doesn't care what you believe about it. Millionaires are also friendly, and are also a candy. It's the definition of human and human limits which is on the line. I refuse to define what we are capable of, but we don't live forever, we live when we live, and the money supplies the goods. Definition of existence is a real broad spectrum, all inclusive. God or no God, there is no contest, all of us together cannot piss off 3d. It doesn't care.  If you think a million dollars is made by hard work and dedication go try it. You'll be disappointed. My favorite this week is that one never wants to underestimate the abiltiy of the other guy to get lucky. ta

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Physical reality is a function/product of consiousness!
You got it round the wrong way.. to prove my point scientifically, read "The Holographic universe" by Michael Talbot or any new quantum physics and you will see that what we percieve as physical reality is really just waveforms and consiousness, our brain makes fourier transforms from waveforms into physicality just like a tv decodes via Fourier transform into a 2D picture on the screen.
Krazor said ..."believing that Jesus came  back from the dead flies in the face of physics"

um... no it doesnt, in fact if you look at modern science, its all pointing to the fact that everything has come from a non-physical state.  Watch the movie "What the Bleep do we know" to see what i mean.
these ideas of yours Krazor sound like self-limiting belief systems to me...

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Agreed, AwakeKiwi- reality is a "mass projection" or shared hallucination, depending on your inclination.

A simple search for "holographic universe" will produce plenty for initiation.

P.S. I read somewhere that some greys/ ets were amazed that we humans could remember every micro detail, everything's always where we remember it being, they thought it was uncanny.

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Hmmn, I won't get drawn into further defending my original post at this point. It was an opinion piece, nothing more, and has already served it's purpose in encouraging discussion of the points that I made therein, rather than getting into a useless debate about why I made those points to begin with. Bottom line, my opinion is my opinion, and is not subject to change just to suit anyone else's opinion. If you don't agree with me, fine. And if you don't like my usage of colorful language, I guess that's okay too, although I really don't understand why anyone would get so up in arms about a simple word. But that's just me.

Re-emphasizing this line:

The ultimate irony here is that Mr. Icke devotes an entire section of his book, "I am Me, I am Free" to discussing the word f u c k ...and society's prudish uptightness in regards to **GASP!!!* someone using it.    In a nutshell, he doesn't get the prudish attitude people have about it.  He states that it's just a word, and is prone to tossing it about himself.  So I think it's time to banish thee back to David Icke 101.  wink

I tend to agree with that stance overall...although I do realize that society has applied a connotation to the word, and it says stuff about people who like, toss about indiscriminantly in any old situation, etc. ETC.

But really, when it's all said and done, it's just word....

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Hmm...I prefer to use it sparingly myself (well, almost never, in fact).  Nothing wrong with the word itself, but when repeatedly used to express anger, it lowers the tone of one's expressions...as would any word used in a similar manner.

That said, I think Neomatrix expresses himself very well overall.

Re: an open letter to Neomatrix

Im not asking anyone to change their opionion, thats for sure, Im just giving mine, someone had a go at David Icke, and I had a go at defending him, thats all...  as for the f word, im not against it as an expression of surprise or something, like holy f***, or something, i just made an observation that the "tone" or the letter sounded pretty harsh, kinda mean... anyway whats done is done, opinions are opinions and i even felt a bit bad for critizing the letter myself even tho i was fairly reserved in my tone.
