Topic: The Mystery of Jesus

As most of you probably know, there is a good amount of controversy over whether the one known as Jesus was a real person.
And reading in the metaphysical texts about this, we get a variety of versions of this story.  For example, Seth said that Jesus existed as three personages, and that none of them died on the cross; Ra said that Jesus was an enlightened healer who incarnated with the plan of martyrdom, implying that he did indeed die on the cross.  The C's say that Jesus' powers and understanding came from his total and complete faith in his connection to a higher source (which according to them was in 6D and that the C's themselves were involved in that). I don't know whether they have addressed the question of whether he died on the cross.

On the other hand, we have the mystic Neville Goddard, a writer and lecturer in the 20's/30's, who maintained that the Bible was a symbolic drama, not intended to be taken literally, and that this included the character of Jesus.  The many fantastical stories in the Bible such as
the travails of Job, Johah and the whale, etc., seem to bear this out.
Then there's books such as The Bible Fraud by Tony Bushby, which sets out to prove that Jesus never existed.

So many divergent points of view!  I myself would like to think that Jesus was a real person and that he did possess a transcendent understanding and a mastery of the spritual and physical realms.
What do you guys think?  Is there any way we can be sure Jesus was a real person whose character closely approximated the Biblical character?
Or do we have to go solely on our intuition?

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

This is one good reason why channeled information is usually ignored by me. Much of it is way too conflicting and contradictory. As far as Jesus himself goes, I'm personally sold on the idea that he's an entirely fictional creation, whose legends are based on the deeds of earlier mythological figures from Egypt, Greece, India, and Sumeria. Proof of this assertion can be found in numerous books and on various websites, although the writings of Acharya S are still probably the best available on the subject.

Well, the C's said he was whisked away in a UFO!   smile  I'm being serious!   They went on to say that Jesus is in 5D, and basically whenever "he" is needed he replicates himself (like a hologram I suppose...) so that his energy / being can be used infinitely by all who need it.   Interesting.  And I know I'm not explaining it correctly, so maybe later I'll do a search in the transcripts, see if I can find it to post it here.

There's also David Icke's writings which show the parallels between Jesus and Mary and Isis and Horus, as well as all the other religious historical figures throughout the ages whose stories that are identical to Jesus'.   I remember when I read that it gave me a pause.  A BIG pause.   I didn't know there were so many other religious characters who all had the same story of being born to a virgin, then developing mystical powers, then dying and being reborn again, etc. and so on.

In the end I don't think it matters if he was real or not.  What matters is that over the past 2,000 years, Man has focused so much energy into the idea of a Jesus that he has essentially become real.  (in the other realms.)   Thought is energy, and energy forms lifeforms and critters in the astral / etheric.   With that many millions of people over a 2,000 year period focusing their thoughts and prayers to this "Jesus" character you can imagine what that has created in the etheric!!!   One massively powerful thought form!!!

Many here know from personal experience that invoking the name of Jesus when experiencing an abduction / astral / entity attack will usually cut it off, right then and there.   There are stories about facing off with the demonic alien beasties by yelling about Jesus.  They recoil and flee.   So whether or not he's real I guess is a moot point.....his name certainly does some serious damage to the negative beasties!  big_smile

So why is this then?  Why would a mere name have this effect.....and one that might be attached to someone who never existed, no less!   ?   Well again, it's because regardless of whether he ever physically existed, he has now become a very real energy form in the other realms which can be tapped into..............................................by anyone.   Anyone, no matter what religious persuasion they are can reach out to this energy form and call upon it if needed.   And I think that ties into what the C's said, in a way.

Well, you seem to be explaining it just fine, but would be interested in anything further you post on this.

Whisked away in a UFO, cool! So I guess you could say he was "raptured." smile  Re what the C's say about Jesus' energy always being available to all, this is a tenet of the Christian religion as well, and Jesus is quoted in the Bible as saying: ". . I am with you always, even to the ends of the earth" (Matthew 28:20).

Yup, sounds like an archetype from the collective unconscious, which also gives credence to Neville's theory that the Bible stories are myth.

Yes, and Seth said that God was an idea, but that we needed to realize the power and reality of this kind of idea.  Same thing with Jesus.

Many here know from personal experience that invoking the name of Jesus when experiencing an abduction / astral / entity attack will usually cut it off, right then and there.   There are stories about facing off with the demonic alien beasties by yelling about Jesus.  They recoil and flee.   So whether or not he's real I guess is a moot point.....his name certainly does some serious damage to the negative beasties!  big_smile

Except if we are to believe the C's, Jesus was a real person.

