and the story explains it ... but u never know
Well, I would feel bad if it turned out to be real, and here I am trying to be skeptical. So I don't mean to sound like a spoilsport, because I've always been interested in all things weird and paranormal. But I don't know....you just have to be careful nowadays, because technology has advanced enough that the average person now has access to computer software that can EASILY create something very real looking. In the 50's people had to string up plates and saucers from a backyard tree then take a fuzzy picture of it if they wanted to fake a UFO picture. Nowadays....just turn on your computer and launch some really good software programs. Also factor in how many people out there love tricking people and totally get off on that sort of thing, and the attention and ego boost that it brings amongst their fellow hoaxers.....I don't know. Just call me skeptical and pessimistic I guess.
I don't know why, but the whole UFO thing feels so tired to me. I've been researching it since I was 9, and after all these years, all those hopes and dreams I had
....and I think that I *may* have *possibly* seen a real UFO once, in Portland. That's it! After all that skywatching! And all that yelling at the sky, "WHERE ARE YOU!?!? COME AND GET ME!!!!!" Once!!! One time!!!! And I can't even be 100% sure that they were UFO's!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr!
(the ones I saw were hovering near Portland International Airport, and moved left to right and up and down at 90 degree angles...an impossibility for standard human aircraft that would be coming and going from an airport. They spent a lot of time hovering, and changed colors rapidly, red, gold, green, white, blue, etc. They look like sparkling illuminated jewels in a way. They also seemed to grow smaller then bigger again. Couldn't really tell what the hell they were doing, but it went on for about 15 minutes. Who knows though.)
See???? I'm just another UFO folklore tale, in a sea of thousands of tales. It gets tired I guess after awhile. I think it would all seem less tired and played out if we could all stop treating this phenomenon as a "woooooo!! mysterious!" phenomenon that's always in doubt. Just admit, "Yeah, UFO's are real, WHAT!" Get it over with. Stop going in circles about it, chasing our own tales. "Yeah, they're real! And?? Next!" Doesn't it just feel so tiresome that here we are, coming up on almost **60 years** since the 1947 Roswell incident, and 1948 Kenneth Arnold, state of Washington UFO sighting which launched the modern UFO era, and we have still yet to confirm once and for all that YES!! UFO's ARE REAL DAMMIT! Would be nice. Even if we confirm it only for ourselves. Forget always looking to the government to finally "give us permission" to be able to stop going in circles, and be able to talk about it freely in mixed company, out in the open, without fear of ridicule.
Alright, enough of my rant.....
