Topic: We did it! Trash Your TV!

Trash Your TV! is up and running.  We've still got some minor changes to make but the basic site is up.  www.trashyourtv.com

Phew!  That was a lot more work than I thought.  I have a lot more respect for Tom and all the work he has done for this site.

Great work there!  It really is surprising how much work is needed to go into a website isn't it.

Great job! The layout is nice and clean, it's easy to navigate, the writing is friendly yet substantive, and the url is easy to remember.

Kathy and Neomatrix with a "little bit of help" from Ayahuasca ... fabulous job.  I'm sending your url to all my TV watching friends.  I've not watched TV since 1972, except for times when I've been traveling.   I was 9 before my family owned a TV.  I can't stand TV, it's addictive, boring, bad, and anything else you can possibly say.  Can't wait til you get your t-shirts, bumper stickers etc... I'll be first in line!!

This is great. I really like the step by step process and suggestions for minimizing
tv viewing at first, then weaning yourself off it until you throw it away.

What about the role tv plays in dysfunctional families? Many times people use the tv to avoid reality, the real relationship problems they have, etc. Another area to possibly explore. How it infiltrates your life with tentacles of misperception, bleeds over into other areas, and creates reciprocally bad effects. All a part of the MCS.

Thanks everyone.  We were just looking at the stats last night.  We have had 107 unique visitors already, including one from the military!  We are planning to do an official launch today.  Wish us success!
