Re: Knowledge? Power?

Sedna, be a jewel and tell me what you mean by chamomile. Your too witty for me sometimes! smile

What's chamomile? I'd check it right now but I'm about to fall asleep...and why not have a friend do the work for me?? hehe, just kidding (or am i...)

Re: Knowledge? Power?

Well Actually nobody ever said anything about looking outside. If the spark is not there well, I guess you could try looking at God. I am sure he has got some correlation with your inside. A flame also works fine. If you look into the center of the flame, and then look even deeper and deeper (into some kinda infinite centre)you'll end up seeing something interesting...Well, works for me and he looks quite nice, now if you will excuse me I am late for 5.55 spaceship.

Re: Knowledge? Power?

Now another tip for all you well meaning seekers. Try practicing Reiki at Master level for a few years. Few hours of practice a week and you won't even need to open your eyes to pick the best apples! You can even pick the best book in the library without even opening it. Energy is just as visible as all this interesting info you typed here. They teach that thing here don't they? Bye for now!

Howdy Torarota!

Whoa!  No kidding!  I am an Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki Master myself, and I know that having studied these methods has enriched my life to a great extent... what the eyes can't see the hands know and will show.

When I go to the bookstore part of my method for choosing the correct-for-me book is to hold it in my left hand for a few moments.  If my hand begins to pulse this is an indication that it's a good choice.  I noticed this for the first time just after my Reiki I initiation almost 10 years ago.  The book was [i]Bringers of the Dawn[/] by Barbara Marciniack, and my hands weren't just pulsing, they were throbbing!

I just have to share this with you Torarota--my mate, the man I live with, loves to watch me "go to work" in the produce department of the grocery store, he stands there just 'a smilin' watching me, <blush> he thinks it's adorable to watch me touch the fruit (Shhhhweeet, huh?), and he never rushes me along in this process... I'm such a doddler in a grocery store, it's my "toy box".

Maybe I should explain "toy box."  Cooking is one of my crafts, I was a professional cook for ten years and now have my own little Personal Chef business, though it's not thriving sad, I don't have to worry about its survival because I don't work out of a store front.  Anyway--I'm an apple pie maker from way back, I couldn't even begin to guess how many apples have passed through my hands... and maybe I'm bragging a little here roll, but I've even won a Blue Ribbon for my Apple Macadamia Nut Pie.

I truly believe a meal made with loving energy is a meal that may taste the same as one made otherwise, but one made otherwise won't do for your body and soul what one made with love does.

I find myself wanting to quickly add here for those who aren't Reiki folk--I don't think one has to be a Reiki practioner to instill a little lovin' into a dish of food.  It's about the energy, not necessarily the title. Reiki is a particularly focused form of healing energy, given the use of so many different symbols... it has its place, but not to the extent of discounting innate loving care.

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
