No, but for the kind of person reading this forum, it might just be a manipulation too. I've had that in my own life. Now that I've learned to recognize these "drawing forces" as something external (not originating within myself) my question becomes "who's behind it, and why?" Since higher forces come in positive and negative varieties, it becomes an important question. Karla Turner talked about this in "Masquerade of Angels" when the subject of that book felt compelled to move to New Mexico. It's an interesting subject, thanks for posting C's comments on it.
Exactly. I've had this too - compulsions to move to certain areas, compulsions to suddenly take a trip out of nowhere to some area for no apparant reason.
At the time, I wasn't aware or educated about the nature of abductions, and what was happening to me. Now that I am, I'm more cautious, and question EVERYTHING.
Not to say that everything has some sinister meaning behind it, or that everything ties into manipulation and abductions. Many people don't have this going on, and may be attracted to an area for good, positive reasons. But for those who do happen to have that sort of stuff going on, you have to keep this in mind.
At this stage I would definitely question, "Why Japan?" It seems though that many can't actually answer that. It's just a "feeling." A "tug", a "draw." But if you can, please take a moment to sit down and think things through. Try to remember when this call / draw / tug to Japan began for you. Can you pinpoint when it started? What triggered it? A movie? A conversation with a friend? A dream? Meeting someone(s) from Japan? A picture? A book or article? A lifelong desire dating back to childhood? Was it sudden, or gradual?
Next, think about the pros and cons of moving there, as many as you can come up. Would it be truly beneficial to move there? If so, why? What would you get from Japan that you're not getting in your present location? Is it the culture? The food/diet/way of life? The people? The scenary/architecture/landscape? Something spiritual?
Can whatever it is that you're attracted to in Japan be duplicated or re-created in your present life? Can you take what you like about Japan and bring it home to where you are now?
And most importantly, what area of Japan are you drawn to? The cities, such as Tokyo? The suburbs / rural areas? And if so, why?
I can say from a detached, common-sense perspective as someone who has no push or pull either way regarding Japan that geologically speaking, it's a "Hot Spot." It seems to me to be more risky and dangerous to move to Japan than California. It's part of the Pacific "Ring of Fire" on a point where tectonic plates are always shifting and submerging.
Not to be cyncical, but could people be drawn to move to an area that's destined to be destroyed...thus taking them down too in the process? (The same way that many people might be getting herded into Israel before it possibly gets nuked. No bueno.)
Again, I'm not trying to put a damper on things. Just trying to insert some common sense caution, from someone who also has experienced tugs and draws to move to certain areas.
In my own case, I experienced intense desires to move to the Southwest, be it NM or AZ. One time in 1996 I was drawn to drive out to Flagstaff/Sedona AZ when I had two days off from work. People kept asking me, "Why are you going there??" I would shrug and say "I don't know...I just feel like going."
Well, I'm 99.9999% positive now that once I got settled into Flagstaff I was abducted that night. My urge to go there was to get me as close as possible to what I would later find out is some big time major underground bases going on in that area.
There are more examples, but, that's a good one that gets the point across. Anyway, just some stuff to consider.
