Topic: Everyone, please take this test... part 2

from the newstarget gullibility test:

There is no cure for cancer.
FALSE. There are, in fact, many proven cures for cancer used all around the world with excellent results. Nearly every indigenous culture has at least one cure for cancer, including the American Indians, Australian Aboriginees, Peruvian natives, and so on. The U.S. cancer industry simply doesn't want anyone to know cures exist because it profits from the management of cancer (i.e. dependence on drugs, chemo, radiation, etc.). Promotion of alternative cures would deprive the U.S. cancer establishment of its power and profits. This is also why today's cancer industry virtually ignores genuine cancer prevention and, instead, focuses on treatment (drugs and surgery). To learn the real story, read Dr. Samuel Epstein's new book Cancer-Gate, or visit the cancer page on NewsTarget.com.

Before I get into delving into this subject, I thought I would post this to see if anyone has had or knows personally of experiences with healing cancer by "alternative" means.

I learned about 10 days ago that my friend's mom found out she has leukemia - and, on that same day she also found out that her son (my friend) had been imprisoned for being on the fringes of some illegal activity (something to do with the border, i'm not sure on the whole story and wouldn't divulge anyways out of respect).  She is in good spirits and that is a fantastic thing.  (As for her son / my friend, it's definitely part of his learning experience here i'm sure.)

I'm not sure if I want to set out to "find her a cure" like on a mission (though if that will happen it will happen)... but I thought it couldn't hurt to edu-ma-cate myself on the topic.  Aside from the 2 great references listed above, anyone have suggestions of where to start / personal anecdotes they'd like to share / etc?

cheers smile

Well there is Cancer Tutor, where some interesting cures and treatments apparently exist.  I'm not sure as to their actual effectiveness, as I've yet to meet anyone who has or had cancer and tried any alternative treatments.

I agree it's something people need to get interested and involved in, though.  We can't just sit around and wait for the medical establishment to cure us.  That's not exactly their business.  If it were, they would no longer be *in* business.

One member of my family has told me that he knew someone personally whos life was saved by an 'alternative' cancer cure - doctors told the person she would die and everything . . . she did not die, the cancer left and she lived.

I do not know the method of curing the person, but I do know that the person decided NOT to do chemotherapy.

I am as is Void.

Three years ago my wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  She had been lethargic and then, one day, began bleeding.  The doctors told her that they wanted to begin chemo and radiation immediately.

She got a second opinion, a third, and then her fourth doctor was willing to roadtest herbal cures with her--on the condition that she'd agree to (the absolute) minimum of chemo.  My wife agreed.

Her case was advanced, and they scheduled surgery right away--the tumors were just smaller than golfballs.

In three weeks' time, using Black Walnut Hull Extract, Wormwood, Clove, and Pau D'Arco, and eating mostly raw green leafy veggies, the tumors shrunk by more than half--much to the amazement of the oncologist and colleagues.

During that time, my wife also did acupuncture two times and saw a therapist.

They did the surgery, removed the tumors and she (my wife) administered the lowest dosage of chemo to herself at home by pill.  The surgery was much easier than it would have been, and she was able to keep her left ovary. smile

She continued the herbal regimen for a few months and is now in remission three years later.  The only lingering symptom has been anemia, which improves with eating beets/altering her diet.

Her doctor tried to publish the result of the treatment, only to be turned down by every journal.

Also, her doctor expected the left ovary--although it was saved--to become non-productive.  To her doc's further surprise, the ovary began functioning within three months or so and my wife began regular menstruation again.

Ah!  Totally forgot about this, too.

My friend, and my dad's friend, was diagnosed with colon cancer about seven years ago.

He did the mainstream thing and then, a year later or so, had cancer again.  He was hospitalized, surgically explored, probed, the whole bit and told after some time that he had two months to live.

My dad, who is something of an herbalist, told my friend to begin drinking organic grapefruit juice like gangbusters.  He also provided Pau D'Arco and I forget what other herbs.  Our friend did and his cancer disappeared and the doctors, told what he had decided to do on his own initiative, said, "Oh, well, that couldn't have anything to do with it..." and chalked it up to "a miracle."

My friend credits the healing to the grapefruit juice.  He's been in complete remission since.

Pau d'Arco is supposed to be one of the best.  It even works with other treatments like chemo to lessen their effects.

My only personal story is that my grandfather survived about ten years with cancer, died at age 92.  He didn't follow an alternative therapy per se, he just always had been a health buff and had a positive attitude towards life.
