Topic: Is there life after death?

Ask yourself this "Can you remember when you were born"? Most of you all will say no, so what makes you think that you're going to remember after death. I dont know why but ive been thinking about death alot latley and I keep wondering what death is going to be like. Whats your theory or death,or reincarnation and all of that good stuff.... I dont care to hear a theological explanation as Im already aware of the belief, but i want something different, thanks.......

Re: Is there life after death?

While I don't exactly remember being born, as a child I remembered "where I came from", which was a non-physical, very loving state of being, and I cried often wishing I were "back home". I found this world very harsh and deceitful as a child.

While I've been there at the death bed of a number of people dear to me here in this life, I also had an experience of helping someone realize they were dead while I was in a dream state. I was surprised at how efficient I was at triggering the realization in people that they were no longer physically alive (though still quite alive, btw).

This one guy I was helping "to cross over", we'll say, kept arguing with me that he couldn't be dead because... and he kept listing all the reasons he thought he must still be alive. One reason was because his dog was with him (we were driving around a town in his volkswagon bug, with me and the dog along for the ride). I reminded him that he was in a car accident WITH his dog, and they both died in the event. He didn't believe me.

What finally got him was when I asked him who I was, and if he knew me in his physical life, or remembered when I got in his car. He realized he didn't. When he focused on who I could possibly be, the scene changed and he lit up, remembering who HE "really" was, and that his physical life was a brief sorjourn, not the real deal. LOL!

Anyway, my sense of death is like breaking out of tight-fitting clothing and finally being able to really breathe completely freely again.

That was fun to recall. Thanks, young prince! :-)

Re: Is there life after death?

Hi Young Prince, nice to see your posts.

I've got back into doing tarot readings/healings/ for people.  And occasionally I'll get a message from somoeone who's 'died' for the person I'm reading for.

Sometimes I see three golden white lights one on top of the other dancing/sparkling near the person who I'm reading for.  And then get the impression that someone wants to talk via me to them.  Other times, I get a strong feeling in my head, like dictation, that there's a message.

Each time I get a sense of what they look like and pass this on, together with the information I'm receiving.  It's always been a positive experience for the person I'm reading for, who has been able to let go of grief, or wondering about the dead person's experience.

A couple of years ago I was in a casino with my husband - dressed up like a million dollars, and playing the one cent pokies !!! roll - and I asked Spirit, if they were allowed to help me make money!  Immediately, I was 'overcome' by the 'imprint'  / sensation / smell-memory / can't describe it accurately - of my deceased father (who died when I was ten).  He had been a gambler in his time - and in my mind I heard "I'll help you make money, but you'll have to play black jack".  That had been his favourite card game apparently.  Well, not having played cards for years, I got 'performance anxiety' and said before thinking "I can't play that game, I can't do it".  And he replied, "well I can't help you then". And immediately his energy pulled away.

I tell you Young Prince, that was a real experience for me - even more vivid than the messages I get for people I'm reading for - and I was stunned for ages that my daddy had actually visited me!  It was only later that I kicked myself for not having a go at the cards.

So yes, from my perspective, there is definitely life after death.

Re: Is there life after death?

In answer to your question about reincarnation Young Prince, I'd like to share an experience with you.

When I was a child of 8 years, I had a vision that I just accepted at the time and filed away, along with many other visions and fantasies I accepted as a natural part of my world. The vision was to stay in my unconscious mind until some years ago when I began to awaken to my own potential. During that time, it resurfaced as a rather enlightening memory and one that has indirectly inspired my life. The vision was this...

In my mind I was shown three snapshot aspects of a developing humanity, and each one ran from left to right along a timeline.

The first timeline I was shown was of a single human being

I saw this person being born, growing through childhood, adolescence, adulthood and then into the senior years until dying at an old age. This human started as a 'blank' slate, curious, learning, seeking information, looking within and becoming wiser with age.

The second timeline was one of humanity as a whole.

This picture began with an ape-man, becoming Neanderthal, going through the Stone and Iron Ages, progressing right through the Middle Ages to the Industrial Age, to the Information and Space Age where we are now and then far beyond, becoming competent and wise, not just technologically, but also with compassion for all humans and other beings on the planet. These wise beings were accepted into a universal family, as our descendants interacted with other wise beings from planets beyond our solar system.

The third timeline was from a soul's perspective.

It began with a tiny spark of life emerging from the Universal Life-force Energy. This spark dipped in and out of different lives and lifetimes. It experienced itself through the eyes and emotions of men, women and children through all walks of life, poor and rich, ignorant and sagacious, from ape-man to Universal human. And with every lifetime, this bright spark grew in intensity and size, becoming more loving, more knowing and more joyful, more vibrant and more complete. This timeline, along with the second, was not restricted by the span of one life. Nor was it restricted by time or space. This timeline put the other two into perspective.