Well, if I'm ever abducted by the astral nasties, I'll remember that about yelling out Jesus' name.  More convenient than carrying a can of mace, that's for sure. smile

When I was in a difficult relationship with my son's dad (this was about 15 years ago), I started to seriously explore spiritual/metaphysical teachings for the first time,
and I recalled how I felt a connection to Jesus when I was in Catholic
school as a girl.  For our First Holy Communion, we sang a song of which I could only remember the words:  "Jesus, Jesus, come to me, All my longing is for thee."  Those words resonated with me at that time and I think they helped me through the dissolving and resolving of that relationship.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

Not to throw a wrench into the works, but early in my awakening I had an experience with an awful, large black blob entity pulling me off my bed, by my physical toe, while in a meditative state. I had the paralysis thing and all. The week before I had been at a psychic fair where I was offered an invocation calling on Jesus for help, which she gave me saying I'd need it soon (ain't that just the way?).

Being naive about it all and completely unstudied in these things, as this event was happening and I felt palpible fear, I recited the Jesus invocation I memorized from that card and heard clear as day coming from within me (remember I'd just been in deep meditation),

"You must do this for yourself. It is your power, alone, that heals your life. Remember." I got this sense of there being nothing outside the Self in which to cling or fight or any of that, in truth, and that the event transpiring then must be "me" as well. The message seemed to come from "me" as well, though a much wiser me, to be sure. LOL!

So I stood up, yelled "NO!" telepathically, and told this entity that we were doing it my way from now on. I stepped toward it and embraced it. It felt awful to "take in" that energy, especially since I'd been rejecting and denying it for so long that it had grown a life of it's own, so to speak. tongue (I had a habit back then of refusing to get angry or express anything negative - HA! so much for that idea!)

That experience began my path of deep emotional healing, with an emphasis on revealing to my conscious mind the "dark energies" - rejected, denied, hidden parts of self - in a way that gave that dark energy a new voice and transformed it all to awareness. A deeper awareness than anything I've read or seen since. When we let that dark energy move through us with the intent to "see it for what it really is", it's amazing what's revealed. And so The Law of One, along with Symbolic Perception using The Mirror Model and The Law of Attraction became my main tools for understanding absolutely anything.

All that to say that while it may assist to invoke Jesus for some (depending on where someone is in their growth, I guess), there is a deeper level of truth behind why it might ever work, or didn't in my case; "He" represents a part of us, our Divinity, that we must claim as ourself at some point on the journey. To the degree we can do that, we gain true sovereign status and open to our Divine potential, I seem to sense.

So whether he lived as an actual being, a composite being or not at all seems a bit bside the point at this stage of things. But maybe that's just how I see it, given my own experiences.

There's an interesting article on Daniel Jacob's site that sort of fits this discussion, from The Reconnections:

I also had an experience where I "defeated" negative energy by accepting it was a part of me.  Everybody needs to look there first before the conspiracies start popping up about aliens and whatnot, or else they're stuck with what they've run away from in the first place: a literal and ignorant religion of sorts.  A good indicator would be, like you said, repression, where you can't disagree or you always make excuses for what others do even if you believe it is not right, or too much negativity in one's daily affairs, where everyone else is an idiot or wrong or "not one of us, bad vibes" if they dissent.  The mind gene pool is getting too small, and retardation is starting to crop up in your thought-children.

----------------------------

I personally don't worry about whether Jesus was a real person or not, even though I call myself a Christian and most Christians feel that being a Christian means accepting that he died for our sins in the literal sense.  I think the first stage is learning these stories and then learning about them gnostically.  Most people, to have any sort of spiritual life, it must be very literal or they just can't cling onto it, but the dogma does its job to open up the possibilities to them.  Mainstream, literal religion is all a lot of people have, but I think it serves a purpose if you keep growing.

I called on Jesus once, and it did relieve the experience I was having for a second, but it came right back, so I don't know.  But, ultimately, I believe Christ is a representation of the Self and the literal belief in Jesus is an archetype that carries this truth, hence the energy behind the name and why it works.

I guess we'll all see come Judgment Day!  It'll be interesting to find out for sure, and I'll gladly eat crow to know the truth.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

There are so many things in the Bible that they could not possibly have known 1600+ years ago, and so many things prophecied that are happening right now, that they could not even envisaged back then, that convinces me that the Bible must have been inspired/ written by some higher power.
On that basis I am inclined to say, yes Jesus did, and still does exist, although not in his human form right now. Guess we'll know for definite anyway wiyhin the next 25 tears, he is due for his 2nd appearance by then.

