Synchronicity and Number Sightings (Page 10 of 11)

Following up on the above post I wrote, later that day on which I wrote the post, I met my hub and a few of his friends/colleagues for food&drinks. They had been attending a 3-day design seminar. One of the things I talked about was the number 9 (including its mulitples, etc), as I was excited about it after having just read about it here. I admitted that I was being goofy about it, but added, what if there's something to these number synchronicites. They all laughed about this, and yes, decided I was being flaky about it. No problemo, I'm used to this, as I'm excitable and enthusiastic about many things.

So we all left, went our separate ways; I went home with my son as we were on our bikes and couldn't join them at an awards show/after party. Next day, hub told me that en route to the show they stopped at a red light, someone looked out the window and noticed in an apt. window right in front of them that there were no curtains or blinds, but 3 cardboard numbers, tall and clear, 3,3,3. And it had nothing to do with the address of the building, nor the floor (window was on the first floor/street level), btw. They all looked and joked about the coincidence of this, but that was it.

Hmmm...

Hub also said that he was seeing another number, 5 (his "number") all over the place, since this 3-day seminar had started. He saw it several times, but he'd not kept count of how many times he saw it. I jokingly (not really) said to him, that this number 5 was "calling him", because his last name has a distinct 5 in the pronounciation (if you know how to pronounce it, it's French). He thought that might be true, and felt it was also a positive omen.

Next day, he attended the final day of the seminar, when they were calling out the names of the 3 people who'd win prizes in a draw. He said he stood there anxiously, "knowing" that he was going to win something. Sure enuff, names/prizes 3 and then 2 were announced; and who was the grand prize winner? My husband. He said that the presenter struggled with his last name (which is typical) and he went to the stage smiling, supremely excited for having won a new pc, flat screen monitor...

So a 3-day design seminar; 333 appearing to me and him/others (with whom I'd just told about 9). And repeating 5s appearing to him over the 3 days. Means something?   

I've not been monitoring the forum lately but I'm just checking in and I've been having number sightings CONSTANTLY for about 2-3 weeks now.  I never did before, really.  It's all of a sudden like out of nowhere.  11:11 very often, a lot of 33's, and various other doubles and sequentials.  I'm not sure if there is a direct correlation or not between the number sighted and what I am doing at the moment but I think there might be; I'm just not quite well versed enough on the significance of all the numbers to really interpret it.

Then Happy 555 Day to us all!  Sure our calendar is a human invention, but so are clocks and when I see 555 on a clock it usually signifies a good thing so the same on a calendar may be just as fortuitious. Five is  the number of fuel, nourishment, energy. I think even with a small number of people around the world noticing "5-5-5" and being subconsciously or consciously reminded of the greater synchronicity behind the events in our lives, this should impart a slightly more positive nudge on our collective realm today.

Dial 9 for an outside line.

Could number synchronicities be somehow misunderstood by us in a slight way.  For example, the number that pops up for me a lot is 23 (The Simpsons keeps bringing this number up, hence my thinking about this), and I wonder if the numbers we see are our connection to whatever energy resonates with these numbers.  Let's say Earth is a 23 vibration, and instead of us picking up this number from outside, perhaps we are projecting this number to the outside.

I know it may be a small point, and may be insignificant.  After all, to resonate a certain number, it ultimately doesn't really matter what point it is coming from, because once the connection is made, it is merely a path and not the source or destination.  But, still, it makes me see it in a different light, in a more active way.  I just always assumed I was perhaps picking something up, with little real participation in the phenomenon.  However, perhaps thinking that it is not a passive connection would let one make more connections, and show the importance of changing one's self in order to vibrate at the right frequency in order to "dial out" with these pathways between us and the higher planes.

This is from an old set of writings I made on Tarot and numerology.  I just found it yesterday, so maybe it's appropriate.  Maybe it's not.

The threes signify the stage of planning.  Having decided which path to take in the twos, it is now the time to decide how best to accomplish our goal.  To blindly move forward in naive enthusiasm could prove disastrous.  On the other hand one must be cautious as to not become entangled in their own web.  Each approach to the situation will have its own benefits, and corresponding risks.  In the end, we will have to make a choice, or else face the danger that the time for action will be missed.
