Topic: The Potassium Conspiracy
http://joevialls.altermedia.info/potassium.html
Lots of interesting and possibly helpful information there concerning potassium. Turns out most americans are deficient in potassium, and this leads to a lot of problems that are later treated with designer drugs because doctors and patients are unaware of the real cause. This article suggests potassium is being purposely suppressed from public awareness and use, because it is such an important mineral. Read the article for more info.
I keep coming across info relating to potassium:
- there was an article reprinted in Valerian's Leading Edge journal about how hunter-gatherer humans ate a diet that was far higher in potassium than the modern diet. Here's another article which recaps what I remember reading:

- friend of mine knew a doctor/author who a decade or more ago stumbled upon the importance of a high potassium to sodium ratio in the diet, wrote a book about it, and attempted to market a specially formulated salt that would help accomplish this (the salt is better and more absorbable than potassium chloride, the stuff you find in common salt-substitutes).
But at the time, his book got suppressed and his potassium salt attempt was sabotaged. I just searched the web and think I've found the guy and his book, which he now has co-authored and is releasing as a "new" book (no mention of his salt substitute though):

- I'm trying out the alkalizing diet, and just read some info about how those on this diet need to increase their potassium due to the way alkalizing food affects body chemistry. So anyone trying out the pH balancing diet, take note of this.
- the C's mentioned how a "mineral rich in alfalfa" had certain effects upon human bodies. It's commonly known that horses who fed on alfalfa developed greater endurance and vitality, and alfalfa is indeed known as a miracle food. So this mineral in alfalfa could have a corresponding effect upon people. Alfalfa contains high levels of calcium, phosphorus, and potassium - with potassium being the greatest one found in alfalfa. Calcium we can get elsewhere, phosphorus is found in our DNA and bones and has been implicated in spontaneous human combustion, but given the above links, I think potassium would be a good candidate for what the C's were talking about. Not that we should take channeled beings' word for it, just thought I'd throw this in for trivia.
