Topic: Your vote counts or does it?

I found this article on Rense.com disturbing.  Not that I was under any delusion that our votes mean a thing but this starts to make it even more obvious that it's just a huge pretense.

(maybe this post could be added to elections? democracy? huh?)

Re: Your vote counts or does it?

Here's the whole story from Bev Harris whose brave hard work brought this to light.

Beyond that, there's no real difference between the political parties.  They don't serve us, they serve special interests and corporate money.  Two sides of the same coin, and we're the rubes who keep this counterfeit currency in circulation.

Re: Your vote counts or does it?

Thanks for the links Soloflecks.  For years I've felt that the only reason they even have elections is to poll the public to see what they are easily willing to give up.(in order to be "protected") (Much like Tom mentioned in the incremental attrition post).

There is always a "hot" issues and one is on one side...the other on the other.  But not because they care or anything - just to see what the public will put up with.  Years ago, gun control was a big issue.  This year the blah blah blah is Kelly's Vietnam record/VS Bush's nothing.

Soooo...are they polling for the acceptance of the draft, for example?

Re: Your vote counts or does it?

Thirty years ago, my friend Max said to me "They don't care which side you're on, as long as you're on one side or the other." I have seen a schematic for an 'economic engine' which utilized this principle of polarization. It seems to me now that it may have been based on free energy principles. Opting out of the 'engine' may be difficult, but necessary to survival. "Don't vote, it only encourages them!"

That says it very well, aaronfirebrand.  You'll like Kaminski's article:
