Here's a really good article about the symbolism in Star Wars by Clyde Lewis
http://www.clydelewis.com/dis/ourwars/ourwars.shtml
Ayahuasca,
Thanks for posting the Clyde Lewis article on Star Wars. Below, I pasted some selections from near the end of the article:
One hopes that the dark side is overcome. However, we are seeing that the darker more reptilian side is embraced by a critical mass of people and encouraged through the media and, of course, in current science fiction stories.
The secret societal stronghold of death fetishism, mind control, and conditioning has now been exposed. The triumvirate of government, religion, and commerce has developed a system of programming in which information can be inserted into the public consciousness and taken away or dismissed at will, in order to get a reaction from those who don’t even bother to question the intent of the information.
…
The mysteries of the secret institutions hold a duality as well. Those in power who are members of these groups appear to be looking out for our best interests, but in secret they bear different names and have different responsibilities to carry out an even bigger agenda.
…
Looking at the Star Wars mythology we can also see that duality plays a big role in the stories of the main characters. It is interesting to see how the ruling class in the story tends to be focused on duality, bloodlines and an unknown force that drives them.
The focus is primarily on the duality, bloodline and force of Anakin Skywalker. The extremes are the underlying tone set for the entire journey. Anakin represents the extreme good and innocence that is killed off for the advent of extreme evil.
All criminals, murderers and dictators were once innocent children. Somewhere they experience loss and the fear that they may have to go to extremes in order to save that which they love or destroy that which they feel threatens them.
Anakin meets others in powerful positions that also have a duality that they have to deal with. Queen Padme Amidala appears as a painted monarch (Amidala) and eventually shows herself as a more adventurous and rebellious girl (Padme). This duality is different than Anakin’s because it is more of emotions and protocols rather than good and evil.
Being the Padme persona makes her feel safer than in her queenly vestiges. We begin to see her evolution as the movies progress. Eventually she sees the value of being true to her personal convictions.
This means that she must choose between policy and protocol and her intuition that she has kept to herself. She learns that listening to that inner voice is far more valuable. She eventually sees it as a far better choice to become more comfortable with being honest to those around her.
The most frightening duality is that of Senator Palpatine. On the outside he is respected figure of the republic. He uses his outside persona as way to gain confidence with those around him. Underneath this false mask is Darth Sidious, a Dark Lord of the Sith.
This is his real self.
He is a predator who uses divisive methods to deceive those around him. The danger is that in his powerful position he can use whatever means necessary to create the idea that he is being persecuted and that there is conspiracy to destroy him.
There have already been many political writers that have speculated that George Lucas has been writing about the situation that we are in today and has hidden them in his Star Wars scripts.
However, it must be realized that what Lucas has done is to retell a story that continues to repeat in our history. From the Roman Empire to Nazi Germany, we have all learned about these events, and if we are projecting them on to our realities then we must take a look at what this means.
I see it as a metaphor to hint that we must look into ourselves and wonder if we are on the right side or the wrong side. Are we looking at the mirror and seeing what we want to see, or what is the true image of what is happening?
"The World is governed by different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes." –Benjamin Disraeli
…
In the Star Wars movies, the Phantom Menace was Senator Palpatine. He was orchestrating the fall of all that was good and he used all of the tools he could to deceive everyone, including the confused and troubled Anakin Skywalker. Anakin represents innocence. Palpatine represents abuse of power to rob innocence of its virtue.
The mirroring of Anakin and the Republic and the dark forces hidden behind evil men and women in the powerful elite are beginning to take shape. If you see it in our reality and understand its metaphoric implications, you may be able to avoid the dark force that looms over us on a day to day basis.
Many people won’t see it, and, needless to say, the media will not point out how the Star Wars movies are a lesson in how fascism rises in times of crisis.
Using the media as a tool to engineer society, the powerful and shadowy elite give us bits and pieces of the vision. They expose us to abstract shadows. We are compelled to watch and we wait in long lines to be stimulated by the tricks of the flickering image, being told that it is only a movie when it is so much more.
Check this out. Down, almost to the end is a list of movies that promote the Illuminati agenda. Very interesting:

Here is a substantial thread on "trauma based mind control" for anyone who is interested:

