I have to say I've enjoyed all the ones I've seen that you've all mentioned above ...

ehhnus, Coupling is definitely worth checking out!  But make sure you watch the episodes in the right order.

Little Britain is another brilliant British classic with 2 blokes playing all the parts.  My husband now annoyingly goes around mimicking them with: "eeh, eeeh, eeeeeh" and "yeah-but, no-but", and "bittey", and "I'm a ladeeeeey"  - which you will understand if you watch it.  Gross and very very funny!!!

A tame but fairly well put together sci-fi series I'm enjoying at the moment is Battlestar Galactica - anyone else seen that?

And did anyone see the sci-fi series Farscape?  I loved that but it got axed after a two or three series.  Don't know why though.

I also liked Sliding Doors. Great concept and well put together.

Didn't read back through the thread, so I don't know if it's already been mentioned:  Fantastic Planet

It's an animated feature length film done back in the early 70's; French with English subtitles.  I just got it on DVD.  Extremely disturbing and thought provoking!

this movie FP is defenitely one engrossed with symbology.

i really really wonder what these people were thinking when they came up with this animated film.

woah woah wait - did they just re-release Fantastic Planet or something? did u get the new rerelease soloflecks? is it in english? and are the voice overs crummy like i suspect they would be. bah id rather have it in french

I just watched Dark City. Very interesting. In once scene there is a piece of paper shown with a list of names on it. My name (first and last) is on that list!
