Topic: NATIONAL ID CARD BILL PASSED BY CONGRESS TODAY, DECEMBER 8TH

Holy  ***** ...... you know what.   Not good.  Patriot Act II and the National ID card supposedly passed (EDIT), Tuesday, December 7, 2004 by Congress.  If I find out more or anything to the contrary, I will update.   Here's the article with update at the top from Prison Planet.  I hope I'm reading this wrong or something........

Yep; there on the way in the UK too.  Funny how they have been approved in both countries within weeks of each other.

Spoken to a few other Europeans about this previously; they don't see the big deal, France has had ID cards from decades.

But then European countries (the UK especially) aren't exactly about freedom of the people...

Another thing to note is the date -- If it really went through on the 7th, then that's the anniversary of Pearl Harbor being bombed, (which was known about beforehand by FDR and allowed to happen) and which was our "motivation" for entering into WWII.

Holy shit! This is bad.  The house passed it last night and I guess it goes to the Senate today.  This is not just the id card this is patriot II.  Let me see what else I can find.

Well Brazil's got good beaches and warm weather, everybody's half naked and partying, and it's got a so-so economy.  Sounds like South Florida to me!   I'm there!   big_smile big_smile

Re: NATIONAL ID CARD BILL PASSED BY CONGRESS TODAY, DECEMBER 8TH

You may (or may not) want to hold off packing your bags, as I don't think the bill passed today is actually Patriot Act II.

Though I may be wrong, the bill that passed today, "Intelligence Reform And Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004" is something different than Patriot Act II which is officially known as "Domestic Security Enhancement Act 2003".

How exactly they differ, I'm not sure as apparently the actual contents of the bills have not been made public or even available to most members of congress.

I'll try to learn more, meantime -might be a good idea to keep a suitcase by the door!

Anybody have more info?

Thanks for the update, StephenM....This would be a good time to add that Ayahuasca mentioned a great place to live over in my "Canada?" thread...British Columbia / Vancouver Island Canada, and he posted links that show some fantastic, gorgeous beautiful amazing pics of that area.   Keep it in mind, folks!   big_smile   Vancouver, here we come!   The mountains, the rainforest, the beach, no Patriot Act or ID cards.....sigh!

Yeah, would be cool to build a community of Noble Realms people somewhere. Aside from the occasional bickering about wrestling's place in the world of tomorrow, I'm sure it would be a great community to be a part of. Wherever it be--Brazil, Canada, or otherwise--I'm there smile

u know ive thought of this too, quite recently actually.
a community of people that devote to STO, or just plain are nice, spiritual people in this community.

how viable do you think this would be, and where do u think it would be most feasible ?

also, i'd like to ask the fellow NR members;
How many of you would consider moving into a community like this? how far would u be willing to travel? and what are your thoughts.

(if this shall be a new discussion, montalk or whoever feel free to copy my text and begin a new topic)

how is this supposed to be implemented, and when ?

I absolutely agree with the sentiment expressed here by Jim Hightower. My attitude is "Why should I move?"

If you want to stay then you shouldn't move.

But not everyone wants to live in the country they were born in all their life, and this usually has nothing to do with governments/NWO/Illuminati whatever.

Ever since I was about 18 I've always liked the idea of travelling round the world and settling in other places, either for a short or long period of time.

I get bored if I stay in any one place for too long and right now I feel like I can't get away fast enough. Certainly the current political situation has intensified those feelings, but for me personally it's something I've always wanted to do.
