Topic: A deceptive Second Coming?

In the book "The Allies of Humanity: An Urgent Message about the Extraterrestrial Presence in the World Today", Marshall Vian Summers writes that a person (entity) will come and claim to be Jesus.

"He is one who is born and bred for this purpose by the (alien) collectives that are in the world today.  He will appear human and will have significant abilities compared to what you can accomplish at this moment.  He will seem completely altruistic.  He will be able to perform acts that will engender either fear or great reverence.  He will be able to project images of angels, demons, or whatever his superiors wish to expose you to.  He will seem to have spiritual powers.  And he will engender allegiance to follow him.  Eventually, for those who cannot follow him, he will encourage their alienation or destruction" (pg. 55-56).

This is a similar description to the Anti-Christ who is described in the Book of Revelation in the Bible.  That doesn't mean that it is necessisarily true, just something to watch out for.

I anticipate that the world will go through a major economic crash within the next few years, possibly in Fall 2005, and at some point after that we may hear reports about this so-called Anti-Christ character.

Now that would be something!

Arnie, Rise of the Political Machines, heh.  Listening to a smooth talker is apparently what got us into this friggin mess in the first place, right?  Those of us who see that oirginal lie and how it led to the ugly reality we experience now won't be fooled (I hope).  It's tempting to reach for a "savior" to get us out of our mess, but the truth is in us, not "out there" somewhere, and the truth is what will "save" us.    When we know the truth, we see the lies.

Re: A deceptive Second Coming?

Thanks for the input!

Perhaps the original smooth talker you are referring to is the Prince of Darkness in the form of a snake in the Garden of Eden?

Yes, indeed, the truth is in us and when we know the truth, we can see lies.

Re: A deceptive Second Coming?

The story of our fall from heaven has taken many forms, but the essence is the same.  We believed a lie, and we've lived in hell ever since.

Perhaps soon we'll be able to understand what happened to us back then.  We never had words to describe how it happened, so we told stories about it.

I prefer to think we voluntarily descended into hell/illusion to purify ourselves smile This was what the gnostics believed I think, even though not all of them thought it was a wise decision (and there are days when I agree).

Re: A deceptive Second Coming?

Well, and if we consider that our souls "decided" on lessons to be learned here, then perhaps it was intended to be that way.  That is one of the "angles" I'm looking at, too.  But wouldn't we have known this total 3D set up would "hide" our connection to the Source?  What about all the stories of the "fall"?  I don't think I can discount those.

Re: A deceptive Second Coming?

No matter how much is destined or foreseen, the freewill factor makes the future somewhat open. So there is always risk. Those with hyperdimensional awareness (such as ourselves during the contemplation stage between incarnations) see probable futures, some more certain than others, and when we come here for whatever purpose, we take our chances knowing the risks and knowing some of the things that are guaranteed to happen as planned. Many times the risks are just the delaying of what spiritual treasure we need, so that's why entering 3D despite can be attractive despite the potential for going astray.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: A deceptive Second Coming?

Digby the Water Molecule and the story of his realisation:

There was once a water molecule called Digby, he was a friendly and happy go lucky kind of water molecule.

Digby could never understand why his watery life was so tough and so much of a struggle, being battered from left to right, being bounced off and into, getting sucked into whirlpools and eddies and being spun around - it can be a tough life being a water molecule.

Digby had a long, and sometimes painful existance as a water molecule, right up until the day he breathed his last watery breath, and then evaporated.

After his evaporation, Digby spent some time quitely contemplating his existence from his position high up in his cloud, and still it did not make much sense to him.

From his position in the clouds, Digby was able to look down and see the beauty of the earth, the patchwork quilt design of the fields, the sea over there in the far distance, and a long meandering river.......a river!!!

Could it be that I, Digby, as a water molecule, surrounded by millions of other similar water molecules, was never able to see further than the swirling mass of molecules around me? could it actually be that I was part of an intelligent design?, could it be that I was part of a river?, and other rivers fed into that river?, and the whole ecosystem around me was inherently linked to this river I was a part of?.....and wait....this river also leads to the sea!!!

From his position on the cloud, Digby was not prepared to wait a moment longer.....with a shout of joy, he changed his vibration from water vapour to a rain drop, fell to earth and thus started his next incarnation.....rumour has it that Digby made it out to the sea and now enjoys warmer tropical climates, where the rate of precipitation is more frequent.

:-D

Warm regards

That was a wonderful analogy, JT!
