Topic: Tools for healing

I've played around with a lot of alternative healing methods. There are only a few I could say gave some significant and permanent results. The first is soul retrieval with a shaman. I have gone twice and retrieved 7 pieces so far. You have to find a bonafide shaman, there are a lot of psychics who call themselves shamans who are worthless. There is a period of re-integration of the soul pieces, takes a month or two, can be very uncomfortable at times. After that, you feel like a new man (or woman). Better than new.  I knew I was missing a lot of pieces. Some energy workers said "he's not there!" when they were working on me. I had always felt like a major part of me was missing. Ever cut a sandworm in half and see it convulsing around looking for the missing piece? That was me.
A second method I use is the Centerpointe system. Very costly. $150 for the first level. You must listen 1 hr a day to the CD.  Brings up all kinds of subconscious material and your brain integrates it back at a higher level. Causes a lot of growing pains, Centerpointe calls it "overwhelm" and says don't worry it's normal. I'm up to level 2 now, with my own affirmations on the CD. I believe the Centerpointe system actually does re-structure your mind and gets rid of a lot of unconscious garbage and adds resiliency and flexibility.
A new CD I got a few months ago is called HPP (hypno-peripheral processing) by LLoyd Glauberman.  I have the emotional management title. These CD's are a beautiful work of art, I just love listening at bedtime. A different story is told to each ear and it bypasses the conscious filters. Very well done.

Re: Tools for healing

Amazing!! I was just sending an email to thank a friend of mine for pointing me to Holosync (www.centerpointe.com) -- I've meditated on and off for a few years and after just one Holosync session I KNEW this is the real deal (for me at least).  While it's costly the first level as I understand it will probably take someone a year to complete ... so that  isn't that expensive.  I saved up for it. And there is tons of support/help lines.

I suggest going to the website - read the blurb and try not to get irritated by the huge salespitch.  Also, on the left side go to "newsletter" and then read some of the archived newsletters.  I've read nearly all of them (just the bit by Bill, not all the success stories/etc.) and find them very aligned with my path/journey.  Lots of Toltec stuff re. detachment/mirrors/ ...

Thanks WOD -- I'm glad you brought this up!  NR - constant source of connection.  Ain't it a gas!

Re: Tools for healing

Re: Tools for healing

Z ... I only started this yesterday.  Today is only my second day.  Sorry if I wasn't clearer but it's really true.  After the first session I just "knew" ...  on an observable note ... my blood pressure was 20 points lower when I woke up this AM.

So, I don't have my own "overwhelming" situations yet bubbling up but this was one of the reasons I decided and chose to go with this program.  I'm very aware of situations in my youth that were traumatic, yet the "feelings" have been buried, walled off.  Creating a shadow that has as yet been unaccessible to me.  In other words, I'm aware of the pictures (memories) but they are void of emotion.  Which is OF COURSE impossible.

So ... where are those emotions?  Locked up.  Buried.  Hidden.

Thus this program seemed to have a possible key to unlocking this.

I'll keep you posted Z, if/when things arise.  However, I'm doubtful that my daily life would be adversely affected by anything ... instead it could/should only be enhanced by having more of me present.

Re: Tools for healing

okay, and a new situation has been presented to me, my older step brother is in need or help, hes been having depressions and other problems, and I feel that he has alot of "stuff" built up inside of him, thats holding him down. he also mentioned that he has a "chemical imbalance" in his brain, which may or may not be true (could be the Doctor's way of getting him addcited to FDA drugs)

but i thought that i would reccomend to him meditation of course, but then i am also thinking if this HoloSync or BWGen could be another thing he should try out, as a way of clearing out things from the past etc..

i just dont want it to have any nasty side effects on him considered he might have an acutal chemical imbalance?

any thoughts on this>?

Re: Tools for healing

Z ... if you can, spend some time reading the centerpointe.com website.  On the home page, go to "newsletters" and once that comes up, click on archived newsletters and just start reading some -- which include testimonials.  I remember reading one from a well known movie director who was in a deep depression and how holosync helped him.

Apparently, the deep meditation can help rebalance hormones ... also, the program is done on a gradual basis.  You meditate using one CD for 1/2 hour for 2-3 weeks.  Then you use the same CD for a 1/2 hour to take you slowly into the deeper brain levels AND you add the second CD, which is also a 1/2 hour.  This program is called "Dive" and "Immersion" -- but there are other CDs with this first set, that you do after the first 2-3 months.

My thinking is that the deep/depression stuff starts to come up AFTER many many months and by that time, many things have changed ... possibly hormones, chemistry, ability to handle stress etc.

I don't know anything about BWGen but I trust the friend who turned me onto Holosync.
He's been doing Holosync for almost 2 years and swears by it.  PLUS, his life is going well, he's happy, he's successfully doing his musical career etc.

Ask your brother if he would like to try it.  You could both do it!!

Also, why don't you call the Holosync help line and speak with someone.  Apparently they are very helpful.

I'm wishing you and your brother only the best ...  depression is a horrible feeling.

