Topic: Don't even know what to call this thread....

There were a few different pages I might've been able to post this to but couldn't make up my mind which was best. I finally just said to heck with it and plunked it down here.

I came home last night to find a phone message from a friend who lives in my area, she was excitedly asking me if I had felt the earthquakes... earthquakes in FL you may ask? Seems as though it might be a good question because FL is not at all considered earthquake country. She has now just sent me this from http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index695.htm--

Large Cosmic Blast Scars Atmosphere above United States Florida Region, Continuing Government Lies Not Being Believed

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Russian Subscribers

Reports have reached us today confirming that our earth has been struck yet again by another energy blast and this as powerful as to cause the shaking of the earth itself.

As we can read from the United States Newspaper the St. Petersburg Times (Florida) in this report titled “Sonic booms shake up area” , and which says, "The shaking registered on the U.S. Geological Survey seismograph in Orlando, measuring 2.7 on the Richter Scale, the equivalent of a weak earthquake. Central Florida is not an active earthquake area, said USGS duty officer Madeleine Zirbes."

Western propaganda sources are attributing this latest cosmic blast to a ‘sonic boom’ being caused by military aircraft, and as they have done in the past, and relying on their citizens not realizing the impossibility of this happening, as if even any aircraft breaking the sound barrier could produce the energy equivalent of  18 tons of TNT which would be equal to a 2.7 Richter Scale earthquake event.

Even to this being so we can read from this report from the Dryden Flight Research Center of the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, titled “Sonic Booms FS-2003-11-016 DFRC” , and which says, "The width of the boom "carpet" beneath the aircraft is about one mile for each 1000 feet of altitude. An aircraft, for example, flying supersonic at 50,000 feet can produce a sonic boom cone about 50 miles wide. The sonic boom, however, will not be uniform. Maxi-mum intensity is directly beneath the aircraft, and decreases as the lateral distance from the flight path increases until it ceases to exist because the shockwaves refract away from the ground."

Not even close, by any measurements known to scientists, can the sonic boom effects of known aircraft direct towards the ground such forces to cause an earthquake, but to continuing these lies to their people they continue to do.  Only to their fear that their citizens might know the true extent of the energy blasts and how the earths weather systems and continental plates are in chaos are these lies being told.

To their credit many peoples of the world do not believe these lies, and as we can read from one Australian citizen about the early February, 2005 event that occurred in Melbourne, Australia and who has said;

"I heard the rumbling and thought, "cool, a storm", because I love storms and always anticipate them. After about 10 minutes, I thought to myself: "That'd be right, all we get is one clap of thunder". But it was the weirdest sounding thunder that I have ever heard. It went on and on and on. It was extremely loud. Much louder than a good belt of thunder.  I can say one thing: It certainly wasn't a "sonic boom". This rumbling went for at least 20 seconds. I've seen jets in airshows and the sonic boom you'd hear from a jet sounded nothing like what I heard last night at all. It was way too loud and way too constant to be a sonic boom."

Even to the September, 2004 event in England we can read as reported from the BBC in this news report titled, "Sonic boom theory for 'explosion'", and which says, "A loud explosion which sent residents running for cover has been heard in Wales for the second time in less than a week.  Windows and homes shook in areas of Denbighshire and Conwy at around 17.50BST on Tuesday."

To the December 21, 2004 energy blast that also affected England we can read in this report from the Manchester Newspaper in this article titled, "Eurofighter boom sparks quake scare", and which says, "The new supersonic Eurofighter Typhoon jet caused an earthquake scare in Merseyside and Lancashire during a test flight today. Tremors were felt just after noon. Emergency services were inundated with calls from people who feared there had been an earthquake."

The February 16, 2005 energy blast over Iran also nearly caused a major conflict to erupt in this troubled region, and as we can read as reported by the United States Boston Globe Newspaper in their article titled, "Iran blast fuels fears of attack", and which says, "TEHRAN -- An explosion in a southern city some 110 miles from a nuclear facility sparked fears yesterday of a missile attack, and Iranian authorities gave conflicting explanations for the blast, including friendly fire in a military area and construction work."

To the differences that human beings would notice between ‘sonic boom’ events being caused by military aircraft and those caused by the earth’s atmosphere the United States Los Alamos National Laboratory has given this example in their report titled "Sonic Booms: Researchers are using a network of microphones to track meteors as they burst into Earth's atmosphere", we can read this description;

"On Oct. 9, 1997, a meteor with an energy corresponding to about 500 tons of TNT entered the atmosphere over El Paso, Texas. The object was only about a yard in diameter, ReVelle estimates, but it startled eyewitnesses.  There was an initial blast that was very loud, like an explosion, followed by long-duration sound like a train, a roar almost," ReVelle said. One woman told ReVelle of being disoriented by the initial explosion as the meteor broke apart. A park ranger said his ears rang for a half hour afterward."

