Topic: Hurricane Rita
Hello again NRers -- I must say I missed you all ...
Now -- Hurricane Rita is slamming her way to Texas, where my dearest sister, niece and brother live. When disaster strikes close to home, I have to admit I'm still a bit more moved than when it's "over there" --- in any case it got me really thinking.
As in --- why couldn't we "hurricane bust?" -- like cloud busting?
Probably because it's too big, too mean, too nasty -- but wait -- there are at last count 550+ NRs - that must count for something?
PLUS, it gauls me that this hurricane and it's "excellent" response this time is going to perhaps boost Dubyas numbers and make Americans forget the tragedies of New Orleans.
So ... here's my idea ... lets slow it down. Lets take it from a 5 - whether man made, nature made or hyperdimensionally enhanced -- and just reduce it to a 2 when it hits land, regardless where along the Texas Coast.
Initially I had thought to ask to change her course but that is highly unfair because even in a greatly reduced population base, the damage would be severe.
IF we can do this, great. IF we cannot, well, we have more to learn about how to change things.
But, we can at least start.
Sounds very la-la but not more la-la than cloud busting --just a bigger scale, to me.
So --- how about every 6 hours -- starting at 9AM EST, 3PM, 9 PM, Thursday - repeating same on Friday ... put your attention on the area, on the Hurricane and just intend her to slow down?
Maybe pulling her back or whatever feels right to you. That doesn't feel to me like we'd be playing with changing destiny -- I can't imagine this probably man made/enhanced creation can be remotely called destiny --
Thanks --
Love,
Christine B.
