Topic: replace - a constuctive poem
hi friends
i have began this little "poem" entitled "replace" ... but i have gotten some ideas on where to take this poem. its not complete, and i was having some blanks on what to put here and there, and then i thought of a wonderful idea!
why not make this a constructive poem where the beautiful souls at NR can add to ?
so, while that might not make too much sense, it will once you see the poem.
here it is, still in the works;
---------------------------------------------------
"replace"
replace currency with communication
replace greed with satisfaction
replace ignorance with knowledge
replace sorrow with insight
replace hate with disagreement
replace fossil fuel with cosmic energy
replace lies with truths
replace houses with homes
replace fear with awareness
replace religion with spirituality
replace war with peace
replace noise with music
replace chem-trails with clouds
replace conspiracy with community
replace obligations with opportunity
replace control with trust
replace materials with
replace vanity with beauty
replace seperation with
replace crime with
replace demons with angels
replace obstacles with tests
replace life with quests
replace death with new life
replace science with
replace governments with
replace manipulation with
replace reality with existance
replace disease with
replace weapons with willpower
replace
----------------------------------------
what i would like is for additions or suggestions to the poem's lines. as you can see its theme is about replacing one thing (that is "bad" or holding us back) with its healthier and brighter alternative.
please feel free to add your own thoughts or to modify existing ones if u can think of better words. even if u cant figure out the entire line, post up key words you feel should be included, and together we will come up with the rest.
i think this will prove to be interesting and creative and eventually i will publish this elsewhere and of credit will go directly to everyone here at NR who contributed.
many thanks, and have a great weekend !!
