Topic: Indigo Children

What is it with indigo children?  I've heard from some sources that they're positive and represent hope for mankind, and i've also heard that they are bad and represent something negative.  Does anyone have an opinon on this?  Also, does anyone know of any links or books that explain it further, but don't sound too airy or new age-y?

Thanks

Re: Indigo Children

Hi ehhnus,

Well, I don't profess to be an expert on the Indigo thing, cause really, it's a very speculative topic with no real concrete proof, BUT, here's what I think might be going on with this phenomenon:

First off, the background --

Indigos are kids that have been born within the past 25 years or so that supposedly have an aura that is predominantly blue in color, versus a more well-rounded, multi-color aura,  (hence, the name "indigo") and who have personality traits of the following  (and this list is the standard list of traits that you'll find floating around on the web):

       1. They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).
       2. They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when
           others don't share that.
       3. Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are."
       4. They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or
           choice).
       5. They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult
           for them.
       6. They get frustrated with systems that are ritual-oriented and don't require
           creative thought.
       7. They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school,
which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any
           system).
       8. They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no
others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling
like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult
           for them socially.
       9. They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home
and finds out what you did").
     10.  They are not shy in letting you know what they need.

Now, here are some of my thoughts on this.   How do we know for starters that these personality traits are a "new" phenomenon?   With the exception of their supposedly predominantly blue auras, there's no way to tell whether or not today's kids are any different from a kid that was born in the 1500's, for instance.   We weren't there in the 1500's.   I mean, seriously, haven't there ALWAYS been impatient people who don't like to wait in lines, people who feel they are "special", those who feel uncomfortable in social situations, people who are creative and smart and can come up with a better way to do things, etc. ?    These are supposedly some of the traits of the "Indigo Child", but none of these traits are new!   If nobody in history had ever had those traits, then we wouldn't have all the art and architecture and culture that we have.  We wouldn't have such a thing called "Progress".

And regarding the blue auras -- most of us can't see auras.   So we're taking it on faith that supposedly most kids today are "blue", and not multii-colored.   I mean, I know I can't personally verify this.  I can't see auras.   So again, it all hinges on the supposedly blue or indigo colored auras which set these kids apart, and, the fact that people in the early part of the 20th century had mutli-colored auras.  But most of us weren't around in the early part of the 20th century.   And even if we were......most of us can't see auras.   So really, how do we know??

And on the flip side is the negative aspect to the above list of traits.   Discipline not working.   Demanding what they need, and taking what they want.  (this wasn't the exact wording in the above list, but when you do further research, that's what you will find, that Indigos are pushy, aggressive, demanding, and take take take what they want, no guilt, no questions, with that sense of "entitlement", and "royalty".)   Being impatient, anti-social, resisting authority.   In fact, if you look closer, some
of those traits are downright bordering on sociopathy.   Are these kids "enlightened" or are they just lil' sociopaths in the making?

In all fairness, there may very well be an influx of births during the last 25 years involving souls of an enlightened, higher vibration, coming in to "raise the vibration" on this planet during the "2012 transition".......and all that New Age jazz.  I really don't know.   So if that's true, then we have to realize that all things must be balanced, and if there's going to be an influx of "good", then there must be an influx of "bad" as well.   If this is the case, then I think part of what's happening is the bad and the good are getting mixed up in that above list.   The New Agers are lumping both into the same group without realizing what's going on, so the bad are being confused for the good.

I just know that for me, I have about half of the traits of an Indigo, but it doesn't mean I AM an Indigo.   I hate waiting in lines, and unless I absolutely have to, I WILL not do it, period.  I only feel truly comfortable and at ease with like minded people, and so therefore, really don't have any friends because it's so hard to find people who are like me.  And I used to know a woman who could see auras, and it seemed that everytime I asked her what color mine was at that particular moment, the answer was always "blue."   Blue blue blue......how boring!  I thought at the time, never having heard about "Indigo Children" before.   And so on.    But I still don't know whether to fully believe in this concept or not.

It would be nice to find someone who sees auras and who is trustworthy, not all flakey New Agey and who could verify once and for all whether or not this is a legit phenomenon.   There's just so much disinformation propaganda floating around out there, and I half suspect the "Indigo" thing is yet another manufactured disinformation campaign to confuse the New Agers.

Re: Indigo Children

Hi Ehhnus,
yes I've wondered about this term too. As I, in general, experience the children around me, so are they very receptive to high frequencies of consciousness. This might be due to my own awakening over the past months. But sometimes it feels like if the souls incarnating around me now are quite old and experienced ones. I am often amazed when looking a child deep into the eyes and see that knowing which goes beyond the next Coke or Disney movie. And they really respond to the space I offer with my frequency. It is amazing to observe people when I play my Didge or shaman drum with loving intention.
But please anybody who has more accurate details about the Indigo children share it! Why Indigo - does that relate to the 6th chakra?

Cheers
René

Hi Lyra,
that was coincidence in action!

Re: Indigo Children

There is a site on indigos and helping them navigate the world effectively, but I don't remember the address. I've met a few indigos and they knew all about star clusters and extraterrestrial groups at a young age (the ones I've yet talked to.)
The link to the site mentioned may be found in Montalk links, and Icke links. There are support groups for parents of indigos, and so forth.

Re: Indigo Children

I think all that indigo childern are is an observational term on the additional activations of DNA for the upcoming waves of children. Telekinetics and miracles, the "second coming of Jesus" probably all part of the 360,000+ of his descendents...(very presumptious, I agree)

Any agendas or psychopathic-relation to the term "indigo children" is a sign of misunderstanding of the subject from not looking at the picture like an objective-avian, *cough*, bird.

