Re: Hurricane Rita

Hi All --

Happy to report -- my sister and family DID leave Houston (talk about being under a gun to make a change) AND did make it pretty quickly to their place near Austin.  Her husband is a good 'ole
Arkansas <g> boy who took side road, dirt roads, corn fields, to get out of town.

Krazor -- your ideas sound plausible enough -- although I am not scientifically etc oriented at all -

Energy - there you go again -- getting caught up in details <g> like how slowing Rita down will intensifiy her -- it is my INTENTION that is the key here.  The intention to be to have Rita cause LESS damage -- isn't that clearly a duh?

And ... she is slower ... why?  Who knows, cares or even wants to "figure" (think, think think) it out.  At this point, it just "is" ...

So -- if you want to, can, etc ... today (Friday) at 9, 3, 9 and midnight! -- and geesch ... it doesn't really matter if miss the time ... I did yesterday at 9 ... remembered at 9:15 ...

Thanks --

Hey, Christine... you remember the saying "God helps those who help themselves" ?

That's all... nothing more to add. big_smile

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.

Whenever I think about time constraints and intentions, I just think "Hell, I'm sure my thoughts can transcend even time."  Helps to get the nagging doubts about possibilities out of my noggin.  So I say, just project your thoughts forwards or backwards without getting bogged down with the physics.

Re: Hurricane Rita

If I do say so myself, that was *B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L*.  Let's see, so far it looks like deaths were minimized; the damage was moderate; Rita slowed just enough so that it didn't look suspicious, inviting some fake 2nd coming; and the government still ended up looking inept.  I can imagine lots of people starting to wonder what would have happened had Rita not slowed down and changed course.  I also saw a mental image last night of people trying to set off bombs in some of the refineries.  Not sure about it though.   It'll be a little time before the details are in to be sure of all this, but it looks really good so far.  It's one of those things where it is impossible to know for certain what impact this group intention had, but in the end that is not really important.  It was still beautiful.

How about we end this with a big outpouring of love and gratitude energy to the waters of the Gulf?

Never Give Up!

Not so fast, giga watts on the water. Seems Rita is doing a button hook and could reemerge in the gulf. Rita II.  Sequels always xuck.

Re: Hurricane Rita

Looks like there was more to "Rita" than I thought:

Global Research wrote:

There are indications that the Bush Administration is preparing to enact far-reaching emergency procedures in response to Hurricane Rita, which could potentially lead the country into a situation of Martial Law.

Following his visit to Texas on September 23,  President Bush traveled together with DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff to The Peterson Air Force Base, at the headquarters of US Northern Command in Colorado Springs.

He spent the night of September 23 at Colorado Springs and was at US NorthCom headquarters on the morning of the 24th of September, when Hurricane Rita hit the Texas-Louisiana coastline.

I can't find this anywhere.  What are your sources?

Re: Hurricane Rita

Evening NRers,

Just returned after a grueling weekend, moving my boss, spent 12 hours yesterday helping the movers -- yikes.

Watched the Hurricane Rita coverage on TV at my motel -- good news/bad news.  Good news --
for whatever reason <grin> the hurricane caused far less damage than anticipated, was down to a Cat 3 when she landed ... etc.

Bad news:  The media seemed terribly disappointed that things were not worse - TV is worse than I remembered.  Pathetic actually.

IF Bush et al uses the hurricane and lack of preparedness to create more laws, more control it's nothing new -- controlling powers use everything/anything as a "reason" to control more.

Doesn't really matter in the end IF we stay awake, use discernment and just keep on going on ...

Love,
Christine