Two movies that the author describes as having an awareness raising aspect to them are Mulholland Drive and Eyes Wide Shut.
Here is the section on Mulholland Dr.:
"The one major area that has not been covered so far is the heavy Illuminist indoctrination of Hollywood. We know of only one movie that was directly intended to expose this Hollywood indoctrination – Mulholland Drive by David Lynch."
"After reading a healthy dose of Svali, the bizarre, frightening Mulholland Drive makes perfect sense – mafia / Illuminist control of Hollywood movie production, the frightening blackmail character known as "the Cowboy," (probably indicative of Bush Administration and cronies,) mind-controlled attractive blonde females preferentially given movie roles by Mafia honchos despite lack of talent, a demon that actually manifests at the end of the movie and is holding a blue box and key symbolic of mind control techniques, the betrayal of friends at the hands of others, hidden assassinations, Luciferian nighttime rituals featuring an opera singer and magician with supernatural evil events, et cetera. Most people say they do not understand this movie."
The various points made on the other movies have some insight to them. In addition, a case could be made that portrayals of negative control techniques and methods has the result that some people learn more about them and this can create a beneficial effect.
Thanks Sheesh.

Hi all,
Thanks for posting this, wandering1. I own "Mulholland Drive" actually, and it's one of my all time favorite movies. ! And it's not like I go around buying just any movie. I have my own reasons for why I like it, most notably the feel of the movie; with the aid of the brillant musical score this movie very accurately captures the feel of L.A. as I experienced it and saw it-- beautiful and empty. An beautiful empty wasteland full of shattered dreams. The opening scene alone is intriguing to watch. Just a lone black car slowly meandering along uphill through the Hollywood Hills at night as the eery David Lynch music plays and the opening credits roll. Doesn't seem very exciting to some I'm sure, but I dug it. The way each scene is done too....I mean, it's just brillant in every way. The cast of strange characters, the random scenes of darkly comedic situations that seem nonsenical...at first. But it all comes together at the end. I've watched his other movies, "Lost Highway" and "Wild at Heart", but in this one he finally pulls off what he was trying to accomplish with the others. This one is darker, more mature.
Many people didn't understand this movie, and I'll delve into spoilers here. But basically, the main character, Diane Selwig (played by Naomi Watts) killed herself and the entire movie is her fantasy - where she is now cast in the main role, most importantly, being the one in control, and it all goes the way she would have wanted it to go. I've never considered the possibility of Illuminati Hollywood indoctrination til reading this. Very interesting! It can indeed have that double meaning -- the fantasy delusion complete with the new persona and new name can be representative of a split / alter personality; the mysterious key featured throughout the movie is of course another mind control symbolism; What's weird is that the first time I ever watched it, during the opera performance at the end I felt like I was in a trance at that point while watching it, (partly because I'd been drinking wine too
)......and I knew what was going to be said before it was said. REALLY weird. I was mouthing the words a split second before they were actually said on screen. Tripped me out!
"Eyes Wide Shut"......................another brillant movie that most people hated and did not understand to save their life. This movie is supposed to be a revelation about not only what the elite do behind closed doors, but about mind control as well. It's so flipping obvious....if you know what to look for. The scene of Alice, (played by nicole kidman) gazing at her own reflection in a mirror in a blank daze? Hello..."Alice Through the Looking Glass", huge mind control tool. At the end where she tearfully describes to her husband (tom cruise) the "dream" she just had about being at an orgy having sex with many men...describing the very scene he had only just returned from.....that's the split personality alter ego, remembering the things she did while in her alter state. Often times these memories will surface in the form of "dreams". Especially the sex stuff. The masquerade ball at the gothic mansion north of NYC, everything done up in black and red, nearly naked women roaming around, the ritual performed in reverse Latin, (I love the music during this scene, just so incredibly creepy in an interesting way!) The prostitute that Tom Cruise crosses paths with named "Domino"- a word with two meanings. Domino as in, the domino effect, which is what the movie is about on one level; and domino as in another mind control word / name that's often used. People thought this movie was so boring but I loved it. Every shot is filled with bold color and is fun to look at in itself. There's a lot more I could get into; everything in this movie had a reason for being there. The names, the key words, every scene. I just wish I could have seen the version that Stanley Kubrick intended to put out. Unfortuantely he "died" (killed?) before the final cut was put together, and Steven Spielberg had to edit the final version which is the one that was released.
As for Star Wars, some interesting parallels to "knowledge" out there in the alternative sources. Darth Maul said to be just like a reptilian, as described by Icke's friend, Credo, and Palpatine seeming to "get off" on Anakin's strong, negative emotions, ala "loosh".
Is Lucas a goodie or a baddie?
Looks like an interesting movie...

