Topic: Mystery planes continue to circle over Lodi [California]

I thought this was interesting....for several reasons.    1)  The whole mystery in itself of what these planes are and what they're doing - nobody seems to know, and the Feds are keeping mum.   2) The fact that people actually noticed this was happening....they actually looked up for a change!  And  3) I've experienced weird planes myself circling around and around and around for hours (while I lived up in Portland).

Sounds nuts, but in my experiences in California, and Oregon, people just don't look up.  I used to say "You could fly UFOs around in broad daylight and nobody would notice!!"

I mentioned the Oregon circling planes phenomenon in my thread "What the @#%! is going on in Oregon?!"  but to recap it here, when I was staying in an apartment with my brother in North Portland, there were these small planes that would fly in repeated circles over where we lived....for hours.   This would go on and on, starting as early as 6 in the morning.   We lived near Portland International Airport, so there was some sort of excuse for them, but still....why would planes fly in repeated circles for hours?  I've never heard of that, but maybe I'm missing something.   Coincidentally, the weather would change after they would do this - the clouds would coalesce and then it would go back to raining.   Another time I coincidentally got very sick after the planes' repeated circling.   So I don't think it was my imagination that they were up to no good.

Anyway, just thought I'd pass this along.  I'd like to mention too that for anybody reading this, it's not a bad idea to pay attention to what's going on in the skies, whether it be mysterious aircraft, chemtrails, strange clouds or whatnot.  It's always good to pay attention to what's going on around us.

Somebody should shoot the planes down then they wouldn't be a mystery anymore

Brad, unless you have something interesting and constructive to add to this forum, perhaps you should find another group of people to annoy with your innane drivel because you're getting rather tiresome.

During the last new moon he came close to getting banned but got a warning instead, now a month later he popped again and got the boot. Predictable and inevitable.

Hmmmm....

Was on vacation this long weekend, in Windsor Canada, directly across the river from Detroit. At the Casino. They had a lounge band that played oldies covers. One song was "Lodi" by CCR. But until reading this thread I never knew exactly what/where they were singing about, tho' I'd sung along to that song since I first heard it in the late 60s.

So, perhaps those planes "stuck" in Lodi?

LODI (J.C. Fogerty)

Just about a year ago, I set out on the road,
Seekin' my fame and fortune, lookin' for a pot of gold.
Things got bad, and things got worse, I guess you will know the tune.
Oh ! Lord, Stuck in Lodi again.

Rode in on the Greyhound, I'll be walkin' out if I go.
I was just passin' through, must be seven months or more.
Ran out of time and money, looks like they took my friends.
Oh ! Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again.

The man from the magazine said I was on my way.
Somewhere I lost connections, ran out of songs to play.
I came into town, a one night stand, looks like my plans fell through
Oh ! Lord, Stuck in Lodi again.

Mmmm...
If I only had a dollar, for ev'ry song I've sung.
And ev'ry time I've had to play while people sat there drunk.
You know, I'd catch the next train back to where I live.
Oh ! Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again.
Oh ! Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again.
