Topic: Vampires

I just saw Queen of the Damned for the first time yesterday.  I kept hoping that there was a way for the vampires to resurrect themselves, some solution besides their own destruction.....because many innocent humans end up becoming vampires because they are so badly attacked.  But Anne Rice doesn't seem to think that there is any hope for them, nor is there much hope for any mortals who get too close.  Nor does the film seem to even suggest that there should be any desire to save them, on anyone's part, although the vampire Lestat does lament the fact that he can never be human again and enjoy the simple pleasures of human existence.

So if you have vampires in your soul group with which you have cultural/familial ties, what can you do?  Try to stay vigilant and aware as much as possible.  But it's challenging if, say, it is your own mother or your own child who is a vampire.

I have always had vampires in my life.  My mother is one.  Is it because of programmed behavior patterns I learned from my relationship with her that I developed this hook that attracts others like her?  Or is there a natural attraction between dark and light?  Why are people who are not vampires fascinated with them?

I think my obsession with the possibility that a vampire could resurrect their own ability to generate their own energy like a healthy human has to do with a misguided belief that I can somehow save my mother.

But then I wonder about that quote from the Dalai Lama:

Good will win over evil, but maybe not in this lifetime.

Doesn't the darkside eventually come to the light?  Isn't the whole soul-evolution thing about all souls growing up that way?  Even tho there will always be bottom-feeders, can't some of those bottom-feeders progress up the soul ladder so as to not come back as the same vulture they once were?

HI tillibulu,  lots of questions in your post, I'll just try to answer the above.

Ra says that STS souls,  at some point in their evolution (he says it's at the transition to 6D) voluntarily make the changeover to STO.  I guess it could happen before that, also, but the 6D transition is crucial because there's no STS at that level.

But beyond that, Ra emphasizes that the whole polarity game is just that, a game.  From the Law of One Study Guide at ascension200.com:

I.   THERE IS NO REAL (OR ETERNAL) POLARITY

RA:  In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex with which you amuse yourself. This belief in polarity is chosen instead of understanding the complete unity of thought that binds all things together.

You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every situation.

You are unity. You are infinity.

You are love/light, light/love.

You are.

This is the Law of One. (B1, 67)

The Law of One, although beyond all words, may be approximated by saying that all things are one, there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only one identity. All is one; and that one is love/light, light/love, the Infinite Creator. (B1, 85)

And of course,  that includes vampires...

Are we talking about vampires in the literal sense of the word here, or figuritive?   Vampires, as in, pale skinned, pointy toothed, garlic-phobic blood sucking creatures of the night who sleep in coffins during the day and never grow old and never die, or Organic Portal type people that drain your energy, time and resources?

Again, I can't quite get whether you mean vampires literally or figuritively.  At first I was going with figuritive, but then the last line asked about non-vampires being fascinated with vampires.   Are you asking why regular people are fascinated by vampire lore?  Because most people I know don't care about vampire lore.  Anyway, I'm confused.......

I don't know.............it may not be as easy as it sounds.  Then again, I'm not entirely sure if we're talking about real vampires here, or figuritive vampires..........

In my own reply, I assumed Tillibullu was talking about energy vampires.
The psychologist Daniel Lapin has done some interesting work wherein he asserts that the whole Dracula myth arises from energy vampirism.  And hey, isn't that what the 4D astral entities do--suck our energy?

My theory about Dracula is that it's a mix of both the real life Vlad the Impaler....long lost ancestor to Bush, believe it or not, but no surprise I guess....and 4D entities.   The part about stakes in the heart comes from Vlad who used to impale his victims, while alive, on stakes, so they would have a long torturous death.  The part about drinking blood is both literal and figuritive -  the literal portion is Vlad drinking his victims' blood; the figuritive refers to negative entities feeding on our energy.  And the part about garlic has to do with garlic and its sulphur components being a natural repellent to negative entities.  So it's a mix of both, I think.

Re: Vampires

I wonder if "as above, so below" concept of the macrocosm helping to understand the microcosm applies here.  What if vampires are like black holes, self-absorbed beings that are a gravity well for those around them?  They absorb everything; even light cannot escape.  They pull those around them towards themselves.

Perhaps vampires are those on a deep journey of inner-searching, naively turning towards the darkness in such an obsessed manner that they drain those around them to fuel this search, be it with energy or information.  We can't say that they are evil so much as we can say that such a task requires such a path in order to complete it.

Anyway, just some views.

Yes, I'm aware of the Vlad history. Interestingly, he suffered a lot of guilt for his actions, which stemmed from his and his brothers'  own abusive childhood experiences.  How did you conclude that Vlad is GWB's ancestor?

Thanks for the reminder about garlic, think I need to up my intake.
It helps that I love it. smile  There are some physiological reasons for
why it is protective:  it purifies the blood, and emits a type of UV
radiation called the "Gurwitch rays."  And as we all know, vampires shrink from the Light...

