Re: Zodiac Signs:

Also I found this funny:

It says: "Saturn trine Mars: A formidable opponent"

Then I look at what sign I am for Saturn and Mars and that's "Scorpio". Does it mean that scorpio's are my opponents in life or something?

Re: Zodiac Signs:

Not me, BB. I'm on a quest for better karma, or a better car, whichever comes first. I'm not only done with making enemies, I'm  past accepting them either!

Re: Zodiac Signs:

Well I'm partly kidding since I believe particular zodiac signs only directly describe the soverign individual in 3D reality, whereas in multidimensional truth, all zodiacs are integrated within the higher-self.

Plus, I think it was describing the scorpio characteristics that I have. I may be mistaken, obviously, but hopefully those who are more knowledgeable in this avenue will comment.

Grazie aaron, I'll call off the hitman I sent after you...

I do not think any sign is "better" than others, they all have their own qualities and associated downsides (loving our sign is good though, no need to feel bad about it since we chose it.) Personnaly I'm very interested in how these different qualities can work within a group. It seems all the elements must work well together to have good group dymanics. It all ties down to respecting and honoring differences to enjoy the qualities that each person has to offer.

BB, the above it not possible.  If both your Saturn and Mars are in Scorpio the "aspect" would be conjunct (meaning within 10 degrees of each other...sometimes stretched to mean in the same sign).

Trine means the planets are 5 signs from each other.  For example, Scorpio is trine Pisces and trine Cancer.  (trine aspects are beneficial).

As far as not having the minutes with your time of birth, it isn't *that* crucial except for extremely detailed horoscope readings - which are beyond my ken.

Best,
Christine
PS:  I have had an affinity for astrology and things occult since my late teens.  I too think as Lyra mentioned this is definately a Scorpio trait.  I find it really interesting how many of us who have posted have one or more of their *personal* planets in Scorpio, (personal planets = sun, moon, rising sign, venus and mars) (the other planets are considered generational planets - therefore generations share the characteristics).  It would be interesting to take a survey of all the members of the board to see what % have Scorpio personal planets.  Scorpio also deals with death, transformation, mystery and make good detectives smile

Edited for clarity:  I re-read your post BB and perhaps you aren't saying that your Saturn and Mars are trine.  Perhaps what you were saying is that a trine aspect between Saturn and Mars makes for a formidable opponent.  Perhaps that is what you meant.  When you try to read what it means to have a planet in a particular sign - for starters, just
learn what the planet symbolizes and what the key elements of the sign are.

Mars in Scorpio would make you someone who is a strong fighter (no surprise there <grin>) with lots of energy.  For example.

Re: Zodiac Signs:

Hi Christine.........

You reminded me that I happen to have......Mars and Venus in Scorpio!!!   Now that's a combination, eh??   Sun, AND Mars, AND Venus in Scorpio!   Yikes!  hehe  big_smile

Are you sure? I read on several places that there is only 3 generational planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Therefore Jupiter and Saturne should be personal. I guess it depends on what you consider a generation...

I'm not sure..............I have a printout at home from some free astrology website which configurated where everything is in my birthchart.  But I can look that up later after I get home, or if I can hunt down the link I'll reconfigure it here at work.

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean what I'm saying is impossible, that Saturn and Mars are 'Scorpio'? I can check again, but I'm certain this is the case.

Thanks Ermolai for the info.

Re: Zodiac Signs:

Sorry for any confusion.

Certainly you can have Saturn in Scorpio and Mars in Scorpio.

What I was commenting on was your first line which was "Saturn trine Mars...
followed by your next line which was you looked your Saturn and Mars up and they were both Scorpio.

Leading me to initially believe that you were saying your Saturn and your Mars were trine AND they were both Scorpio.

Which is not possible...that they are TRINE AND both Scorpio.

In any case, perhaps you could take a look and see how your first post about Mars and Saturn could have been made more clear.

I think you were being funny as you ended with a smiley face after the comment about Scorpios being your opponents.

Could you clarify?

Re: Zodiac Signs:

Ya, I think I had my lions crossed when saying that.

Instead of realizing it means "a formidable opponent" as in characterizing me, I thought it meant my formidable opponents were scorpios. smile

I didn't know what mars and saturn represented, so I went down to the bottom where it identified the planets, and mars and saturn were both scorpio...

Sorry for confusing you. I put the smiley face because it would make sense with the way lyra responds to me consistently. As I'm I'm often trying to hurt her puppy or something. hehe.

I'm going to read the websites ermolai has given. Christine, if you're kind of a expert in this field, could I give you my specifics and you give me any observations? I really think it would be helpful for me to hear from astrologers opinions. I tried this Tao-book called "I-Ching" one time that was remarkable. smile

Re: Zodiac Signs:

BB,

I'm hardly an expert.  I just know that certain things are not possible <grin>

I think you still have a coupla of confusions cause if you read something about Mars and Saturn trine - which was supposedly meant to be you - and then you read your Mars and your Saturn are both Scorpio - something is still screwry.

In any case, just post or email me privately if you prefer, your birthday, hour, place of birth and year.

We might learn you are really a forty-five year old cross dresser...just kidding about the cross dresser.
