Topic: US health questions

Hi i believe that childhood vaccinations in the US are mandatory for school entrance thus parents can be prosecuted. In  the UK and we have a choice and my 3 darlings are non vaccinated.
How do people get on with this  in the US? are there any loopholes, do people have to cave in under so much pressure and fear, i really feel for folks out there who are denied this basic freedom.

On a similar issue, does Bush's mental health laws mean that US people who are diagnosed with mental illness do not have a right to choose their own treatment but forced to take Pharma drugs?

Cheers

Re: US health questions

So far, parent's right to refuse vaccinations is still intact, but the pressure is pretty high to have kids vaccinated.  You just have to sign an exemption.  I don't know the current status of Bush's 'No Child Left Undrugged' Campaign.

Re: US health questions

Home schooling yes, i really wish we could home school, i feel somewhat guilty for having to send them to a state school  under the influence of the educators.
I try to balance the nonsence and indoctrination they learn at school by trying to get them to question  things and talk to them about spiritulaty and brainwashing and stuff but i still feel guilty.
The only other option  was a local private Steiner School but we could not afford the fees.