How did *I* conclude?  I didn't, other people who research genealogy did.  wink  It was all over the 'net back during the last election.  Not only that Bush is related to both Al Gore and John Kerry, but that he can trace his lineage to Winston Churchill, the Royal family, Charlemagne, (sp) and.....Vlad the Impaler.   Bloodlines bloodlines bloodlines.

Indeed, it does.   It's weird, but about a week or so ago I felt "off", like there was this negative blanket or veil trying to cloud me, giving me negative thoughts and negative mindset.   I suddenly had the urge to make a dish that involved using fresh crushed raw garlic, which I did.  Basically I ate three cloves of raw garlic (cloves,  not the entire bulbs!  some people reading this may get confused...I'm not that crazy! haha)

And afterwards I felt like the negative blanket lifted.  It was gone.  The possible connection didn't escape me, eating all that raw garlic while being under possible attack of some sorts, then it going away.   So I'm a believer garlic being a form of astral roach spray, or "Astral Raid" if you will.  big_smile hehe

Yeah, I hate pesticide in general, but I like that idea!

Oh, re eating only 3 cloves--there's a garlic chicken recipe using 40 cloves of garlic.  I read about someone attending a dinner where they were preparing that dish, and he asked, "Isn't that too much garlic?"  Their reply:  "There's no such thing as too much garlic!"  big_smile

Re: Vampires

Yeah, Lyra, I'm speaking about figurative vampires, synonomous with STS entities, and I am speaking of the ones who are currently incarnated as humans.  (Many of whom actually do drink blood, although this is a rarer form of human psychic vampire.)

And Jen, I appreciate this post about the Ra quotes, which intuitively I recognize as the ultimate Truth.  But this is dangerous knowledge because I think it gives me a false sense of security when it comes to dealing with STS entities, cause I feel that we are all this big connected thing---consciousness---here playing the video game of life wearing these human-body-costumes.

Further, I really do have a fantasy that I can convert them.  I am sure it's some warped ego thing, or, perhaps, like I said, some childish wish to "repair' my mother that drives it.

I just finished reading "The Ethical Psychic Vampire" by Raven Kuldera who claims that human vampires (STS entities) aren't repelled by the garlic!  But I know from Aboriginal australian teachers that the spirit world retains the sense of smell somehow, which accounts for part of the reason that people would paint themselves up when going on journeys involving traversing areas where spirits were unfamiliar or untrustworthy.....so perhaps garlic is effective to stave off 4d entities.

Yeah, I really have this fucked-up thing going on with my STS ex-boyfriend, who feels like a soul mate, and with whom I have a rescue mission scenario in my mind.  I guess one day he'll make the switch for the 6D shift, but by that time I will probably be many incarnations past my current silly obsession, at which point I will be laughing at this aspect of my self wasting time on this matter.....or "entertaining" myself.

Interesting.......I've gone through this myself.  I don't usually talk about the mom situation here at Noble Realms, because it's negative, but yes, I've gone through it myself, with my mom.   Long before I knew there was such a thing as energy feeders or OP's, me and my brother nicknamed her "MomBot", as in Mom Robot.  You would literally think she has a battery pack in her back, that's how bad it is.  And yes she's a feeder, and how, wow, and yes, there are things working through her to do so.  It's a scary bizarre situation.   Her eyes are big and blank and empty, this perpetual deer-caught-in-the-headlights look.  You can practically hear the wheels turning in her brain when she stares at you like that, thinking.  She has every checklist trait of an OP.   Picks fights out of nowhere to feed feed feed, very abusive to extract as much energy as possible while doing it, both physically and verbally.  And the kicker is, she does it on a clockwork schedule.  Probably coincides with the moon, now that I'm older and aware of such things.  Wasn't aware of it as a kid.  Her personality can literally change from one second to the next.   I'd watch as it seemed a black cloud would decend over her, her face would grow dark, and her face would change, her entire personality switching in seconds.    She's very controlling - it's another form of energy feeding.  She gets off on being the one in control, and withholding the basics such as food and other necessary items.  She pulled the food thing more with my little brother than me, because he was only 11, 12 years old and had no money to get his own food, unlike me.   She also creates very crazy drama to get as much attention and energy as possible.   I've heard stories through the family grapevine about her drama that just blew my mind.  I mean, just *crazy* loopy situations that she invented and imagined in her own head, all in the name of attention.   She wears two faces as well.   Tries to put on a perfect face to the public but is very abusive and nutty behind closed doors.   She's just crazy, I don't know how else to explain it.  The world she lives in is scary.  Not a place I would ever want to be.  And not a place I can be around.  For that reason, she's been out of my life since I was 18.