Re: Tools for healing

Hello Zonabi smile

I used Holosinc for about 6 months about 2 years ago. I was ready to go to level 2, but at that time I did not have the means to pay for it. But nevertheless, it still help me a lot. I was really deppresed at that time and took up this cd to give me a ''boost'' to start feeling better. I remember I started to feel the differences only a day after, it was not much but I could feel an inner hapiness starting. It grew with time, I became more and more relaxed, centered and more happy. It helped me to center myself and I was then able to start to really work on my issues without all that negativity way of thinking.

I would suggest to anyone who needs it but a warning to those who have been meditating already for a while. Those that are extremly profeciant with mediation can find that they regress in their meditation capabilities.

As for those who have chemical imbalance and deep depression I am no expert. The site said that it is okay and no problem. But I know that those who have those symptom will find Holosinc to be quite a ride. I lend my cd to my mother who is imbalance chemicaly and she stops only after 2 days because it was bringing to much of pain, memories back up. She could not take it.

As for me, it did bring up all my worries too, memories, fears. But the inner peace that it brought me gave me the strenght to face them and get rid of them one at a time. It is not a miracle solution of a day, I dont think there is such thing. It is a slow process but still very fast to my opinion. Some feel the effect after a day, some a week, some a month or two. But I think it is worth a try.

Be well

Re: Tools for healing

I had some brief overwhelm, I called the "hotline" and got put on hold for 1/2hr while I was flipping out. It didn't happen while I was listening to the CD's. Just in the course of a day, I would feel everything much more intensely, like cranking up the voltage. I think I was actually feeling things for the first time in my life. It was scary because what was previously chained up in my subconscious was suddenly set loose and it felt uncontrollable, like I didn't know how far it would take me. On the good side, I started feeling incredible joy for no reason, and that too had no bounds. I think that either good or bad, it's the feeling of lack of control that scared me the most, I was brought up/programmed to keep my emotions under tight control and suppression.
While listening to the CD's I get a lot of cool effects, flashback memories, vivid imagery and insights, physical sensations. I do EFT (tapping) while listening and it seems to enhance the effects.
I started seeing the most growth about 2 months after the 1st soul retrieval. I had been using Centerpoint for about a year at that time.
An interesting sidenote: the technology used to produce Holosync was borrowed from Raytheon who used it under contract for the CIA. This was reported by Bill Harris, the Holosync founder, at one of his retreats.

Re: Tools for healing

thanks, although the price of these CDs is a bit high for me at the moment...

i really wanna try this!

and i think it could really help my step brother come to terms with himself.

Re: Tools for healing

How is using these any different in principle than taking psychedelics for the same effects? Personally, I have no problem with holosync, binaural beats etc and use them myself, but part of the criticism levelled against psychedelics was that they are a "shortcut". I fail to see how these are any different, and wonder why no one has made the comparison.

Re: Tools for healing

Alushe --

I've thought of this myself and decided that I simply don't have 20 years to work on meditation ... nor do I have the money to attend various meditative retreats ... however, I believe that meditation is a very integral part of my spiritual pursuits and yet I've never really done it.  So - yes, it's easier/a shortcut perhaps/but something I'm aware of.

As for psychedelics my take is simply that one will either get something from the experiences BECAUSE they are ready/able/open to get something from the experience OR they will do psychedelics in order to get high/have fun/get fried.

My experience with psychedelics in the 60's I consider invaluable ... did I do them so that I would "evolve" spiritually.  Hardly.  However, the result was that I did. As did many others.  However, others stayed tripping, or died tripping (sad but true).  So -- was it the psychedelics that brought about eventually a positive change in me ... or was it because I took those experiences (like realizing I wasn't only my body/or that life was in essence a game/or that past lives were very real) and without psychedelics continued to explore and search for more meaning in life than 9-5PM.

To me -- and this circles back to holosync -- it's a question of intent.

Re: Tools for healing

Thanks Christine,

I wasn't criticising the use of mind entrainment audio or software at all. Au contraire, I frequently use binaural beats and holosync myself as an aide, I was simply pointing out that psychedelics have been criticised elsewhere on this board whereas these have not. In my opinion, I think the effects and principles behind the two are similar, but find it odd that this has not been pointed out. Makes me suspicious that whether it is realised or not, the anti-drug stigma projected by the puppet-masters is in effect here also.

Edit: If anyone feels my points are off topic I shall continue them in the appropriate thread.

Although I'm not interested in discussing whether it's for the best or not to use psychedelics or holosync, or whatever, I did indeed have the same thought as you Alushe when I read the first post... to be fair, I think I had just come from the "psychedelics" page when I read this so it wasn't a stretch wink.

Myself, I underwent many sessions of Menla Therapy five or six years ago, it sounds like what you guys are talking about. It wasn't a cure all, but it definitely was a mode of energy work that had healthy consequences. Menla uses REM/right to left brain balancing (a basic description) with the intentions of realeasing sublimated trauma.

Re: Tools for healing

I'm sure many are already aware of Brainwave Generator, but those who aren't can download a free version from http://www.bwgen.com

Probably not good karma but if you want the full features unlocked without paying $39-95 for it PM me and I'll send you the fix program...