When I was an eight year old girl, I just accepted this without question. Later, as an adult, I recalled it with the tingling excitement of someone who recognises a glimpse of a Universal Truth. That vision was so clear that I can view it instantly today. Today, it speaks to me of evolution, of our incredible ability as individuals, as souls and as a united humanity to grow beyond the limitations that have held us back up until now. It speaks of greatness and adventure - the qualities and experiences only to be found by stepping forward in humility, joining hands with each other and with our true essence. To me it shows our true potential if we accept our birthright as divine humans. Humans who are one with the Godforce and connected to each other and all of creation by this loving, wise, joy-filled energy.

I wrote a bit more about this at the following on my website, http://members.ozemail.com.au/~bazaann/ … ereami.htm

I enjoyed reading the above.

Thank you Cipher.

A better question might be: Is there life before death? ;-)

Re: Is there life after death?

What really dies here?  Your physical body and the the 3d world are not even real or solid, they are 99.999% empty space  or a holographic energy field that is percieved  as real and solid.
We are not our bodies IMO they can be classed as suits that we wear in order to experience and learn about creation and to grow in awareness. There is only one consciousness, one mind and i think we are it. The very thing that animates these energy fields (thoughts?) is the same thing we are so i can't see how this can die.

The thing that may die is your ego and personality but they are just shells and not the real us and its possible that the real us records all our life experiences as a means of growing in wisdom.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: Is there life after death?

Indeed consciousness cannot die. Physical can be recycled, that is, it seems like something is destroyed or dies but the energies just becomes to something else or go back into the pool of essence waiting to be reutilized. My individual consciousness has had many experiences, i.e., reincarnated as human and otherwise ... as human, flower, rock, planet, star, spider, android, cat, etc., etc. My consciousness projects part of itself into physical form for the experience, then returns, expanding my consciousness. I am my consciounsess, I'm not the body I'm inhabiting at any given moment. Indeed, I can inhabit many physical forms at once.

Re: Is there life after death?

Great, but how do you know for certain that it will never end? Are you sure consciousness cannot die? Because I have heard information of the contrary - that it is actually possible to 'kill' consciousness . . .

I am as is Void.

Re: Is there life after death?

As I understand it, individual consciousness can be merged back with Creator Spirit so it doesn't know it is individuated. In this way, for example, there is justice toward the nasty ones in the higher realms, as well as murder by the nasty ones. It may seem like the consciousness is "dead" but it's just not individuated ... the individual consciousness is dead. Is this what you mean?

Not for the part of us that is created in the image of God, which I understand is above and beyond time and creation and therefore endless and limitless.  Cool!

As I understand it, the consciousness that springs from ego mind i.e. a part of our personality that was created in reaction to something in life that didn't allow us to be ourSelf is finite.  The consciousness that springs from our true identity, our Divine Self, our heart-mind, is a part of All That Is and is created from beyond this illusory plane of existence and therefore cannot be destroyed either.

Neo, Sowelu, thanks smile

Thanks for your reply Monica.

Monica wrote:

No, what I meant was the total elimination (somehow) of any particular individuation before it has had it's chance to return to Source.

Cipher wrote:

Indeed. Both of these seem right to me and they're what I want to believe, but like I said above I have actually heard it possible to not only trap and contain a 'soul' (or individuation) indefinitely, but that it is possible to end it's individuation completely. Hence my question as it can be more than difficult finding info about this.

Not to go off topic but some of my information is that this is the actual ultimate goal of regressives. To end the individuation of any and all 'souls' or all 'spirit' and somehow end the Creation itself.

I am as is Void.

Re: Is there life after death?

Xenopope, we might be on the same page. For example, I was told that upon death the ones who committed the 9-11 acts (the "terrorists" who went down with the planes) were given one last chance to "kneel before their high self" and admit whatever they needed to admit in divinity. When they wouldn't, pfff, their individual consciousness was "repealed" (as I'm told it's called). These ones wouldn't choose to return to their Source, even given the opportunity. The entities that were their higher consciousnesses remain alive, though.

I agree with Cipher that it is the false ego consciousness that is destroyed, not consciousness that is aligned with the heart. However, I do know that full consciousness can be destroyed also. The two main players of the mightiest clan of "dark" entities who were the masterminds behind the illuminati, anunnaki, dark reptilians, etc., were also recently repealed. For so long their free choice in this universe was given precedence over the fact that their free choices stole the free choice of others. They'd been given innumerable chances to turn around and many times agreed to do so, only to once again prove untrustworthy. Their purpose was Cipher's "off topic" info ... to destroy all individual expressions of this creation, to destroy creation itself, and to create an enslaved and Borg-like universe to feed their STS purpose. Their full consciousness was laced with false ego and was destroyed, nevermore for any molecules to touch. No aspect of their individuality exists. Though their clan still strives to carry out their purpose, the chances are slim that they will succeed. This story is some people's prophecies of the final battle of the dark and light in the endtimes.

Peace,
Mon
