Topic: Speaking of Truth...

The word is utilized by many on this forum, usually preceded by some form of the word "seek."  While there are certainly many people here who are seeking the truth, I thought it might be fitting to devote a thread to the expression of truth by citing the components of the puzzle you have pieced together thus far.  The truth, in my opinion, is absolute and must be sought after by meticulously dissecting the premises composing the thought in question.  So far, I have come up with a few concepts that have held to my best critique.

1.  Because the Source is infinite, there are an infinite number of paths to the Source, all of them specifically designed for the individual soul seeking reunion.  Therefore, each individual path is varying and one cannot state that a certain experience or belief is not right or "correct" because that belief at that time may be the correct step on the path of Truth.  That does not discourage critque, however, because each belief may be awaiting a tranformation when bits of truth manifest.

2.  There is no duality of the Source.  This is one of the greatest illusions of 3D earth, and the greatest irony of all, in that man created the illusion.  Because we are all imprints of the Source, we have the ability to create.  The statement that the Source must have created evil since it also created good is like saying since apples grow on that tree oranges must too.  People on this earth are responsible for the creation of evil, just as they are responsible for the creation of skyscrapers, automobiles, computers and books.  Just as we can create things with a physical manifestation, we can also create things with an emotional/mental manifestation...ie...thoughts, feelings, dreams.  We also manifest emotional crisis in the form of what is commonly referred to as "evil."  Again, this is specifically a human creation.

These are a few of the things I have come up with so far.  Anyone have something they would like to contribute/critique?

Re: Speaking of Truth...

Hi wmhaoi,

I agree with the first concept you presented. Some thoughts that came to my mind regarding the second one:

"The source" ultimately is All-That-Is, emanating downwards from (perhaps) 7th density to 1st. The source doesn't CREATE anything, it just IS anything. As you stated: we are imprints of the source. So the source is both diversed and one altogether.
Creation - what is it? The word suggests that some power (me/you/god) is able to "generate" something out of nothing. At least in 3D that's impossible. All you can do is give matter a different shape/composition than before. Maybe at higher densities that possibility does exist.
Good and evil are subjective definitions. There are of course dualities in creation: expansion and contraction, simplifying and growth in complexity and many more. All that exists are structures of matter/energy. "Evil" is the tendence to reduce diversity, "good" is anything that promotes diversity in an harmonic way. That aside there is positivity and negativity. The tendence of a structure/beeing to suck energy (in its widest sense) into itself is negative. Giving energy outwards is positive. There are so many possible definitions regarding the so-called good and evil... In a more social context respect of freewill is good, the other ...that's clear. I think, if you try to classify beeings as either good or evil, you can do that only on the basis of intent - STS vs. STO.
What is your definition of good and evil if you try to bring it into an abstract form?
Regarding the creation of emotions and thoughts: what if men doesn't create them at all but is just some kind of channel? just a thought...I don't know

I hope my words match the sense I intended. No native-speaker I am ;-)

Re: Speaking of Truth...

hello wmhaoi,

i agre with your points here.

on the notion of Evil, i agree that evil is something we have made up, as evil/good are illusory labels that we created on a mass consciousness.

But, that doesnt mean there ARENT negative beings and negative forces out there.

The statement that the Source must have created evil since it also created good is like saying since apples grow on that tree oranges must too

well, it would be like saying both apples and oranges DO BOTH grow on trees, just maybe not the same ones.
wink

sorry if that sounds smart allecky.

what im trying to get at, is that i can see that saying God/Source created evil may be an injustice (ive said it before...) but the fact that the Source encompasses ALL, doesnt that mean that negative things fall under the Source as well?

let me know your thoughts on the similarities / differences between "evil" and 'negative' and 'STS' - everything !

haha, wmhaoi - i really fancy reading your theories and just discussing this kind of thing with ya ! stay up !

Re: Speaking of Truth...

Hey WHMAOI,

I agree, that there are many paths that can wake you up to the infinite source. I think growth occurs based on principles/motives and attitudes that worked into your life. I do not think these are "LAWS" persay, because I think when you transcend laws and rules, you get to the principles and focus, the character of that which made the laws. As you character resembles that of the infinite source(that which made the "laws"), you can than become the infinite source.

