Topic: Something afoot with Social Security?

We all know that the criminals in Washington love to loot the SS system to make the numbers appear like the economy is "booming" as well as fund their dirty little projects.

A friend of mine recently went to get new plates for her car and was told that her SS number came up as a totally different person.

Now I see this on Rense: http://www.rense.com/general61/div.htm
Short synopsis is a woman was denied a drivers license because of problems with her SS number.

WTF is going on with the SS system? Wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Washington criminals are up to something especially nefarious. Anyone else have any "glitches" of this sort lately? Any theories?

There is also Identity theft which has been a major problem which the government has been totally ignoring.  Criminal negligence is how I would describe their response.  It may be part of the push to herd people into the new database systems, with only one 'identity', more efficient tracking maybe?

Re: Something afoot with Social Security?

I'm sure that's part of it, but I was thinking something a little more all-encompassing. Like "cooking the books", "questionable accounting practices", or simply a second computer system with everyones benefits reduced for the purposes of looting the system. Maybe what I'm seeing is what us computer types call working out the bugs.
