Re: Pole Shift Happens

I wasn't going to post this because it seemed trivial -- but just last week I watched a small flock of Canada Geese flying south. It was their honking that alerted me. Trez cool. I thought, okay winter is around the corner, as those birds are one of nature's most reliable predictors of winter coming, or winter's over and spring's coming. Yesterday my hub also saw a small flock, ditto.

Then today, he saw another flock flying in their typical V formation, but going north, not south. Unusual to be sure, but does it really mean anything? They forgot something?

I'm not sure, but I just know that we went ahead and got out Montalk's military compass and set it on top of one of our bookshelves to keep an eye on.   smile

I wonder if the mere act of anticipation, and knowing dates, changes anything?  It's that weird phenomenon of knowing and anticipating, causing stuff to not happen...

Re: Pole Shift Happens

And if something fails to happen, how would you know it was averted or whether it never was to happen to begin with? That's a common and reasonable question.

Regarding personal events, however, I noticed that anything of an emotionally charged nature is preceded by a buildup of various types of dream/synchronistic "signs" and "trends".  This happens often enough that when these signs appear to me, I can be sure that the emotionally charged event soon manifests. Often these situations are beyond my control and therefore it's not just self-fulfilling prophecy.

But if I act on these signs and go out of my way to anticipate the most probable outcomes, then most often the signs subside and then nothing unusual happens. I have tried both letting it flow and stopping the flow often enough to conclude that a probable future can be averted through awareness and anticipation.

So maybe this is true on a larger scale. Which is more unusual, that an event should happen, or that an event should not happen given the current signs and trends? For instance, given that dark clouds are looming over head and you hear thunder, it is more unusual for it not to rain. But if the sky is blue, then no rain is normal.  There's just enough to the magnetic pole flip idea to catch my interest, but not enough to show whether a non-event was will be due to aversion or not.

One of the indicators would be animals. They are known for reacting ahead of time to tornadoes, volcanic erruptions and earthquakes. Our cat also reacts to what must be alien beings lurking around in the etheric prior to an attempted abduction or some sort of psychic manipulation. Impatiens, thanks for sharing that observation about the one flock of birds flying north.

Well, guess we're gonna find out on Friday!  big_smile  (all eyes are peering at the weekend, with furitive looks....

That's my attempt to construct a furitive glance to the side, since there's no corresponding emoticon.   big_smile

Seriously, it's all probably just a bunch of hooey.  Come Sunday, I'll be tossing my pendulum out the window.  Well, I won't do that, it's too pretty.  wink   It will become a nice decoration that hangs from my car's rearview mirror!

Re: Pole Shift Happens

Yes, at least this may be a good test of the penduluum.  I'm glad you brought it up.  We're all just experimenting and trying different things to make sense of things, so you could never look foolish to us.

Re: Pole Shift Happens

I just used the pendulum for this question and got a firm "No."  Well, as Lyra sez., we shall see...

Oh, and I'm glad you brought up the subject of emoticons, Lyra.  Why can't we have a glorious selection like they do at GLP? big_smile

It's weird, it's such a mixed bag -  My off-forum NR friend doesn't sense that it's going to be magnetic field-related in nature either, however....she does know that something is going to happen, was advised not to fly during this time period, and her and her husband have even made personal preparations such as stocking up on non-perishable foods...even cleaning their gun!   Which she said was unusual for them, because they don't normally do that sort of thing or have "that mindset."  She believes it will be a series of natural disasters, kicking off this month.     I on the other hand, got from my pendulum that it wasn't necessary to stock up on food, and the bottled water I bought wasn't necessary really either, although it will certainly be put to use.   Contradictions!   I don't have a 'feel' for anything in particular though, to be honest.   Then again, 9/11 completely blindsided me too, so, I guess that doesn't really mean much then!  big_smile

Oh, the confusion!  If anything, this will be a good test to see what works and what doesn't in terms of predictions....

I have to admit to not having a clue about their emoticons, cause I don't frequent that board.  I actually puzzled over what GLP meant for a bit, then finally came up with "Godlike Productions."

Re: Pole Shift Happens

This just in...

Heard from my off-forum buddy;  I had mentioned to her a few days ago how there seemed to be all these synchronicities falling into place for me and others which indicated that there would be a major "October Surprise" you could say;  but on the other hand....I realize that sometimes, false synchronicities are orchestrated, in order to mess with people and whatnot.  (Reminds me a bit of "The Mothman Prophesies", actually.....)  Here's what she said, which I thought was cool:   "I agree about the false synchronic flow and I think that always comes as a result of weak thinking on some level…we are ‘attacked’ where we are deficient and if there are unconscious parts of attached to outcomes, storylines and the like we will see proof of these things all over giving us the choice to empower that which we believe or shift it."

Some food for thought!

It does kind of feel like we're living out our own version of "The Mothman Prophesies" though, probably why I enjoyed the book so much.  wink

Re: Pole Shift Happens

Definitely food for thought. I've gotten caught up in synchronistic whirlpools before. Often, what I expected to play out never did... and then something completely unanticipated happens (but, not totally unrelated.) Lyra, your friend's reminder to stay cognizant of the part we play in our own synchronic events is a good one. Though, I'll be glued to this thread to see if anything else pops up for any of you. Especially since I have to fly the end of this month!

They can be treated like any pic you want to post.

Funny!

Re: Pole Shift Happens

I've seen a number of news reports lately of odd smells all over the place.  Some are sulfurous or smell like sewage.  I'm going to start keeping track of these!

Re: Pole Shift Happens

Okay, well, maybe this can be added to "The Solofleks File of Strange and Unusual Smells" big_smile  but yesterday I was commenting to Tom that the air had an interesting smell to it, and breathed in a few times, and he commented, "Hm, smells like yeast."   Like bread yeast or something.  I started laughing, because it seemed so wacky, like where'd that come from?  But now after reading this thread I'm like, hmmmm!

I don't know.  To be honest, it didn't smell bad to me, or like bread yeast, and a total far cry from lipstick or sewage big_smile  but who knows, maybe it's something.

Re: Pole Shift Happens

Lyra, have you tried testing about the magnetic pole shift recently?   I'm just wondering if you're still getting the same date?   The reason I ask is because - last Tuesday I was beyond exhausted all day, and then that evening, I muscle tested about whether or not it would really happen.  I got that it would, Friday the 14th.  Then I did a bunch of muscle testing/ energy work that I normally do to clear and heal things.  I felt so much better, like all this heaviness was lifted.  Then when I tested about it again, I was surprised to get that it wouldn't happen Friday.   The testing seemed very clear to me.  Hmmm, I'll have to check later on and see what I get.  Kind of strange, huh?

ETA - For what it's worth, I've been getting that it will probably happen 3-4 weeks from now.  Of course that's subject to change, also.
