Topic: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

A former Canadian Minister of Defence has joined forces with three Non-governmental organizations to ask the Parliament of Canada to hold public hearings on with Alien “ET”  Civilizations. Paul Hellyer, Canada’s Defence Minister from 1963-67 under Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prime Minister Lester Pearson, publicly stated: "UFOs, are as real as the airplanes that fly over your head." Hellyer warned, "The United States military are preparing weapons which could be used against the aliens, and they could get us into an intergalactic war without us ever having any warning. Mr. Hellyer went on to say, "I'm so concerned about what the consequences might be of starting an intergalactic war, that I just think I had to say something." “Time is on the side of open disclosure that there are ethical Extraterrestrial civilizations visiting Earth,”  a spokesperson for the Non-Governmental Organizations stated. “Our Canadian government needs to openly address these important issues of the possible deployment of weapons in outer war plans against ethical Extraterrestrial societies.“

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

The proposed Decade of Contact is “a 10-year process of formal, funded public education, scientific research, educational curricula development and implementation, strategic planning, community activity, and public outreach concerning our terrestrial society’s full cultural, political, social, legal, and governmental communication and public interest diplomacy with advanced, ethical Off-Planet cultures now visiting Earth.–º

Is this: a) a proposed massive government-sponsored disinfo campaign,
or b) an honest effort to get to the bottom of things (in which case it would likely be spiked and not go anywhere)

??

hmm.

Edit: i just reread this and took notice of the (strategic) placement of the world 'ethical', in reference to ET's.  Option (a) scores big points.

I was at a friend's house today and Fox News Channel was tuned in.  They covered this story ("covered" meaning for about 20 seconds), and the graphic in the top corner of the screen said something like "Canadian Looney?" or something like that.

interesting... (b) scores some points.  wink

in all likelyhood it's probably (c), whatever that is.  (it's always c with multiple choice questions tongue)

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

Since this guy is "warning" us about the U.S. possibly "starting" an interstellar war,  I think this might be a form of manipulation.   Reason:  all the available evidence out there indicates that there already is a war -- an invasion -- going on.    The effect that this kind of "warning" seems intended to produce is 1) to ridicule the idea of aliens yet again, and 2) for those that do believe in aliens, to get them to think in terms of "avoiding conflict" with these "ethical" aliens.  In other words, get people to think in terms of peace and friendship, when the aliens are actually a very serious threat to the entire human race.

I also think that the very fact that this story is getting covered on Fox News Channel and major print news services -- the mainstream media -- in and of itself is a big warning sign that something's not right here.

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

Yes, I see the possibilities for manipulation.

I tend to also see the more basic level - this is a government official talking about the reality of an alien presence.

Not just any government official, but a former Canadian Minister of Defence.

I think that is significant.  In general, I think that we are enabled by the awakening process of becoming aware of the possibility of non-human intelligent beings in this world.

Fear tactics do exist around an "alien invasion" but I think the alien invasion may already be occurring, and to the extent that people are aware of it, the better off we are.

If it comes to a full scale media assisted "invasion" of earth, then I think that we may be near an "end game" scenario.

As I have said before, I feel that the "end game" on this planet is very likley on the positive path.

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

Paul Hellyer is now 82 but is still compos mentis and very active and passionate about what he does. He has nothing to lose by speaking out. He hasn't been in government for at least 30 years but has always been a bit of a political nomad, wandering from the Liberals to the Conservatives and then starting his own nationalist party.

He has always opposed missile defence and "Star Wars" and also continental trade treaties (NAFTA etc., because they surrender sovereignty to higher bodies) and has admitted he believes in UFOs. In 1967, he officially opened a UFO landing pad in St. Paul, Alberta, part of Canada's centennial and a bit of a welcome mat to the aliens if they wanted to visit.

It's difficult to see how he would have any agenda other than what it appears to be, and if anyone wanted to make him their dupe, he would be a poor choice because among mainstream media and politicians he is easily marginalized to the loony fringe (as would be expected when the message is unwelcome).

He said what really convinced him most recently was reading Philip Corso's book on Roswell and he then spoke to a retired U.S. general who said "it's all true and more."

The Canadian Senate will not be taking him up on his kind offer to probe the alien threat. They have more important things to do, like snooze, in the sleepy chamber of sober second thought.

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

Good Lord.

His name is Hellyer!?

Hell Yeah.

Seems to me that so many possibilities are being primed now. Perhaps it is up to us, once again, to choose en masse, the outcome.

Maybe we should not feed that mentality. Thinking that that is likely might make it more likely. The whole energy follows thought thing et cetera.

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

I could make my post longer than necessary, but I'll try not to.

My opinion on ANY talk of "alien invasions", by any "important"
person, is that it's disinformation. "Star Wars" missile defense,
same thing. The REAL threat, being "hidden" within hyperbole,
is more likely to be a "meteor storm" than anything else. MHO.
Space-based weapons are intended for incoming objects - not
large ones, but a bunch of small ones. The "chain craters" that
grace our planet's surface, speak to this possibility. Invocation
of the train meme via public transportation "issues" worldwide,
even the Sri Lankan "Queen of the Sea" train which was hit by
the Sumatran Tsunami, speak to this possibility. In addition to,
the desire of "TPTB" to make people hesitant to use any public
transportation (planes, trains, busses) because there will come
a time in which being on one will be very dangerous. Okay, I'd
better heed my word and ensure this post remains "short"!! smile

Re: Canadiam minister of defense on aliens/ufos

Speaking of famous people and UFOs, saw this recently:

Pop icon Robbie Williams is not only convinced that aliens do exist, but also that they will soon visit us.

Robbie has been having some dream experiences with aliens almost every night lately; moreover, he has told kids that in the next seven years they will most certainly witness the arrival of our elusive siblings.

"I've been dreaming about UFOs every night. I can't wait to go to sleep
at night because those dreams have been so brilliant. I think they are definitely on their way, seriously. Mark my words. From now until 2012 - watch out kids!" the pop star said, according to The Sun.

Robbie Williams mentioned in a radio interview he would love to be a ghostbuster or an UFO person.

-----------

British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is convinced Earth is on the verge of experiencing an alien invasion.

The MILLENNIUM hitmaker dreams about extra-terrestrials every night - and he wants to help his fans prepare for contact with visitors from another planet.

------------------------------------
Singer Robbie Williams believes San Francisco was saved from a huge natural disaster - by aliens.
The pop heartthrob has revealed he used to have a recurring dream that the US city, which has a history of devastating earthquakes, was being destroyed and he had to save it, according to entertainment portal femalfirst.

Robbie has now confessed the premonitions have stopped and he has been told that extra-terrestrials prevented the potentially fatal disaster.

He told Britain's Times 2 magazine: "Latest news about San Fran is aliens fixed it. That's seriously what I heard - they fixed the fault."

It is not the first time Robbie has admitted to extra terrestrial beliefs.

Last month, the "Tripping" singer claimed the world would soon be invaded by little green men and warned fans to be prepared.

(various sources)

Have a hunch that some "important" people in government, media, and entertainment, are being programmed by alien/military factions to be PR folks for "first contact".

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.