Hi Jen! This is something I have been struggling with for some time now. Especially now after having finished 'Children of the Matrix' by David Icke. Icke uses the proof of Jesus' entirely symbolic life and actions to justify his claim of Him never having lived. This is sort of a small paradox for me - if Jesus never lived, then where did all of his teachings really come from? If he _did_ live, then why does his life symbolically mirror so many others before him? Could it be that it's because _they_ all lived too and that their symbolism existed for a real bona fide reason?

Children of the Matrix by David Icke wrote:

SUNS OF GOD - Tammuz was a name for the Sumerian god Dumazi or Damu (the "only begotten son" or "Son of the Blood") who provided the blueprint for all the later sons of God, including Jesus.  .  .  .  The Mesopotamian kings were said to be of the bloodline of Tammuz, just as Sir Laurence Gardner claims that the Merovingian "true" royal line is the bloodline of Jesus. It was said that the land was given life by the blood of Tammuz and he saw a healer, saviour, and a shepherd who looked after his flock of stars. He died wearing a "crown of thorns" made from myrrh. Tammuz was symbolically sacrificed on the Day of Atonement in the form of a lamb. He was worshipped in Jerusalem where his exact story would later be re-told using the name "Jesus".  . . . And . . . the cave in Bethlehem where Jesus is said to have been born, is the same one where the ancients claimed that Tammuz (Adonis) was born. The bible "translator", Jerome, admitted that Bethlehem had been a sacred grove dedicated to Tammuz, the fertility god or "spirit of the corn". Bethlehem means "House of Bread" or "House of Corn". Horus, the Egyptian Son of God, was born in the "Place of Bread" and Jesus said he was "the Bread of Life" . . . The priesthood took the ancient Sumer Sun religion, esoteric, astrological and astronomical knowledge, and the stories of their reptilian gods, and buried them in symbolic fables. This is their real meaning, except to initiates, while introducing the rigid beliefs of the prison religions.  .  .  . Christianity was created by rehashing the ancient symbolic story of the Sun, together with Mystery school allegory and serpent cult symbolism presented as a literal story in an historical context. The elite priesthood and other initiates knew what the story really meant, and still do, but they tell the people it is literally true . . . Some 1,200 years before "Jesus", the following was said in the East of the "heathen saviour", (Virishna): he was born to a virgin by Immaculate Conception throught the intervention of a Holy Spirit. This fulfilled an ancient prophecy. When he was born, the ruling tyrant wanted to kill him. And his parnets had to flee to safety. All male children under the age of two were slain by the ruler as he sought to kill the child. Angels and shepherds were at his birth and he was given gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. He was worshipped as the saviour of men and led a moral and humble life. He performed miracles, which included healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, casting out devils, and raising the dead. He was put to death on the cross between two thieves. He descended to hell and rose from the dead to ascend back to heaven.

ATTIS, THE SON GOD OF PHRYGIA

He was born of December 25th to a virgin mother. He was called a "saviour", the only begotten son, and died to save humanity. He was cricified on a Friday - "Black Friday" - and his blood was spilled to redeem the Earth. He suffered death "with nails and stakes". He was the Father and Son combined in as earthly body. He was put in a tomb, went down into the underworld, but three days later, on March 25th, his body was found to have disappeared from the tomb and he was resurrected as the "Most High God". His body was symbolised as bread and eaten by those who worshipped him.

KRISHNA (CHRIST), THE SON OF GOD OF INDIA

He was born to a virgin mother on December 25th and his father was a carpenter. A star marked his birthplace, and angels and shepherds attended. The ruler slaughtered thousands of infants in an effort to kill him, but he survived and went on to perform miracles and heal the sick, including lepers, the blind and the deaf. He died at about the age of 30 and some traditions say he was cricified on a tree. He was also protrayed on a cross, rose from the dead, and was considered the saviour. His followers apparently knew him as "Jezeus" or "Jeseus", which means "pure essence". It is said that he will return on a white horse to judge the dead and fight the "Prince of Evil".