There is a transition occuring. Everyone is admitting to the possibility of a shift or wave, or whatever. If this is so, then "As Above, So below", a transition is occuring due to our linear-perspective. Bad things aren't the only thing in-store for us. There are many great and exciting things that make this a time where most of us have predestined ourselves to be apart of.

Not to be all nitpicky, but I don't understand what you were trying to say in your first two paragraphs.   If you could try to clarify what you were saying that would be appreciated.

Sorry, that's what I call "witty blackbox". Sometimes confusing I guess.

2012 = Supposed "shift". Time is not definite so it is an approximate date for a great event. Why "great"? That line I've been using lately from the movie "Rat Race". Good things happen progressively, Great things happen all at once."

What I mean by this quote is that a transition is occuring. Due to many events intersecting. A.k.a, "Realm-Border Crossing". "A unique opportunity". The descriptions of what will occur is endless as subjective definitions aren't finite.

Funny thing about these intersections is that we create what occurs. Anti-time theory. The mere "thought" of it's probably creation, manifests it's creation via anti-time cause-and-effect. The Universe is created backwards from Big Bang to Level 7 to Level 1. We experience time by doing the reverse. Get it? If the Universe was a program and you are the creator. You'd start off by doing all of the major things and work yourself down. Humanity being the result of hyper-magnification of existence...till all you have is soap-opera's, love-triangles, Trump and smoke-addicts (and I don't mean smokers).

"Indigo Children" = Genetically we are evolving back to our original structure: 12-DNA strand existence. These children are showing obvious traits due to an obvious transition. Do you expect evolution to create comfort in change? Change will always be drastically argued and debated by those who are programmed to speak like puppets. Desperate puppets.

These children will continue to arise in higher-magnification and simple smoke-topics like conspiracy and taboo will become equivalent to speaking about dull-subjects like "boiled-eggs!" These children will continue to be irritable in our society, but for good reason. This irritance will allow change to be forced if not obliged. In fact, I bet the powers-that-be are doing the latter, and the force that is seen is usually due for a good cause.

Not sure what else to elaborate on, I could go on for hours.

Re: Indigo Children

On January 29th 2005 is the international release date of the independent movie -- Indigo.

You can see a trailer at www.indigothemovie.com -- plus from that website see where it is playing near you.

Also, if you are into movies that are uplifting independent movies check out www.spiritualcinemacircle.com  -- a friend of mine joined this "circle" and the DVDs he receives are really terrific/different/not Hollywood fare.  OK ... some aren't that great but then neither are all the Hollywood ones either smile

Re: Indigo Children

The "Indigo children" idea is a setup of the Illuminati to get data of
children with special abilities depending on DNA and personality.

When a child shows these abilities, OK that's an "INDICATION"/"INDIGO" for the Illuminati to catch this child for their breeding purposes !

So, be very aware if you have "indigo"-like kids !

And.....how would they get this data?

Example:   You have Mrs. Smith.  Mrs. Smith has two kids, ages 5 and 7, who show traits of what have been deemed "the Indigos."   Mrs. Smith goes out and purchases several books about it at her local bookstore in order to learn more about this, and she even pays non-traceable cash, no credit cards. She goes home, reads the books, decides, "Oh wow!  It seems I have INDIGOS!!"  and modifies her parenting slightly to accomodate this.  Stuff like, respecting their opinions, allowing them to have their say, giving them more leeway, etc.  Stuff that nobody on the outside would ever know about because it's all behind closed doors at home with the family.

Now what?

How does the Illuminati collecting data fit into all of this?   How are they getting involved here?

Re: Indigo Children

Well lyra this is an ideal scenario but from my experience it doesn't always happen like this. I have known parents who "show off" their "indigo kids" everywhere (ego-pride), and there are also special workshops / places dedicated to them. In south america and asia, poor parents are given money if they send their "indigo kids" to "special schools". It's all a big trap.

Many of the disinformation/illuminati agents, such as Drunvalo or James Twyman (who sponsors the Indigo movie) are fond of talking about this phenomenon in order to bring parents to them.

REEEEEaaally!   I didn't know that!   Had no idea.  Well that certainly puts a new spin on things.   Atlantis didn't elaborate, I guess it was supposed to be 'understood' that this is how it is, but honestly, I didn't know, and I'm sure others reading this thread had no idea either.  I didn't even know that they talked about "indigo kids" in places like South America and Asia.  Didn't seem like their cultures would be into that.  Shows what I know!  Anyway, thanks for providing the missing details.

Re: Indigo Children

Some more thoughts:

Psychic abilities does not make one enlightened. I think it's only natural that children born in the past 10 years see much more things. The illusion is going down and children who come here can instantly see what took decades to be unveiled, because their minds is not yet corrupted by false beliefs. However they still have ot work on soul-issues and their psychic abilities make them face even more challenges. To consider them as semi-gods can only feed their self-importance and make it more difficult for them to deal with these realities.

Also while I haven't read books about how to raise indigo children, I have the feeling most of them are total BS and can only produce STS monsters. The good old rules of child education should still apply to them. Balance is the key, including the balance between discipline and support. To make Grand Rules about how we should raise these kids can only pervert the vision of the parents. No knowledge is better than bad knowledge and I'm convinced most of these books on indigo children will do immense harms to these very children.

PS: Just saw your message lyra. I also had no idea that such practices occured until a reliable source told me about what happened in South America. As for Asia I have read something about it on the Internet but I don't remember where. People in poor countries don't have access to the Internet but they can still see that their children are different and naturally they seek answers. And then Matrix agents are just around the corner.
