Re: What's on your computer desk?

thook, I'm running out the door to go to work, but use the NR search engine, put in "Shadow Self Integration" using my name... you'll find a long post there about it.

Actually, I've been trying to write an article for the NR... ummm front page? home page?, whichever it is, but between hyperdimensionals, looking for a job, and just starting a job I've had to put it on the back burner.

You know, actually, maybe some questions or insights from you about the subject matter will get me on the move with it.

Working again is being a big adjustment for me roll .... bleck!, it'll be nice to have my own money though wink .

Re: What's on your computer desk?

thook,

Did you ever figure out how to do a post like you were previously trying here? I can tell you the commands you missed if you've not figured it out yet....

Re: What's on your computer desk?

No, I never figured it out. A multitude of 3D events occuring. I haven't even much time to post right now, much less figure it out. Whatever you can share I will appreciate. Nothing like being able to clear confusions on any level, if you know what I mean. I did read and reread your post on "Integrating Shadow Self". Hounds are barking! I sometimes wonder in my ability and/or willingness to integrate the nagging parts of myself. Just when I feel I have enough courage I shy away from being at bat. Oh boy! Old story! Where to start other than where I am at, righto? I admire the courage I witness from the folks I witness on this forum. It is inspiring. I try to instegate (sp?) integration, but I feel I must be going about it incorrectly because I don't seem to get anywhere with it. It seems as somethings must have to happen of their own accord? Inner discipline seems to be a bit of weak department for me most of the time. As I write this I feel encouragement and clues welling in my heart chakra, though. I give up too easily, I know.

Re: What's on your computer desk?

:/h, sspphhhffffff... I tried to explain it earlier in preparation by using an example, but that turned into a nightmare roll .

Anyway... each time you quote someone else quoting you then an end quote tag is needed before you comment... on that person making a comment to you. You gotta tag out the same way you tagged in. I hope I got that right.

I think that was what the problemo was mi hermano de la esperanza! big_smile

Would you be okay with me taking this to that thread and commenting on it there within the next day or two? I don't have to if your shy or something. You see, I don't think you're alone with the feelings you've shared here. I've found in the recent past, because it has seemed to be an active time for shadow self integrating, that it's not easy for others to open up about their shadow self, and understandably so... it's so not "pretty" while one is in it. I was very, very trepiditious while posting the thread.

Maybe we'd be helping some others if you/we opened up there wink .

No pressure, no pressure, no pressure, otay? No pressure. I'm just asking.

Awwwww! How lovely.... you know dude, when it's time, it's time. smile The heart is where they're transmuted through, you know... they need all the lovin' you've got to integrate them. Maybe your heart is letting you know it's ready.

Heh... take care with the messages you're sending yourself, eh? Who do you think might be sending that message.... hmmmm? smile

And smile , "instegate" is otherwise spelled "instigate"... big_smile .

You know what, thook? Never mind my request... I probably shouldn't of asked this of you. I'm sorry. Only comment on that page if it comes from your own issuance. I'm always here if you ever wanna rap about it though, okay?

Re: What's on your computer desk?

I appreciate your consideration, however I understand my feelings are universal. So, I feel comfortable enough sharing them in this community. Others judgements are their own, if anyone should happen to have them. I'm into sharing my experiences and such. That is why I am on this forum in the first place. Universal minds! How else will we learn unless we can share our experiences among our brethren/sistren? The All already already knows anyway. I'm looking for other viewpoints to expand on my own limitations, which are universal as well. So, with that said I will meet you on the other thread. And excitedly at that!

Re: What's on your computer desk?

On my desk (among other things):

Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW 24" widescreen LCD Monitor  I've been using this for a couple of months now and it's awesome.  A must-have for anyone who spends more than a few hours a day in front of their PC.

Just ordered:  Northgate Evolution keyboard, with "clicky" tactile keys and ergonomic layout.  It has pretty good reviews and I'm looking forward to working with it.  Finding a quality keyboard today is quite difficult.  A bit pricey at ~$70.00 US but well-made keys are worth the price.

Re: What's on your computer desk?

Nice "ride" morningsun wink !

I don't have anything new on my desk as of late... but ya know?, having something alive on my desk, Bluefish in particular, is a lovely thing.

When I am in a contemplative mode I'll just sit here and think while watching him... he's very soothing.

Re: What's on your computer desk?

I have nothing new on my desk either. But, I have something alive as well, besides the old coffee mug! No fish in the mug, but it is blue. And green. And a little black. And I think something IS swimming in it. No, really, I kid. No mug. Jus' pull'n yo chain! I do have two conures (like small parrots) next to my desk, though. One sun and one green cheek. Now, their bird seed is ALL over my desk. They have so much fun when they eat. This will change soon enough, their being next to my desk and all. Imagine seed in the crevices between the  keys on your keyboard. I suppose you could forage WHILE you type. Hey!, the ultimate vegetarian keyboard! A little water every other day (which can be supplied by two conures bathing nearby) and you could have your own mini-lawn, too! Wow! Imagine how nice that would feel on your bare hands! No longer would feet get to have all the fun. A little screensaver of any park of your choice and you have your own indoor park. The perfect place to play with your SSC dolls! Or GI Joe! Play while you post. With today's technology this could get really interactive over the web. Wait! Where was I? Oh yeah! Nice keys morningsun. I always wanted a board like that. Bluefish sound really cool, too.  I will have to do a search on bluefish to see what they look like. I have a big aquarium with a silver dollar fish and two big pleco's to my right, and Thook, the telepathic African Gray parrot. No one has taught this bird one on one the English language, yet she speaks in full sentences. Once I was having this conversation in a dream. And as I was awakening out of the dream I was telling the person,"Well, that must why I created that." Then I hear this voice, clearly it was Thook's, say,"Is that so?" Then she laughs,"Ha ha ha!". smile

Re: What's on your computer desk?

thook, Bluefish is his name... you know like "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish." big_smile

Bluefish is a male Betta fish... aka: Chinese Fighting Fish. He's the same blue and black colors, mostly blue though, that montalk has on his homepage. Very, very handsome is my fish.

Oh, of course you can! You know me, always got my hand in the cookie jar wink . And well, this bird gets her crumbs down in the crevices of the keyboard too. I try not to but... gosh, I'm typing the same time I'm nibbling on cookies. I just turn the keyboard upside down and blow on it, big_smile and then vacuum.

Ice Cream's a whole different story though wink .
