Topic: The nature of 'evil'

I just came across this article on Rense:

http://www.goupstate.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ … 5/0/NEWS03

It's basically about extremely disturbed serial killers and how psychiatrists don't like to classify these people as 'evil' because it's unscientific, yet 'evil' is about the only word that accurately describes these people.

Anyway I'm interested in what people here think of these people in metaphysical terms. Are these kinds of people likely possessed by really negative/demonic spirits or are they human like the rest of us?

Do the C's or any other channeled source make any comments about the nature of psychopathic killers, who are otherwise completely 'sane' people?

Well, the C's have loads of material about psychopaths. Check this:

Re: The nature of 'evil'

Evil is a sloppy and loaded term, in my opinion, although in some ways it is descriptive of the behavior of certain individuals.  I've known someone I believe is a psychopath.  I can describe my experiences more in detail if that would help, but the most important thing to know about them is just to stay away.

On a psychopath discussion board I am on, many victims have reported that a psychopath's eyes will change before an attack, turning black or red.  A few have seen a 'demon' during an attack.  'My' psychopaths eyes don't change color as they are already black to begin with, but I have seen a kind of 'evil' look in his eyes on occasion.

The Mask of Sanity is a good description:

However, I am not sure the Casseopaea site has a good handle on the issue.

Re: The nature of 'evil'

I think many psychopaths are empty, consciousless shells.   I also tend to think that possession by demonic entities plays a big role in many psychopaths and serial killers' behavior as well, which indicates that the individual is souled...but there's more than one pilot behind the wheel.

When you research serial killers, you'll see that many of them report the phenomenon of being in conflict with their "evil" side which rapes, maims, tortures and kills.  It's like they have two sides.  Their "good" side knows the bad side is bad, and is disgusted by it.  But when the bad side takes over, they admit to fully succombing to and enjoying it.  It could be "split personality", but it sounds to me more like being hosted by a demonic entity. (or several.......)    It's actually sad when you hear about serial killers in prison who just want to die.  They don't want to fight for parole, they don't want appeals...they want to die.  They're in a constant state of tortured conflict and want it to end.   I believe those are the possessed ones, the ones with attachments that used to feed on the killings and now feed on the mental torture / fantasies they inflict on the killer.

Freeme mentioned people talking about the eyes going dark in a person...I've seen that.  It's like a black cloud decends and takes them over.

I think anybody can be susceptible to hostile take overs by negative entities.  That's why you have to keep your frequency up, always work on it.   "Stalk" yourself, as Don Juan and the other nagaul Toltecs talk about.     I sincerely don't think demonic possession takes place overnight.  It's a slow and gradual process.    The victim sinks lower and lower into a negative funk, which in turns attracts negs like sharks to blood.  The negs begin swirling about, looking for openings, looking for weakness.  If the person can't snap themselves out of their negative lowered frequency then over the long term the negs could / will take over.  So keep your open doors closed, make friends with your Shadow self and stalk yourself.

Re: The nature of 'evil'

The word "unredeemable" comes to mind when I think of what characterizes a truly evil person. He is a person with a diamond-hard core of pure selfishness. He identifies with this core fiercely and completely. He will never change. Instead of experiencing connectedness with others, an evil one experiences complete and utter disconnectedness to the point of godhood. He is the most important and powerful being in the universe, beholden to none. His word is law. There is no difference between the truth and the lie when he speaks, because whichever words will facilitate his desires become the truth. Others have no internal reality for him. Their pain is less than meaningless. It's non-existent. He can't understand hunger unless he is hungry, or fear unless he is fearful. He destroys others with impunity and feels no remorse. He loves his life more than anything, and is extremely content with the way things are and the way he is. He would never endanger his own life.

The Gnostics say a blind and arrogant demigod named Yaldabaoth ignored the true Goddess and created this world in a fit of arrogance, declaring himself to be the most high god. Our world is a manifestation of his self-aggrandizing delusions. We are soaking in evil by virtue of our existence on this physical plane. Some embrace evil, some reject it, and the rest engage in it unknowingly. But in the end, evil is an illusion. From the beginning, it never had any substance of its own. Evil is only the ignorance of truth. It cannot survive.

There's a book called "People of the Lie" by M. Scott Peck that shines a light on "everyday" evil people--the kind who practice their art within the boundaries of normal social life. The author makes a heartfelt attempt to understand the subject, but is sadly hobbled by his fundamentalist Christian beliefs. However, the book is useful because of its case studies of evil people the author encountered during his career as a psychiatrist. If you go to this page and scroll down, you can read a good portion of one of the best case studies in that book.

I haven't encountered many evil people, but I've gotten to the point where I can sometimes recognize them. They are very often nice, even ingratiating. They can be coworkers, people on the street, salespeople, teachers, cops--anyone, really. They are curiously empty. They throw symbols at you when they talk, but these symbols have no reference to the reality of the moment or to your reality. This is because they cannot enter anyone else's reality or create a shared reality. All that exists for them is their own reality, and the game-like conventions of modern social life. They "hide" within the dichotomy between the physical and spiritual, between the social and the personal, operating from a position that seeks to pretend there is no difference. In this way they attempt to encourage "depthlessness". The shallower you become due to their influence, the easier it is to manipulate your spirit using its connectedness to physical reality. I don't think they have any direct power over your spirit.

to add on to what people have said here, i think evil inside of persons can also come from their past lives and things that are deeply rooted in their soul.

