A Kundahli experience?

I would like to share an experience i had some years back which I recorded as I do with all my dreams and experiences:

1997 – Approximately – Circle work – before I started in real estate.
During deep meditation I sensed  through a gold spinning vortex out of my crown chakra that I was flying on a very large eagle, I was holding onto its wings and I was laying flat against it whilst looking down over Ethiopia.
I was told at the time by my higher self that it was Ethiopia. We glided all around the hot scorching arid land. Whilst flying above, I could see all the devastation and hunger, people who were starving and deeply saddened through lack of shelter and food, together with being forgotten as a race of people.
I expressed this in my talk whilst under a deep trance through meditation, I do not know what else I said, but when I came out of the deep trance, I had tears rolling down my face and weeping profusely. My teacher held me and started crying as well, their was a sadness in the room with the other circle workers.  Once I finished my talk, we were all asked to sit quietly with a pencil and pad of paper to draw or write what we all experienced whilst my higher self spoke.  I drew a large eagle with myself holding onto the eagle in flight.  My hair was blown back through the wind in my hair.
All those from the circle spoke of their experiences after my talk, they felt a great need to help others and a sadness that I expressed.  I do not remember what the others drew or wrote, but I do remember that it created a lot of discussion between us all.
After this meditation, I spoke to my teacher and asked her what this gold energy was...she said she had never heard of anyone having this experience before!

I have often thought of the the spinning colour of beautiful gold from my crown chakra and remember the spiraling out feeling it had on me...to this day I have not had a similar experienced.

Two or three days ago I was at the bookstore and ending up reading CW Leadbeater's "Chakras" in one sitting.  It's an excellent introduction to the subject.  He argues that this force is very dangerous due to it's uncontrollable surges of energy which can seriously damage your soul itself.

Recently there have been a few times where I would feel my whole body "glowing" for lack of a better term and the sensation of energy just pouring from my hands.  Other times I've just felt the energy in my hands by themselves.  I wasn't sure what to make of this but now that I've started to read up on the subject I'm understanding a bit more.  The funny part of it is the two full-blown times that I recall recently happened not while meditating but while READING -- the most recent time "The Book of the SubGenius" no less!  I kid you not.  I was reading it and having one of those "a-ha" moments, laughing out loud, when I began to feel it.  It's an incredibly energized, alive feeling, of extreme here-and-now alertness, with heightened awareness and amplified reflexes. 

Maybe someone who knows more can comment on this.  As I said this was something that came over my whole body at once, there was no feeling of energy "rising" as such, but maybe there's not supposed to be.  I'll have to read more on the subject to see if this is kundalini or something else entirely.

According to Leadbeater, the force is very dangerous and not something to be toyed with.  There is a possibility that it could explode downwards rather than upwards with terrible consequences both physical and spiritual.  The warning is not to lightly go _trying_ to create the effect without being under the supervision of a Master.

The point is also made that there are three aspects to the energy, two around a center as in a double helix around the spinal cord.  Leadbeater also suggests that the rituals of the three degrees of Freemasonry are designed to quicken these forces.   This also reminds me of the quote from Manly Palmer Hall's book "The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry" where he says something to the effect that at a certain point of initiation, "the seething energies of Lucifer" will be at your disposal.   Also, I believe in the same work, it is explained that one of the principle lessons of that society is to teach the proper application of energy.  I think I'll have to go back and reread some of the material I have on my shelves. 

I also am reminded of the film "The Neverending Story" where the statues fire bolts of light at the candidate, and only the true of heart can pass through without experiencing destruction.   I seriously wonder if those of us, especially our leaders, who seem to be "empty shells"  are people who have played with fire, so to speak, without being duly prepared, and as a result literally burned out their souls.
