Re: halo

yes, I'm aware of Halo. I love playing SP FPS [single player first person shooter] but I prefer a game with a little broader scope than the perpetual 'kill all' objective . . . be on the lookout for Snowblind PC!!!

ya, but I would agree that not only Halo, but most FPS games now do condition and desensitize players . . . there's even one made by the army - America's Army: Operations.

Re: halo

spartan, do you have a specific reason for asking this?  After all, there are hundreds of these types of games out there.  As far as I can tell there's nothing out of the ordinary about it.

Re: halo

its not that Halo in specific is some kind of programming tool, but these kind of games in general could be considered.

i love playing these games as well, i play Halo, CS, Q, QII, QIII, AVP2, amongst others. and i just started deus ex.

theres nothing wrong with the games, but perhaps some weak minded people with certain characteristics coupled with psy-ops could get someone to do something crazy.

i dont think so. as long as youre strong minded.

plus, some of these games are beneficial. like deus ex, has Illuminati storyline with cover-ups im told... and other games can help you build certain thinking skills etc.

Halo 2 coming soon. early november i hear?

Re: halo

Halo's gonna die out with the rest of the 'kill all' FPS games - Snowblind PC will rule all [hopefully!].

What do you think of DX so far? put it in the DX thread . . .
