Topic: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

Friends,

A while back i read an article on the 'net talking about a meeting the UN had (i think in Costa Rica) about changing the monthly time calendar of the world.

You can imagine my reaction (not previously knowing about this moonth deal) - i thought "what the hell is the UN doing trying to change the months on us, conspiracy conspiracy!!" i thought. and the article did a fine job of pushing me to think that.

heres the article, first of all if u wanna read it.

But, after a month or more, information began reaching me about this situation, long after i had forgetten about the whole thing...

this information was the following, regarding the 28-day moonth calendar;

- the moon cycle is 28 days (hence "moonth" instead of "month")
- the femal menstrual cycle is also 28 days long (sorry guys... but its true, and important)

basically my perspective has changed on this moonth calendar.

I now believe it actually DOES make more sense than our 30- (and 31, sometimes) day calendar.

I would like your input on this, any information regarding it or historical data is also greatly appreciated.

I heard that Pagans use this 28-day moonth calendar.

montalk i know you've got some info on this !!

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

yes this is a movement coming from people close to the mayan calendar... they try to convince the UN because they bought the lies that the UN is here to restore peace and all that propaganda... but it's never going to happen, and some are starting to realize this, including the founder Arguelles who, i think, said he was not going to bother with politics anymore...

anyway i've been following more closely the mayan calendar in the past several weeks and it is quite amazing how much the cycles of my life are close to the cycles of that calendar. i'm going through some turmoils regarding one project i participate on, and i realized that the climaxes happened every 13 days, which is another cycle of the mayan calendar.

regarding the actual 28-day month, it wouldn't be a surprise for me if the powers that be (the roman empire at the time, and then catholic church) had decided to set a new calendar just to make people less in tune with the natural cycles of time. frequencies discordance is always useful for them.

it is pretty funny that the article you linked tries to make us think that this gregorian calendar is somehow "sacred" and was suggested by jesus christ himself. lol.

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

Reading a book titled "Time and the Technosphere"-The Law of Time in Human Affairs by Jose Arguelles, Ph.D. It covers this topic encompassing the dynamics, Mayan aspect, and history (to name a few).

Ermolai, funny how I picked up on the 13 day thing, cause that's about when ovulation occurs, but guess that's not really surprising.

I'd recommend reading this book in consort with other books/subjects, it requires some thoughtful digestion.  Having 2 or 3 books going on at the same time helps me to "get it" much easier.

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

so, you guys are FOR the 28-day moonth calendar, yes?

I , too, dont like how the UN is the one promoting this though, kind of "not-right" but hey, if the UN can get it to pass, then that seems like a good idea to me? just have to wonder about ulterior motives i guess, but maybe, just maybe, this one is in good faith!

thanx for the references i will scope these liturature out.

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

Hmm, if there really is an emotional/psychological/hyperdimensional influence to moon cycles, and one wanted to disguise this because it would get people asking too many questions, one would establish a calendar as much out of synch with the moon cycle as possible. I mean, if our calendar were indeed 28 days based on the moon, then people would wonder why certain days of every month (or certain days of the week) were always the same. Just a thought...

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

ok, here are some related thoughts ive had (before learning of moonth)

i thought once, when considering mathematics and geometry, that maybe, in the past, earth had a 360-day year, which resonates with the 360 degrees found in one circle....
... so naturally i thought that something BIG happened that changed our orbit, like planet X or something big on the celestial level.

i thought it was wierd because 12 months of exactly 30 days fit into a 360 day year.

but anyways, that is just mere speculation, maybe theres been something (data) related to that?

another thing is, on this 28-day moonth calendar, how is that last remaining Day handled?
they say our year is... 365 and 1/4 days long?? or is it 364 1/4 ?
13x 28 = 364

seems theyd have to tweak our HOURS as well, no ?

sooo much info, not enough time !!

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

on the mayan calendar there is a "day out of time" to adjust for the missing day. it occurs every year on the 25th july.

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

um, is there a 13th zodiac sign hidden somewhere thats been riduculed ?

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

Today we have entered a serie of 10 galactic activation portals (GAPs). These series happen twice every 260 days. From my experience GAPs are days when it's possible to do much changes to our consciousness, in other words, quantum leaps in dimensions. They are not always easy to deal with, but we can learn a lot.

GAPs are in black on this image:

Re: 28-Day Moonth Calendar & more

what is this chart ermolai ?

sorry if that sounds trivial

edit- guess i should examine it before i speak, its got 13 columns so i guess thats the months of a 13 moonth calendar... but its got 20 rows, this equals out 260 so thats what you were talking about...

is this 260 days a year in some calendars? sorry im not too familiar with this ?
or is this just a particular cycle that occurs independent of the year(orbit) ?

thanks