Today as the world grows ever closer towards great cataclysmic changes these Western peoples would be better served by ignoring the lies of their propagandists and turn back towards the knowledge of their ancient ancestors, who not only knew about these present events, but had built and preserved the world over their warnings to the human people of today.  For indeed today the Thunder Gods of old have returned.

I've never before seen this web page, nor have I ever heard of Sorcha Faal... you guys?

I didn't feel any tremors early yesterday evening, but I was out and about driving around so it's not likely that I would've. Not to mention a 2.7 mag earthquake is not a real biggy, but she said it rattled her windows.

What do y'all make of this?

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

I'm actually from Florida myself, the Tampa area to be exact and was on my computer when I felt the rumble of the earthquake, I knew I felt an earthquake this just confirms it now lol

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

E3mpirical 1,

Okay, so you felt it too... did you hear a sonic boom right before the tremor?

And Fusion lives in Tampa as well, Fusion did you feel or hear anything early yesterday evening?

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

No i dont recall any kind of sonic boom i dont know what one sounds like. it felt like some huge aircraft was been hovering right over the house but no, i just heard the rumble and the windows were shaking

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

No I did not hear the sonic boom, but I live in the SE corner of Tampa. I did think it was strange that all the major news stations had a red alert banner running across the bottom on the TV screen asking people to remain calm and that the shake was caused by 2 jets flying at supersonic speed over the water approaching the Air Force base.

I've lived a good bit of my life in Tucson AZ home of the countires 5th largest Air Force base and have heard many sonic booms. What the article says is correct, the lower the jet is to the ground the smaller area the boom reaches. These 2 claimed f-17's were over the water (outside of Tampa) on descent (low altidude) to land. No way should the boom have been heard much less felt that far inland. I would be inclined to agree with the article, the offical story does not add up.

Thanks Greg.

This further begs the question--FCOL! If they were approaching the Air Force base--I would gather supposedly to come in for a landing, being on a descending flight pattern as noted--then what in the hell were they doing going fast enough to break the sound barrier. And, even if they weren't coming in for a landing, why fly so low and so fast?

This makes no sense to me whatsever... well, unless what were being told is a crock of kwap, and it has absolutely not a thing one to do with F-17's as Sorcha Faal is reporting.

EDIT--I know this is an odd thing to write, but maybe the F-17's were "running" from something... I've got my head whipping back and forth between tiospaye 1's thread I made a comment on a bit ago and this one. I had wanted to add an additional comment on that page, but it's so "out there".... what the heck, why not? It's all only conjecture on my part anyway wink .

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

Personally I suspect there are some secret (human) organisations with crafts capable of intercepting and destroying alien crafts. I also suspect blowing up something makes noise and causes tremors. These organisations may have originally spawned as secret research facilities within existing branches of the military, like the US Air Force or US Navy, but I think by now they no longer answer to those branches and likely not to the US elected government either.

It would not surprise me at all if these organisations have a policy of intercepting anything that does not offer them direct advantages, such as military technology and resources. It's quite possible that battles are being waged in or above Earth's atmosphere. It is also quite possible the battle itself is not a physical one, but that "shadows" of it manifest in the physical world.

Seattle Fireball, Quake, Power Outage

13-Mar-2005

Unknowcountry's Seattle correspondent reports that a fireball moved slowly over the city at 7:47 PM last night. According to the US Geologic Survey, the area had experienced an earthquake rated at 3.3 on the Richter scale nine minutes earlier at 7:38. At 7:48PM, parts of downtown Seattle experienced a brief power outage.

The Pacific Northwest Seismographic Network centered the quake 15 miles from Olympia and 16 miles in depth. Local residents felt the quake. Local media are reporting the quake and the fireball as unrelated events, and the power outage has not reached local news.

We note, also, that there was an earthquake swarm in the Endeavour segment of the northern Juan de Fuca Ridge off the coast of Oregon last week that sent scientists searching the area for possible volcanic activity along the fracture. Earthquake swarms along the Juan de Fuca Ridge are not unusual. In 2001, a swarm resulted in sea water being drawn into crevasses in the plate for more than a year. The sea floor has numerous inflow and outflow points, but the process by which the water moves in and out of ocean floor formations is not well understood. So far, scientists have not reported the results of studies of the most recent quake swarm.