The trailer does it better justice than anything I can write - I would like to hear peoples comments on this though...
One of my friends called me to watch this film's trailer. Amazing. Things are getting really interesting.
"They dont want you to know WHAT you are"? Not who?
I agree previous posts. This may be a common work of STO/STS but there are lots of movies, series, ads even billboards full of messages/metaphors lately. I think this is up to us. We'll make the choice and act accordingly.
Well, I look around and unfortunately don't get too hopeful for the future ![]()
Is Lucas a goodie or a baddie?
for some reason,
"don't shoot the messenger"
comes to mind
Someone earlier meantioned the movie "Eyes Wide Shut"
I just saw this movie last weekend. It was so amazing that I had to watch it again that same night!
This movie (in my opinion) breaks down "the American dream" to show that it doesn't hold anything special to 'ordinary' people. I haven't come close to understanding the meanings that Kubrick meant to show but I've read some intresting reviews about this movie. This movie also deals with the Illuminati and some people may say that Kubrick 'knew' something and was killed right after the movie came out.

And thanks for whoever put up that star wars link! (I forget who it was)
Hello
I just watched a movie that i never even knew existed. After watching it i could understand why this one was .. "swept under the rug" and not promoted very openly...
the movie is called "The Final Cut" and it stars Robin Williams
Its about implanting society with cerebral micrichips into peoples' brains in order to record every single moment of their life... they do this (called a Zoe Implant) in hopes of saving deceased ones' memories so that their families and friends can relish that dead person's life
Robin Williams is a "cutter", an editor who takes the implant, and sifts thru the memories (and chats with the families) and picks out the highlights to make into a nice little movie, called a "remomory"
among the themese presented in this movie, the most prominent is the controversy of this entire "microchipping humans" scenario... but more specifically the ownership of ones' own memories, plus all of the "not-so-good" moments that every person has (and some darker moments of others) - it also touches on the fact that the mind/memory tends to warp real events in the past, shaping them and remmembering them differently as time passes...
the movie pushes the "microchippin humans" is NOT GOOD. and this is why this movie was kind of put on th backburner, and never really talked about... because it goes against the impending plans to implant humanity.
a highly reccomended movie, it was pretty intense!
Ugh, I saw The Final Cut the other night. Intriguing premise but it just didn't do it for me. Zonabi, i don't think the film's lack of popular success was because of the implications. It just isn't a very good movie.
As one reviewer said, it may not need more cutting, but the muddled script definitely needs a rewrite.
Well, here's some more information on the movie and what IMDB users have to say about it, good and bad:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364343/
I haven't seen it myself, so, can't comment. ![]()
It's a movie - people are going to have different opinions.
I think that I will take a look at "The Final Cut".
It's a movie - people are going to have different opinions.
And as I always say, everyone is entitled to my own opinion
I'm critical of most movies, see very few that I want to watch all the way thru--I bailed out on "Final Cut."
But here's one I saw recently and really enjoyed: "Kontroll", from Hungary, about subway ticket takers in Budapest. The whole movie takes place in the subway, showing the camaraderie and rivalry among the workers, and spotlighting one who apparently has chosen to live there full-time, sleeping on the subway floor at night. Surreal, exciting, funny, excellent acting, innovative cinematography and a great score by Neo. Someone gives a little speech right at the beginning proclaiming that it's about the struggle between good and evil, which seems apropos enough.
It's out on DVD now, see it!
Jen
well, one might say that the movie was mediocre because it didnt have a major company (read: CORRUPT COMPANY) with millions$$$ to produce it... further indicating some form of repression...
but anyhow , i tend to look at a movies' message on top of its cinematography or cast or direction.
(ok, i try to.... heheheh)