DIONYSUS OR BACCHUS, THE SON OF GOD OF GREECE

He was born to a virgin mother on December 25th and put in a manger and swaddling clothes. He was a teacher who travelled, performing miracles. He turned water into wine (like the Sun) and rode in triumph on a ass (so did the Egyptian deity, Set). He was the ram or the lamb, God of the Vine, God of Gods and King of Kings, Only Begotten Son, bearer of sins, Redeemer, Anointed One (Christos), Alpha and Omega. He was hung and crucified on a tree, but rose from the dead on March 25th. During the 1st century BC, the Hebrews in Jerusalem also worshipped this deity. J.M. Roberts wrtes in Antiquity Unveiled that "IES, the Phonecian name for Bacchus, offers the origin to Jesus". He says IES can be broken up into "I" (the one) and "es" (fire and light). Taken as one word, "ies" means the one light. He goes on: "This is none other than the light of St John's gospel; and this name is to be found everywhere on Christian altars, both protestant and catholic, thus clearly showing that the Christian religion is but a modification of Oriental Sun Worship, attributed to Zoroaster. The Christians read the same letters 'IHS' in the Greek test as 'Jes' and the Roman Christian priesthood added the terminus 'us'."

wrote:

the Roman Christian priesthood added the terminus 'us'

My emphasis added.

Children of the Matrix by David Icke wrote:

Outside of the New Testament texts there is no sign or record of Jesus whatsoever. A mention in the works of the "Hebrew" historian Jesephus is an obvious later addition in the priesthood's desperation to cross-reference their meal ticket. More than 40 writers are known to have chronicled the events in Israel/Palestine at the alleged time of "Jesus" and not one of them mentions him.

To me, one of the most interesting things about Jesus was that he taught things that not many living in present day regularly do. Like 'love thy enemy', and 'humbling' yourself to others.

Which is harder - loving your enemy or hating him?

I heard a lyric to a song today that made me think of the saying, "Love is in labour" or something like that. Is that how the saying goes? Because I thought, well gee, SHOULD it be? Shouldn't love come naturally? Dosen't love already come natrually because it is the substance of which we are all made through our divine eternal connection to God?

Now, not trying to say that we should hate our enemy because it's easier. Just that we should make it easier for ourselves to love him. Why is it so difficult for us to do this? Possibly because we let our own egos get in the way of our divine God source connection? Possibly because we were DECIEVED by the serpent into attaining the knowledge of good and EVIL . . . therby sending us away from our divine God source and into this physical place where it is much more difficult for us to realize this connection?

I am as is Void.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

One thing I remember from the C sessions is that the symbol of the cross
was implanted by the Lizard beings, and that Jesus was not crucified.
If you are a time traveler, as the 4D STS are alleged to be, then prophecy
is an easy trick to pull off.  Just dictate what is going to happen, then make
that happen in the timeline that you say it will.
I personally have grokked the Jesus energy (briefly) and I think that that
energy is available to us, i.e., inside us and can be called upon.  But that
state of being is difficult to maintain in this STS world.  One can see why
a person representing that energy/being would not be tolerated by the
Romans.  Or the modern incarnation of Rome, the U.S.

A: Hologram.
Q: (L) And what is his connection to the Creator that enables him to do this soul replication?
A: Volunteered.
Q: (L) Rudolf Steiner called Chirst "The most sublime human principle ever to unfold on earth," is this an accurate statement?
A: One interpretation.
Q: (L) He also said: "The Christ, who in the course of this evolution lived 3 years in the body of Jesus of Nazareth..." Is this a correct statement?
Did the Christ statement enter Jesus at age 30?
A: Formed then.
Q: (L) How did this sublime being, the Christ, dwell in a human body?
A: Natural process caused by supremely pure faith and thought.
Q: (L) Yet previously you said that Jesus had sexual relations with women after he was Christed, is that correct?
A: No. Before.
Q: (L) So, after he was Christed he had no sexual relations?
A: Correct.
Q: (L) Did the Christ spirit descend into the body of Jesus in his 30th year?
A: No.
Q: (L) What happened?
A: Formed within him. And it could do thusly in anyone who reaches such levels of service to others plus faith and supreme levels of pure
thought.
Q: (L) What was the source of the belief that Christ descended into hell during the course of his so-called death?
A: Superstitions created hundreds of years after his work.

In some of these sessions there's more info about Jesus, they can be accessed in the Files section of the montalk's website.

Hi ya Jezreel,

I bolded the words in the first session I've posted as a kind of response to what you've written here. I think it's important to remember that the Bible is not "pure" in its form... and I'm not dissin' the Bible here, I'm just offerring what is well known--through subjective translation the Bible is not what it was initially intended to be.