As for the duality of the infinite source. STS and STO opened my eyes to better definitions to work with, granted I think Good and Evil are just as applicable at times. I believe that there are negative entities. I believe that they will try to influence and manipulate you. However that doesn't mean it is the be - all and end - all of negative, evil.  Much as Isaiah says how "satan" came to be.... there was no negative STS satan until it was "birthed" inside of him. I think we have the ability to do this too, and we cast our responsibility in it away too easilty regarding our negative, evil, bad, STS tendancies.
STS, negative, evil, bad is in essence still part of the creators source especially within us. It is the growth that changes our appearance.

The analogy I come up with is like water and ice (that can propel itself). Both are water...just in different states/attitudes, as the ice(STS) moves through the water(STO), the water moves around it. And as the ice immerses itself in the source(STO) the ice cube/berg(STS) can then become like the source(STO). But if the ice cube/berg(STS) gets attracted to other ice cubes/bergs(STS) then they tend to remain more unchangeable and out of the source.

I think negative STS actively seeks to attach to you because you identify as and ice cube/berg and it seeks to keep you out of the source and vigorously defends (tries to keep) you. But as you break away, wake up, you touch the source and it is only as you immerse yourself in the source that you can change to become more STO.

Conversely the "negative" struggles in life can be see as beneficial. If the ice cubes/bergs decide to attack you they can break you up a bit, which can actually make that part of you that is smaller that you "allow" to break away and fall in the water to Identifiy with the source that much more quickly and thus becomes postive or beneficial. However if you let that attack cause a piece to fall away and be seen as negative...it is as if that piece fell on another ice cube/berg and doesn't change but leaves you more fragmented, broken and weak.

Just some thoughts.

Peace,
Teddy

Re: Speaking of Truth...

Hi Wmhaoi,
Good question.  I like the answer that came out of the School of Thinking online.  It says to replace the concept of "Truth" with always moving from your current view of the situation to a better view of the situation.  CVS to BVS.  Maybe at other densities, probably not until 7th, we can know "truth".  For third density, I think it is best to stick with the CVS to BVS formula.  That way we are always 'seekers'.

They have a free email course which discusses this issue.

Okay, I just spent fifteen minutes on a reply and it vanished into thin air.  Weird.

Re: Speaking of Truth...

wmhaoi (and all),

If you're not already, you should seriously consider using the Firefox web browser and ditch Internet Explorer.  It's a step up in safety and usability.

Ditto for Thunderbird as an alternative to Outlook Express.

Both of the above are open-source alternatives, work as good or better than the Microsoft products, and are free downloads at www.mozilla.org

Yeah, and while you're at it ditch Windows and use Linux or FreeBSD. Another step up in safety and usability.

Re: Speaking of Truth...

Right on.  Anyone who isn't aware of it, you can download the entire CD sets for just about any flavor of Linux completely free.

Mandrake is a great choice which is as easy or easier than Windows to get installed.

Re: Speaking of Truth...

I'm breaking free...Got Thunderbird and Firefox today!
Thanks for mentioning this stuff.
So far seems to be working better and faster...I have been having a shit load of trouble with my computer which I felt was more program based that connection.

Next stop Mandrake.

Peace,
Teddy

Re: Speaking of Truth...

Good show T-Ren.  I'm not an expert on the subject but if you need any help with the Linux install I'd be happy to be of whatever help possible.

If you're really getting into the open source spirit one other great application is OpenOffice.org which is a full office suite designed to compete with Microsoft Office.  Definitely worth checking out.

It still really boggles my mind that products like this, Linux, the BSDs and all the other amazing software that are legitimately available at no cost whatsoever.    Anyone truly interested in freedom owes it to themselves to get into the habit of using this software whenever possible.  I'm not a programmer myself, so like most users I'm not  examining the free source code for bugs or back doors or anything, but it's nice to know it's out there and available for whomever might care to do so.  At least if there's something funny going on with the code there's a CHANCE someone might catch on.

Another few important applications for people running Windows are:

Spybot Search and Destroy, and
AdAware SE  (the new second edition which obsoletes the previous AdAware program)

Both the above are free and detect all sorts of nasty crap that tends to infest people's systems.  Get both.  Run them from time to time.

Also if you don't have antivirus on your Windows machine, go to grisoft.com and you can download AVG which (as far as I know) has a good reputation.
