Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Excellent to hear from Matthew the confirmations on the battle and what took place.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Now I return to the positive results of Katrina. First, I shall tell
you frankly, that prior to the advent of this hurricane, momentum in
the energy field of potential had reached the point where preventing
an invasion of Iran was nearly impossible. Now this cannot go
forward as intended, not with the nation's expectation of adequate
assistance to the many thousands who are homeless and in great need.
It is not due to any greater respect for life among the prominent
members of Bush's administration, but straightforward logistics and
funding that must shelve for the time being their invasion plans.

Normally I would have to say that I think the Matthew channeling is very fruit cakey, but this paragraph gave me pause.  I didn't even think about the countries on Bush's invasion list which will now have to be postponed...or cancelled indefinitely.   Because I can tell you, I don't think Iran is going to lay down and go belly up like Iraq did.  Iran is full of badasses, and they would NOT stand by and let their country get taken out by the U.S.   No way Jose.  So if Iran was really the next on the list, and it's now postponed indefinitely, then one can only imagine what other ramifications have also been avoided by a war with a country that would have put up a nasty fight.  They wouldn't go quietly, that's for sure.   I'm thinking it would get to the nuclear point.

So the question is, how many other, far more horrific timelines (for ALL involved, both sides)  have now been side stepped as a result of this?

Lyra, this quote about Iran caught my attention too.  It reinforces for me the idea that those in power were not prepared for the hurricane.  I felt a tremendous energy leading us to more war.  Now (even with the negative energy coming from the death and destruction of the hurricane), I do sense that more war, at least for the moment, has been averted.  There will now be great scrutiny of the administration.

However, I do not feel that things are in the clear -- like I posted in the other thread in the "spirituality" section, these people in power are smart, and they might capitalize on this in other ways.   Seems like this is a period where the future is a little bit up in the air.

Maybe they are already doing this by creating more chaos with people shooting at rescue planes and what not?

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

I've not put much stock in Matthew information before. It has had some important knowings revealed, but he's been off in his information. I've never pinged as much as I did in this one. He had a more mature tone and seemed to be accessing a little broader bandwidth compared to the last time I read him, and this information put some pieces together for me.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

And now for something really interesting. This article from October of 2004 describes a hurricane hitting New Orleans as a disaster feared by FEMA.

http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0410/feature5/

snippet:

National Geographic wrote:

Thousands drowned in the murky brew that was soon contaminated by sewage and industrial waste. Thousands more who survived the flood later perished from dehydration and disease as they waited to be rescued. It took two months to pump the city dry, and by then the Big Easy was buried under a blanket of putrid sediment, a million people were homeless, and 50,000 were dead. It was the worst natural disaster in the history of the United States.

When did this calamity happen? It hasn't–yet. But the doomsday scenario is not far-fetched. The Federal Emergency Management Agency lists a hurricane strike on New Orleans as one of the most dire threats to the nation [...]

That is eeriely prophetic.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

I think one of the big Problem-Reaction-Solutions in this whole debacle will be gun control.  Probably sounds like I'm stating the obvious, but that's what went through my mind while I was just over at CNN.com right now reading the latest reports.

The reason that the cops can't get a grip on the situation down there is because they're up against people who also have guns, like themselves.   Not only are they outnumbered, but the people they're outnumbered by are all armed.    The term "Urban Warfare" is what's being used now in all the internet news reports.   So the consensus will be, "If there were no guns available to the citizens, and no stores that sold them, then this wouldn't have happened."   And sure, there will always be an underground market for guns, they'll probably never be able to ever fully eliminate the population from obtaining them,  but there wouldn't be guns at Wal*Mart for looters to raid, etc.

I'm not advocating gun control, I'm not Michael Moore, and this isn't Bowling For Columbine, this is just a neutral observation and prediction based on the facts.  I can see one major possible after effect of this when it's all said and done.

On a sidenote, wanted to add this amazing photo (taken with a cell phone!) that I found over at wunderground.com of one of the outer bands of Katrina as it approached Florida....(hope this works!)

And this one, entitled "Hurricane Parties."  This was Bourbon Street, 2 days before Katrina.  It left me with such a strange feeling, like wow, you people don't understand what's coming your way...get out!! They're all just sitting around so casually, relaxed, partying.  eegads.

Here are some interesting tidbits!! I don't know if anyone has seen this specific info, but I am sure this is no surprise. I am still a bit sick to me stomach, though.

At last the help and support has arrived at New Orleans.  Can't imagine how the people must be feeling at seeing this.

(And look - some fantastic photo oppertunities for Bush...  sad  )

Lyra - that photo is of Katrina?  I am no expert for sure - but that looks more like a Tordando to me than a Hurrincane...