Living with a parent who's like that can do any number of things to a kid.  Luckily for me I had a dad that was halfway normal, so, that seriously is THE ONLY reason I turned out as okay as I did.  Have him to thank for it.  Without him as the stabilizing parent in my formative years, or if I'd had two parents like her, then I would have been screwed.   But for me, by the time I was 16 I was a mess.    Again, even before I knew about OP's and energy feeders I was already reacting accordingly.   When you're around my mom it's like there are these invisible tentacles coming out, whipping all around you, trying to get in.   Poking, prodding, wrapping all around, trying to find any open doorway in.   For that reason, by the time I was 16 I had become completely blank and numb and had my walls permanently up.   You become the master at being blank, emotionless, showing nothing, revealing nothing, and refusing to respond to the provocations, attacks, insults, name calling, bullying and other desparate fight picking tactics in the name of energy feeding.  You learn to not give the food that's so desparately needed.   I wasn't even consciously aware of the dynamic that was playing itself out either --  but on a subconscious level I obviously did, because of the way in which I was responding. (or NOT responding, is more like it.)    She could be standing 2 inches from my face, literally screaming insults and threats at me, and I'd just stand there, completely blank.  She HATED that.  It would make her lose control.  Well, not that she wasn't already losing control, but, she'd lose it even more so.  wink   They get desparate when they need to feed.  It can get very ugly.    But it was like having tentacles whipping all around, trying to desparately latch on and make a connection, and you just put up your shield and go blank.

I accidentally ran into my mom back in 1998 in a shopping plaza.   What a 2 hour adventure THAT was.  I decided to stick around to see what she had to say.  Mostly, I wanted to see if the family rumor mill was true.............had she really gotten as crazy as I kept hearing?

I didn't do much of any talking during that meeting, it was mostly all her.  Without any conscious control on my part I immediately slipped back into having all the walls snapped up, on lockdown, and back into my defensive blank and emotionless mode.   That's the only way I can be around her, all those damn "tentacles" you know.   And in the course of that 2 hour meeting, she said to me, with those big blank empty eyes, everything that I wished she would have said to me years before.   Down to the word.   As if something knew what I wanted to hear and was literally feeding her what to say.  It was SCARY.   The eyes alone were spooky....so empty.  Nothing going on behind them.    For those reasons, I rejected it.  It was too perfect.  Too strange.   Nobody would normally say everything you wanted to hear, down to the littlest detail, word for word.   It was freaky.  Now that I know about OPs and hive minds and "stuff working through them" that incident makes much more sense.   I didn't know about it then, but instinctually I knew something was very wrong, and to just get away and don't look back.  Which is what I did.

tillibullu wrote:

I don't know what your personal situation is, how bad it is, but I tend to think that if one can be labeled a feeder, than there is no helping them.  Not in this lifetime.   It would be like trying to re-train you to get by without having to eat physical food.   You eat physical food.  That's how you're made, it's how you survive.   There are others who not only eat physical food, but need the emotional energy food as well.  In fact, it could be argued that they may need the emotional energy MORE than the physical food!   They certainly get VERY desparate when they're not getting it, more rabid then if they've gone without physical food!

My mom, last I heard, is a hospice nurse btw.   When I heard that my eyes practically popped out of my head.   The only thing I could think of was her feeding on the helpless who are dying.

Na, you won't be laughing at yourself.  I've glimpsed how the higher self / higher incarnations of ourselves are, how they see us, and believe me, they have nothing but the utmost empathy and sympathy for anybody who's here in 3rd, going through this muck.   Even you at your worst, being your worst, doing the worst thing that you've done, they (we) still don't look down on us.  There's no laughing or mocking, or judgmental criticisms, believing that something we did was wasting time or entertaining ourselves, trust me.  If anything, you'll feel a sense of empathetic sadness.   You'll have total understanding of why you did what you did, why you were who you were.  It's all lessons, remember.   smile

Interesting possibility....

Then again, it also seems the most mal-aligned people, who have no interest in gaining enlightenment, fall into the vampire, energy-sucker category.  Perhaps they need an alternate fuel source since they ain't getting it from "life", so to speak, that energy that is essential to the soul.  Maybe feeding off good people, light people, is the only way to get it?  Like vampires of lore need the blood.

I guess the first category I presented would be good people going on a journey and needing help from back home.  Not vampires per se, but good people that could be misunderstood.  As for the second explanation, spoiled, evil beings, but still victims, I suppose.

Re: Vampires

I can't remember where i read it but forming a circle with your thumb and forefinger then interlocking with the other hands thumb  forefinger forming  2 links in a chain  not touching each other is supposed to prevent energy vampiring.

When i used to work as a practitioner  on the advise of more experieced colleagues i would program crystals and take flower remedies and visualisation methods to prevent energy draining from being around sick people, seemed to work really well.

Lyra thanks for sharing that story and well done for learning how to protect yourself and sharing it.