Re: The nature of 'evil'

You know, this brings up a good topic.  Seems to me that we, as spiritual beings, are nothing but our freewill.  We either let the good flow through us, or the evil.  Why are we held so responsible for our choices, and not so much our actions?  Certainly a good argument for the unique species theory.

Also, earning your soul or place in the spirit realm, rather than being an empty shell (which could, in reality, be what most of humanity is and why spiritual progress is so stressed), seems to be a main focal point, if not the main point.

* When we start identifying wisdom with our ability to comprehend its form, what wisdom is that?
* Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
* People want platitudes, not progress.

Re: The nature of 'evil'

Agreed with Haven on the concept of earning the soul.  I've felt that intuitively for a long time myself.

Agreed with czyx on evil meaning "unredeemable STS."  It seems right... I can't think of evil existing as a pure concept in and of itself.

Re: The nature of 'evil'

Like Freeme, I have been around a psychopath and although his eyes didn't turn red either (they were already blackish), his whole face changed according to his moods.  I got very good at reading body language around him.

He seemed to be a product of his upbrining - his mother was poisonous - maybe genetically but certainly having been brought up/programmed by her.  He also seemed to be totally selfish and would have tantrums (of the nasty kind) if he didn't get his own way.  He smoked pot almost all the time, so was open to being latched on to by every nasty thing that wanted to feast on/through him.  Actually, three of us (his 'friends at the time) held a 'circle' one evening and meditated very deeply and when he came in bringing something very nasty in with him, it took us all night to 'clear' him and the house.  I also think he brought in a lot of past life stuff - and dabbling in psychic stuff in the guise of spirituality didn't help with no healthy boundaries at all.  He was weak and immature and probably had a predisposition towards following the darker/STS side of his nature (if he had another side).  And this would have made him an ideal candidate/host for unseen STSs.

From 1994 until 1996, I worked as admin/receptionist in a government health department - Department of Forensic Psychiatry.  We didn't deal with dead bodies (forensic-wise).  We had psychiatrists who saw people who had been referred through the court systems.  They were there for ongoing counselling, and also parole psychiatric reports.  These people were pedophiles, redicidivists and / or murderers.  There were a lot of 'psychopaths' amongst them.

I used to type up their 20+ page reports including past history and most of these guys' (99.9% were guys) backgrounds and childhood upbringing included some kind of sexual abuse having been done to them.  But I used to wonder, why they chose to become perpetrators when their siblings were 'normal'.  But maybe there was no conscious choice.

At the time, I believed that everyone is good at heart and these people were just sick.  Some were certainly angry - and I found out by experience that one doesn't argue with them when they arrive angry!

Nowadays, I reckon some are genuinely good at heart and had been programmed so strongly and are so 'asleep' to their higher selves that they have lost the plot and are indeed unredeemable STS.  I agree with czyx on that one.  And I also agree with Lyra that some are empty consciousless shells.

I'm also wondering if there are others who are not human souls, but another breed/race that are more predatory without conscience who have incarnated to experience life in our wonderful 3D technicolour virtual reality suits (bodies) for the grand heightened experience of the kill in earth's plane.  These may or may not be 'reptilian' and may or may not be part of a larger conspiracy.

But as I become more aware of myself - as a youthful, innocent soul - as I grow stronger in the light of my own 'divine awareness' I am also aware of the pitch black darkness that also lingers within.  I can hear it breathing hoarsely, feel its seething-sticky nature pulling at my heart, wanting to darken my soul by having me identify with its sickening twisted desires.  Or maybe I am more aware of the dualistic nature of this universe that we are incarnated in - and can feel the presence of both - beauty and beast.  As we open up to one, we open up to both - otherwise we are closed and might as well be dead.

I think our challenge as humans is to hear the voices of both good and evil within - feel the lure of one and choose - using our free will - to walk the subtle, sparkling path of good (if that [i]is [/]our choice) - back to our true nature - one which is transcendant of both good and evil - one that exists/ed before the split into duality.

Then my thinking takes me back to wondering if it truly is all a head trip - that we are souls dreaming all of this on some grassy knoll in heaven.  The reality is ours for the making. I always come back to that thought.

evil is lack of love, a insane mind who turns against itself

Could it be that I'm aware not of my own inner darkness, but a transdimensional (TD) nasty that's too close for comfort?  And if I could see it, as Stuart Wilde suggests we all will when the Morph descends, I'll be very scared?

Or is it my shadow side?

Either way, I need to see it and accept it to overcome it - and not project it onto the world.

Somehow, its more scary to think its a TD than an aspect of myself.

There's also a lot more to me than what I've just described here by the way - I have my lighter, brighter, friendlier side too!! lol

But seriously, any thoughts?