Should I continue looking for more, or is this more than enough? smile

If you want to look for more that's fine with me, I found your post interesting and enlightening.  I was thinking while reading, "this is what I
want to believe about Jesus!"  smile

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

No doubt there have been many individuals in history, or rather mythology, who bear resemblance to Jesus. But in no way is this proof that Jesus never existed. Beings of that supposed order of divinity are expressions of a common divine energy and lead lives that are archetypally identical. Another reason for similarity is that even if based upon real individuals, secret societies tack on symbolic elements to serve as knowledge capsules hitching a ride on the popularity of this legend, while folklore adds its own exaggerations. Then throw in political spin, and what you eventually get out is something that is way overblown compared to the original. But buried in that should be some semblance of truth, I would think.

Interestingly, from a religious perspective the factual basis for Jesus means everything, while, like Haven said, from a spiritual perspective it is irrelevant.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

Although I posed the question of whether Jesus really existed, I also
believe that whether or not he did,  the energy of Jesus, or the Christ spirit, is very real.

I had quite a few arguments about this in another of my forums where the moderator was aggressively promoting and quoting from Tony Bushby's book The Bible Fraud.  From his point of view, if the existence of Jesus could not be proved, then the whole of Jesus' teachings and of the Bible must be bollocks. He was, to put it mildly, not open to the idea that even if Jesus was a mythical character, his teachings of love and Oneness were still valid.

There have been references to the Second Coming in this thread.  I think the Second Coming of Christ is an internal event--the realization of Christ Consciousness within the individual.

I suppose if I'm going to join this thread I should share my thought about Jesus of Nazareth's purported (?) existence... I think Jesus had as much of a shot at a body as did and do any others. Physicality is an odd bird to me the past couple of years because I've been without having one nuance of my body as it is now going on, and I was still vital. Physicality seems to me to be part and parcel of the definition of illusion in my mind's eye, and is therefore extremely subjective. In the moment, Jesus of Nazareth isn't in body in my environment, so therefore any assignation to his being "real" would be speculation on my part.

On the other hand, I find the Christed Consciousness to be the most important spiritual support system there is to have... especially when it comes to healing work. It's been my experience that nothing transmutes energy with less expenditure of energy than does the Christed energy.

I could go on and on about how complete I feel when in a Christed flow of energy, but  big_smile  it's dinner time. I think it's enough to share that the Christed Consciousness completes me wink .

WhhhOW!  smile smile smile

Now, Jen, this so touched my heart... in a big way.

What a beautiful and fulfilling thought this is... thank you. smile

Hmm. did you know there is a CRC check encoded into the Bible, no I am not refering to the so called Bible code. A numerological code, so that you can tell if it has been tampered with. Just a short quote;

...."The genealogy of the Lord Jesus Christ is in the first chapter of Matthew. The vocabulary to the first half of this genealogy of the first eleven verses has 49 words. 49 happens to be 7x7. It has two separate numeric features. First, it is a multiple of 7; second, the sum of its factors is 14 - twice 7. Of these 49 words 28, or 7x4, begin with a vowel, and 21, or 7x3, with a consonant. That is to say, the words of the vocabulary are divided into words beginning with a vowel and words beginning with a consonant, not at random, but by sevens. So we have four features of sevens. So the 49 words of the vocabulary have 266 letters. That is a multiple of 7, i.e., 38x7, but that is not all. The sum of the figures of 266 is 14, or twice seven, and the sum of the factors 7x2x19 is also a multiple of seven; and we have three additional features of 7.

"I have said that the 49 words in the vocabulary are divided between vowel words and consonant words by seven. The 266 letters of the vocabulary follow exactly the same plan, namely 140 of them, or 7x20, are vowels, and 126, or 18x7 are consonants.

"There is only one chance in a million that these things could have happened accidentally, but if that were all we might say, "Well, a strange thing may happen once in a while, even though the chance is only one in a million;" -but it so happens that of those 49 words, 42 are nouns and 7 are not nouns. Of the 42 nouns, 35 are proper names, the other 7 are common names. Of the 35 proper names, 28 are male ancestors of the Lord Jesus Christ. This presents not only a set of divisions of seven, but it diminishes the chances 343 times. In other words, this scheme alone shows that some mathematical artist, for some reason, sat down and said to himself, "I will construct that small portion of the genealogy in such a way that when I get through, all these remarkable features of 7 appear." I tried to sit down and figure out how long it would have taken Matthew to write that particular piece of genealogy, and I reckoned that it would have taken him, if he did nothing else, and did not sleep or eat or do any business or see and visitors, a good month to do that. You will see that it would have been impossible for him to do it at all, because there are features that make it impossible."

There remains only to be added that by precisely the same kind of evidence the Hebrew Old Testament is proved to be equally inspired. This the very first verse of Genesis has seven words, 28 letters, or 4 sevens: to name only two out of the dozens of numeric features of this one verse of only seven words
