Topic: THE LAB

Ask yourself:

Am I an Artist that strives for originality without a place in society?
Am I a Scientist that strives for knowledge without a place in society?

Am I sick of corruption, greed, vanity and the endless and meaningless struggles of the so-called ‘normal’ life?
Am I in need to meet and live and work together with others like me?

Am I interested in becoming an illuminated being that can use knowledge found and art created to change the world for the better?

If all answers to these questions are YES then read on…

the LAB manifesto
(a brief outline and more information can be given upon request)

·    The LAB’s aim is to bring together the Artist and the Scientist for the manufacture of SciArtistic work.

·    The LAB will supply an atmosphere of creative freedom where the artist/scientist can improve their work and produce it with the help of others like-minded for the benefit of themselves and all mankind. The LAB is supposed to be a haven where the trivialities of society won’t disturb with the ongoing process of creative and scientific work.

·    Nationality, gender, age, apperance, sexual preferences or experience is of no value. Only the individual will be considered and if that individual is serious, dedicated, creative and in geniue love of the improvement of knowledge and originality concerning art, science and the birth of the God within. Scientists might not perceive themselves as creative but the LAB begs to differ. It is a well-known fact that such men as Albert Einstein used creativity to envision his theories of Relativity (regardless of their accuracy). The brain has two halfs and so does SciArt therefore the LAB will be duality formed into one.

·    The LAB would like to stress the fact that it is an ideal place for women since society offers them little in encouragement, confidence and strength. A female artist and, especially, a female scientist might have a higher ladder to climb in society. The LAB has no ladders; it is a platform where all men and women stand equal.

·    The LAB, ideally, will be one or several buildings with all the necessary facilities (kitchens, individual studies/bedrooms, rooms for gathering, studio, laboratory, toilets/showers etc) with preferably a large outdoor area (and access to a spring, lake or ocean if possible).

·    All forms of religion, patriotism, traditionalism and all other form of political and social isms are, for the benefit of the LAB’s atmosphere, abandoned. There are plenty of doors into isms in socitey and the LAB will not open another. The LAB will instead try and construct new doors where no key is required. The isms will only be considered in work intended to destroy, deconstruct, evaluate or improve them.

·    An artist/scientist on a diet of meat cannot rise above the primordial dogma of digesting dead flesh, unless he is willing to end the hypocrisy by supplying and devouring human flesh. The LAB values all life as equal with an aim of the LAB to one day produce and manufacture its own food resources.

·    Animals are not allowed unless the LAB has the ability to supply grounds where the animals can roam freely. This is because the LAB values freedom for all creatures, and this also means that nothing produced should be harmful to the enviroment unless that enviroment is the fundamental dogmatic prison of the world known as society.

·    In the LAB one can be a hermit or the direct opposite, whatever fits his/her needs, and live by his/her own time.

·    The LAB is closed to the public for saftey reasons, but this does not mean that it closes its doors on the society that exists outside. School classes will be allowed to visit and experience the LAB. People who are interested in attending the LAB will also be allowed to visit. In this sense the LAB is a constant open house, but it won’t let anyone in without understanding the visitor’s intentions. There shall be no acceptance of governmental agencies, trash journalism, political and/or religious fundamentalists whose only aim is to oppose the freedom of soul and mind that the LAB will try and spread to the world.

·    The aim of the LAB is to become completely devoid of any monetary concerns and self-sufficient instead of a hostage of the food, water and electricity companies or the chains of a landlord.

·    In what the LAB produces no form of advertising, product planting and/or commercials with monetary aims are to be touched or dealt with, unless the purpose is to destroy, expose or defile them (i.e. the brand/product).

·    Everyone is encouraged to work with people they necessarily would not work with. All proposals will be considered and there will be complete creative freedom. Everyone will have the chance to lead and direct their own projects, whilst they help out on others. And everyone is free to pursue projects that include no one else but themselves.

·    The LAB will go to extreme lengths to ensure that whatever material is produces reach the public through such mediums as films, TV, radio, books, magazines and the Internet will be used to its full potential. The LAB will try and establish its own TV and radio broadcast system and keep an official homepage updated regularly, because it does not want to go through corporate and governmentally controlled channels.

·    The LAB will work in the following fields of Art:

Books, Comics, Film, Essays, Music, Poetry, Paintings, Magazines, Plays, Performing Arts, Manuscripts for Film / TV, Radio, Sculptures, Theatre and TV.

·    The Lab will work in the following fields of Science:

Agriculture, Alchemy, Archeology, Astral / Aura, Biology, Chemistry, Eastern Medicine, Enviromental Science, Esoterism, Food, Genetics, Gnosticism, Healing, History, Homeopathy, Levitation, Linguistics, Magic, Magnetism, Martial Arts, Mathematics, Medicine, Metaphysics, Mythology, Occultism, Parapsychology, Philosophy, Physics, Psychoanalysis, Space Technology, Theosophy and Transcendentalism.

·    If you do not see a subject that interest you it does not mean it won’t be included as the above lists are only a brief example of possible fields. Art and Science is infinite and the only one who can decide what fields of SciArt that shall be worked with is decided by the interest of whoever is involved.

·    Did any of this sound interesting? If it did then read on…

·    The LAB is in its infancy and what is needed first is people interested in making this happen with the will to make it happen. By reading this far, and if still in favour of the LAB, you have done plenty already. Write to the people already involved in this concept and start talking and to see if the LAB, and the wonderful freedom it will bestow (not to forget the possible artistic and scientific achievements that awaits), could be brought into frutition.

This is only the beginning of a longer manifesto, anyone interested that is a scientist or artist into forming a union free from society's bonds???? We are 6 already, I figure at least 25 will set things off...

United we sleep, divided we dream!