It's damn scary looking, whatever it is!

It was supposed to be one of the "outer bands" of the hurricane, according to the photo caption but I think if I saw something like that approaching in the distance I would have a heart attack and fall over right there on the spot!

I read a post somewhere here at NR about the tornado theory on Katrina, but I don't know anything about weather, so I can't comment.

I know that a guy I used to work with in Florida who was a weather buff said that Andrew wasn't a hurricane, but rather an F5 tornado.  He was adament about it.  He was someone who studied the subject and wanted to become a meteorologist.   Until him, I'd never heard of such a theory.  We've all been told it was a hurricane, it came over water like a hurricane....right?  Isn't that what hurricanes do?  They're big spirals over water?    So I listened to him and took it with a grain of salt, on the back burner.   I don't know weather, so I just don't know.

EDIT:  Here's a link defining what a hurricane is.  http://ww2010.atmos.uiuc.edu/(Gh)/guide … /home.rxml

I don't know how people can label a hurricane a tornado, when tornados are smaller and are on land, while hurricanes are huge spirals of wind born in tropical waters.   Katrina formed in tropical waters.  That's a hurricane as far as I can tell.  What would be the point of a conspiracy that tries to re-label a hurricane a tornado....?   What is the insinuation I'm not getting?   I'm lost!

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Thanks for the info Lyra.  As to your last question, I am not sure if that was aimed at me - or if it was just a general question.  If it was aimed at me - then, no I don't think it was a Tornado, I was just amazed at how terrifying that thing looked!!

If it was just a general question - then again I don't really have an answer, other than to say some people seem to see conspiracies everywhere.  I guess that is fair enough if that's what they want to believe, after all who am I to judge them?

Personally I just keep an open mind about things and rely a lot on discernment and intuition, but that's a topic that has been talked about here at NR before.  I was meaning to say something about this on the other Katrina thread in response to Ayahuasca's post, but it's an entirely different subject.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Well, I've posted channelings from Tobias and Matthew on this subj,  and Karen Bishop's perspective.  Now heeeeeeeere's Kryon:

A CHANGING EARTH

Dear Ones,

I speak to those of you in America, in the culture of my partner (Lee).  In
your own back yard you now have those in need, in peril, in sorrow, and those
who are deciding which of two basic energies to trust. Watch the split as we
told you about many years ago... indicating a polarization within Human nature
now, that will show up immediately when tested in this way.

Despite what you see on your news, there are many who are hanging on and
trusting in the high spirit of their countrymen... you. Their prayers are
indeed heard and there are millions right now who you are not hearing about on
your news, who are turning their attention on them. Your compassion is pouring
to them, along with your light. Your positive actions will last far longer
than the news reports of the negative, and this compassion that is generated
for them is actually going into, and staying within, Gaia. Watch, for this
eventually will tell a story about how you respond to your own, and when the
tally is in, it will represent the greatest outpouring of support Americans
have ever shown. This is the good news of what is hiding here, but which is
not immediately known.

Years ago we told you of these things. We told you of a changing earth, and
about the weather intensifying. Now it is here. Human consciousness is
shifting and Gaia is responding. With this shift carries a new paradigm of
weather for your planet. It's a new cycle, and it's going to be with you for
at least another 5 years, perhaps more.

Humans have always felt that they were able to meet the challenge of what
natures provides for them. But now, nature is providing a different scenario
than you have ever seen. Will you heed our information wisely and begin to
adjust your lives, or will you cling to the old and try to fight, or gamble
with this new paradigm of weather?

Hints: Produce electricity from the waves! Produce fresh water from the ocean!
Build differently and plan for this kind of weather so that it is not a
constant surprise. Technology is there for this, but is being held back for
monetary and political reasons. Perhaps it's time to claim the wisdom of the
moment?

Turn your lights on those who need you now, for that is the most important
issue. Then later, when enough time has passed, become strong in your resolve
to understand that everything you are seeing now is a precursor to a new kind
of partnership with the forces of the planet. The shift is here that we told
you was coming. Now it's time for you to share your light with those who had
no idea about any of it. Perhaps this is what me meant by being the Lighthouse
in the storm? Indeed.

You are ALL dearly loved.

It was more or less a general question, not targetting you necessarily.  I was just wondering since you mentioned it looking like a tornado, and I've read elsewhere that people are claiming it was really a tornado, and I'm just confused.    I don't know weather, but I've never learned that tornados form in tropical waters, hit land, then lose strength, then hit warm water again then regain their speed / size.  Which is what Katrina did, and which doesn't sound much like a tornado to me.  But what do I know! big_smile

But it's okay, don't worry, I was just sort "wondering outloud."  smile