Prior to the great quake that shook the Indian Ocean on December 26, Unknowncountry reported numerous incidents of fireballs and other unusual aerial phenomena throughout South Asia. Some of the most spectacular of these events took place in Indonesia, China and Australia.

Listen to Linda Moulton Howe of Earthfiles.com with a special report at the beginning of this week's Dreamland on the Juan De Fuca Plate. To listen to Dreamland, click on the word Dreamland on the right side of our masthead.

So as not to cause any confusion, I have also posted this article to the "Swarm of undersea quakes draws scientists...." thread.

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

I was looking for some info about a sinkhole that opened up in a downtown street of Tampa yesterday, and lo and behold I stumbled across this--

Boom echos with a question

By PAUL DE LA GARZA, Times Staff Writer

Published March 16, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TAMPA - Did Navy jets landing at MacDill Air Force Base on Friday night break the sound barrier, violating federal speed regulations?

The quick answer Tuesday from government experts: We don't know.

It all started about 8 p.m. Friday, when two F-18 jets en route from the Naval Air Station in Pensacola approached MacDill for landing.

Several witnesses from Citrus to Manatee counties characterized the series of explosions that followed as sonic booms. The blast registered 2.7 on the Richter scale, the equivalent of a weak earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Kathleen Bergen, a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration in Atlanta, said aircraft cannot travel faster than 287 mph under 10,000 feet. A sonic boom off shore generally is created when a jet hits 761 mph, she said.

Bergen said the military would have to request an investigation to determine what happened. She said the military has made no such request.

Dennis McGrath, a spokesman at the Naval Air Station Lemore in California, where the Navy jets that landed at MacDill are based, said the aircraft are loud when they land. He said people often mistake the landing of an F-18 to a sonic boom.

MacDill spokesman Capt. Danny Cooper referred questions to Lemore and the FAA.

My response to the bolded sentence?  roll

I don't know what kind of person likens the sound of an aircraft landing to a sonic boom, but as I've written before, I grew up on or around Naval Air Stations, I've seen many a F-this or that land, and I know sonic booms, whether aircraft or space shuttle... I wonder how this spokesman delivered his statement with a straight face.

As well, the friend I wrote of above also told me that the "rumbles" were felt earlier in the day before the purported sonic booms and the earthquake occured by both her and her mate.  She was at work earlier in the day, in the afternoon, and said she felt a rumble under her feet and the sliding glass doors rattled. He had told her that he felt the ground rumbling all afternoon, not just once or twice.

Re: Don't even know what to call this thread....

BTW (con't. from above)--

You know what? Although I cannot yet find any print on this, I'd wager cash the sink hole opening up in Tampa I wrote about of above is the product of the earthquake. There's a huge aquifer underneath us here in the Tampa Bay area and it's been in environmental crisis for some time now... way too many people, and not enough water migrating underground from GA. Henceforth the aquifer becomes brittle on it's dried up topside, and I would think be easily cracked by a even a minor earthquake. .

There are lots of sinkholes in the county just north of me (Tampa being SE of me), in fact so many so they've been called an "epidemic" environmental issue in that county; homeowners can't even get sinkhole insurance anymore, regardless of cost, it's just that bad. Tampa gets a few here and there, but this one is so close to the quake in timing that they surely must be interrelated.

You know, I could write a whole slew of environmental rhetoric here and now about how we'll "reap what we sow" to a greater degree in times of un/natural disasters because the land has been misused. State, county, and city planning has just been a joke in this area given the condition of the aquifer is not new news, and yet, and freaking yet!, still there is so much new construction in this area it's enough to make one's head spin.

The same in San Francisco with the big 7.0 earthquake in the late 80's. Who's brainchild was it to build ANYTHING on a landfill... at the edge of a freaking faultline? Who's numbskull idea was that, and why was it approved by city planners.... yeah, yeah, yeah, I know $$$$$$$  yikes .

mad  OH MY GOD!!!! mad

Ahem... I need a time out before I start banging my head on my desk.

Heavy sigh.

Snicker! Snort! Todays time out includes a perscribed bellowing of this song big_smile... join me won't you?

Home on the Range

Written By: Brewster Higley
Music By: Daniel Kelley
Traditional

Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day

Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day

How often at night when the heavens are bright
With the light from the glittering stars
Have I stood there amazed and asked as I gazed
If their glory exceeds that of ours

chorus

Where the air is so pure, the zephyrs so free
The breezes so balmy and light
That I would not exchange my home on the range
For all of the cities so bright

chorus

Oh, I love those wild flow'rs in this dear land of ours
The curlew, I love to hear scream
And I love the white rocks and the antelope flocks
That graze on the mountaintops green

Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
